The Villiages is a cesspool of trumpers. While they may not get flooded out, I understand they live almost on top of a huge sinkhole. If I’m not mistaken, they had to close one section. Can’t remember if that area had opened or not but as their fresh water goes away, sinkholes will only get worse. So there is hope perhaps.

Thanks for the info. People are leaving but they are also flooding into the state. It’s still a fragile ecosystem though and won’t take human abuse forever.

What a wonderful thought.

No one was hurt
There’s still LOTS of fresh water in Florida. ZephyrHills is bottling it as fast as they can.
That area has all kinds of lakes & springs. Before Disneyworld everyone vacationed at Silver Springs. It’s also where they filmed Tarzan.

Very true. It’s getting way too built up. I only lived there for 5 years. The Springs were the only nice part.
