And Jeff keeps me going, as do the commenters here, all of whom I think of as fellow travelers.). Locally, we’re doing battle over books, school boards, library boards, housing authorities. I’m a well-informed voter and can think of lots of things to cut-and-paste to stick here, but time is precious. So I may lurk and like for a while. Vote Blue, kick the assholes to the curb.

I needed the laugh today after just listening to some idiot talking heads on NPR (yes, they seem to have gone over to the dark side as well!) bloviate about how "professional" Robert Hur sounded in his congressional testimony, implying his "professionalism" was a "fuck you" to both Democrats and Republicans because neither side "got what they wanted". I guess I must have been watching something different...what I saw was an arrogant prick who would not own up to his own words, and who left out very important words in his report that did "appear" in the transcript; I heard some very smart Democrats asking very smart questions that highlighted Hur's partisan hackery; along with some pretty stupid Republicans who basically said nothing of any substance and asked stupid, leading questions ("...evidence of the crimes...").
