On The Young Turks yesterday, they were discussing just what he meant by calling AG James "Peakaboo James." >:-( The older ones among us at least will remember the slur to which his reprehensible dog whistle refers.

More likely they will attack him unless he is in isolation, meaning secret service is relieved from protecting him or maybe not. I am sure they are eager for him not to be incarcerated. I think at that point we need to have our legislators create a law saying no funding convicted criminal presidents off of taxpayers dime!

And that would be an alliteration, which he would love. He and his childish love of insulting nicknames. That absolute piece of shit. I'll bet you anything he said that in front of staff, and someone said "you can't say that!" So then someone said "say peakaboo instead!" And they laughed.

His downfall cannot come soon enough.

Oh, I've got those childhood memories too but in my family if you were caught uttering that kind of disparaging language toward black people, you would get a beating for it. We loved them in my small rural town. They were kind and gentle and at that time, we were all in it together as far as treating each other well. My dad had a farm and a drug store and we were with them all the time and loved them and I remember nothing but kindness from them. But now I know what was done to them, keeping them poor and subservient even with all that kindness and it's very very painful to me.

Since written gag orders are not effective. I suggest a physical one. Clamp his heat in a cage helmet and let him sit in a prison cell until juvenile Donny learns a lesson.

On a side note, the new nazi temp Speaker ordered Nancy Pelosi to vacate her office. Stop complying when these pretend and unqualified magats place orders they do not have a right yo make! The temp Nazi Speaker apparently is only there to see a new Speaker elected. Not to dictate! He is not an elected Speaker!

Expand full comment
DonP's avatar

The speaker thing is a bit different. She was asked to give up her office in the Capitol building. Her office there is usually assigned to the Speaker Emeritus/Emerita. Since, like it or not, McCarthy is now the Speaker Emeritus, the office technically belongs to him, and the Office of the Speaker of the House, (the physical one) is now empty, though the current Speaker Pro-tem is using it.

She still has an office in one of the House buildings.

It's still a petty move to make the demand when she was attending Diane Feinstein's funeral. But then petty is pretty much how all Republicans can be described.

It’s not clear he has the authority to do so as a temp just sitting in to find a new speaker. But the next speaker would do so anyway. The fact that Nancy P was attending a funeral while they decided this is just par for the course. We will remove them!

He should be hanging his attorneys by their ankles as they're the ones who overlooked the always-present box to check for jury trial or bench trial. I think Habba has a look on her face like she's been raked over the coals off camera for it. One of the biggest crimes is what they're reluctant to do in fear of jeopardizing the safety of everyone on Trump's opposite side. Never has any defendant gotten away with as much public endangering and threats than Trump has. He's like a ticking bomb every second and everywhere he goes.
