And just imagine, these turnips are the GOP Mensa group.

...technically McConnell has all the brains. Notice the less active he is, the dumber they get? I suspect once he finally goes to Turtle Hell, we're going to start seeing fewer clever manoeuvres from the GQP.

I feel such a deep sense of personal shame that these homonculi that are serving in the Senate. And it gets even more worser down to the school boards and sheriffs. I love so much about this country. But holy fucking pajamas, Batman, this Republican nonsense is all just utter shite and the unreconstructed racists and troglodytes are lapping it up and asking for more.

I totally agree. I just read Robert Reich's "Is Trump a Fascist"? and it is chilling. The more indictments Trump garners up, the more his sick base thinks he is doing it for them."I am your retribution", he says. To think our "Greatest Generation" went to war to stop the hideousness and cruelty of fascism 2 generations ago and it is rearing it's ugly head today with TFG as it's strongman and spokesman is beyond belief.

Has Sen. Johnson registered as a foreign agent for Putin yet? And Sen. Blackburn is proof you don’t have to have a measurable IQ to be elected.

Not to argue vocabulary, but Marsha Marsha Marsha doesn’t have two brain cells in that empty hair stand she calls a head, let alone a measurable iq!lol

Also proof that you wouldn't need lab rats to demonstrate the toxicity of years of cheap hairspray use.

Sheesh...Ron Johnson. He is in office for the WI billionaires and the "regular joe" keeps voting for him. Is there something in the water or what?

HOW can people so consistently vote against their own interests?

Expand full comment

Too many either vote against their self interest or simply don’t vote. Combine that with voter suppression and gerrymandering and you get a very broken system.

We are in our infancy (don’t expect too much) however, some very positive developments are in the works. It is a powerful and important concept. Thank you!!!

"It was not desirable that the proles should have strong political feelings. All that was required of them was a primitive patriotism which could be appealed to whenever it was necessary to make them accept longer working hours or shorter rations. And even when they became discontented, as they sometimes did, their discontent led nowhere, because, being without general ideas, they could only focus it on petty specific grievances. The larger evils invariably escaped their notice."

And supposing not everyone is familiar with it, I should credit the quote - George Orwell, Nineteen Eighty-Four

This ‘fictional’ Orwellian strategy is the political playbook for rising populist political groups globally. Outside of the USA most successfully in Orwell’s United Kingdom. Thanks largely to Rupert Murdoch’s postwar mass media control machine continuing to create hate fuelled culture conflicts by playing upon the suffering of those exploitated by the deregulated capitalist ruling class he is a member of. Carpetbaggers All.

Jeff, you’re the best!

Really? When was that? Because I remember using the same term to describe our web design clients back in the late nineties. Twitter didn’t come onto the scene until 2006.

OK OK GQP MENSA rejects......if Mr. Weiss is not fit to be SC after all the teeth gnashing by the select group of GQP Mensa rejects, well I say let’s get a proven SC who really knows investigating... how about John Durham, the guy who spent several years investigating, brought charges in 2 instances and lost both🥴 Yeah that’s the fucking ticket, cause we all do care that only the best chicken fried fuck up John Durham is qualified to investigate, Amiright?

Thank you Jeff for bringing this to our attention (or mine at least). I had no idea that these letters were written by those amoebas. Exposing them makes my day!

Our big problem is the media’s greedy attack on our humanity. Right wing NOT news organizations are raking in the bucks by lying to their stupefied zombie audience that believes and repeats every word they say. The evil blend of propaganda based on hatred, racism, conspiracies and science fiction has completely taken over their nervous systems. As a result they have become stuck in fight and dissociation. The media is not exposing the kinds of helpful things that Jeff writes about, it continues to perpetuate the lies and hypocrisy for it’s own profit.

1. How do we stop or intervene in the media’s hold on our country?

2. How do we insist that our state governments refuse to put traitors on the ballot in the upcoming elections?

3. How do we secure our right to view the trial of the indicted criminal orange dictator wannabe?

😫🤬

Maybe keep trying to be interviewed on Fox News and have it out with them. It's possible we can convince state legislators based on the insurrection clause. I don't think it needs to be televised. It just needs to be over and Trump serve time.

If Fox "News" doesn't point it out to them, their listeners won't know anything about it.

The Senate dipshit caucus is at it again. Caught red-handed by their own signatures. I know telephone poles with a higher IQ than Marsha Blackburn. Does the FSB pay Ron Johnson weekly or bi-weekly? Ted Cruz: Well, he pretty much speaks for himself.🤮

Not policies, legislation that provides money to accomplish improvements.

A policy is an idea, a rule.

Legislation gets things done by financing the policy.
