As they neared me, I heard the refrain’ “They lowered the bar for you. They lowered the bar for you…” It was Uncle Clarance Thomas they were shouting at. I went into the hall to listen to his speech. Much of the attendees stood up and turned their backs to him. I wish I had a video camera that day. It was hilarious.

Totally, haven’t we all (hopefully) evolved over time? Age brings wisdom. And President Biden has served this country through every horrible event life threw at him, and he came out a more compassionate and wise. He’s good man, a man that we need to have represent us now!

That is what I reply to people all the time when they list some of Biden's racist sounding gaffs. Some of them are just really old, & from a different time, & I truly believe he has grown, softened, & changed; & then some of the more recent ones are just his gaffs, where what he says comes out sounding bad, but he had not malicious or racist intent.
He to his credit did apologize to Anita Hill, more than once. There were many trolls saying he did not when he was running in 2020, I don't know why they lied as it was so easily Googled.
He did say that that vote was one of his biggest regrets. I know…to late, but nevertheless he admitted his mistake.
