unfortunately, I don't think Dark Brandon's on our side when it comes to expanding the Court

All of Scump’s judicial nominees should be considered suspect and voided because of his criminal behavior and history.

Plus, at least four of those fkers LIED under oath about Roe v. Wade being settled law during their confirmation hearings. IMPEACH THEM!

We need the House and a whole lot more D seats in the Senate to get that impeachment/conviction thing to occur.

If we’re going to start impeaching, & a heart attack hasn’t already taken him by then, start with Thomas. He seems to be the most corrupt, bribery wise; plus having an insurrectionist for a wife. Then every one of the fkrs who lied about Roe. Those last 2 that were confirmed, & I was watching, I just knew they were lying about that. I could just see the glimmer in her eyes that she could barely wait to throw it out. All 6 of those conservatives are bad, but I guess the least disgusting is Roberts.

I just can’t believe we’re in this horrible situation!! 🤬🤬🤬

Absolutely! The corruption in the SC is frighteningly real and shocking. These justices are as corrupt as their great leader . When Joe Biden wins reelection, the number of justices to serve will hopefully be expanded to serve the People, not a dictator bent on vengeance whose only wish is to benefit himself.

That we have had a Republican appointed and therefore led SCOTUS like forever (John Roberts) we have a long-term problem getting worse with open corruption of the GOP in all strips.

Agreed. I also would like the attorneys to hypothetically pose the question of whether Donald Trump or the hypothetical former president, or the current president can kill the members of the Supreme Court if he does not like their rulings. I really think that forget the hypothetical kill political opponent, how about kill the Supreme Court justices. We have to get them thinking about how this decision will affect them personally!

And Treacherous-treasonous-tantruming-traitor-Trump and his criminal machine stole the election in 2016 with the help of Red State Republicans who threw people off the voting roles, and gerrymandered so that seats which should have been democratic were not, so all of his appointments should be scrutinized.

Indeed. And Russian money, to Super PAC like McConnell as reported and also the actual members like Ron Johnson or Rand Paul. And now, today 5/8, we have the warped and willing Speaker Johnson ready and willing to dismantle our laws and cases. Not what the founders had in mind. Great write up on Thom Hartmann today as well spelling it out and making me feel like being an activist.

I would like to see a real investigation into Kavanaugh take place. That would get rid of him. Then I’d like someone to sue the government because Obama wasn’t allowed to seat a Justice nine months before an election but Trump was allowed three weeks before an election. That should get rid of Barrett. And just f*cking jail Thomas for any one of dozens of things. Badda-bing Badda-boom…normalcy reins.

I don’t think he’d veto a bill from Congress to appoint 1 SCOTUS per appellate court if it arrived on his desk. Or term limits, which is another way around this b.s. And by 2022 he was supporting a pro-democracy work-around for the filibuster, but of course Manchin was having too much fun with his 15 minutes of fame to support democracy.

Everyone who truly wants to make major changes really should get the audiobook of “Allow Me to Retort - A Black Guy’s Guide to the Constitution” by Elie Mystal. Or listen to his 8 episode podcast “Contempt of Court”

It covers some of the main things we can do to rein them in & check their power. He says people always bring up term limits, but that is the least likely way, because their lifetime service is in the Constitution & I’m sure we all know that an amendment would be nearly an impossibility & take yrs to accomplish.

Remember the Equal Rights Amendment? It’s been decades & has still never been ratified by the requisite number of states.

The Dems need to have The House and the Senate. Then they can move to impeach Clarence Thomas. He should be removed permanently. I believe he said that he would recuse himself on hearings related to Trump because of his wife's envolvement in Jan. 6.

Yeah, but that was first term stance. Biden won't have two fucks left to give if he is re-elected and I think he will definitely expand the court. It should be 15 members, not just 13 (yeah, I know there are 13 federal circuits). Fifteen is more inline with other western democracies' supreme courts.

I like Elie Mystal’s recommendation of expanding the court to 29 & then we could have 3 panels of 9 hearing cases , much more efficient, hear more cases, etc. I like it

agreed- because Dark Brandon still hasn't gotten rid of Merrick Garland who has continued to fail us and

Dark Brandon still hasn't replaced Louis Dejoy, who is planning to fail us again. Dark Brandon isn't going to save us, unfortunately so I guess he's not so dark after all.

Biden cannot replace DeJoy! Only the PO governing board can. Biden filled vacancies ( I think 2), but the board has not voted to remove DeJoy. Biden is following the law.

Yesterday, my mail carrier was going off about how much letter carriers hate Dejoy. They are required to work at Amazon's warehouse on Sundays without overtime pay. Many have quit. He threatened to quit and because they are short staffed they told him he only has to work one Sunday a month. He is fucking pissed.

The clock is ticking on the ‘current’ constitution. I believe it just may blow up this November as this bullshit becomes so fucking normalized as if ‘oh well just another day’. The federalist society and evangelical christians will amend it to include all the things that are currently illegal to suit their fuhrer and America will exist in name only.

This current scotus is already ignoring the constitution!!! 14A Sec3 & now are considering criminal immunity which is definitely not provided for in the constitution. At a minimum they will do whatever necessary to delay to benefit DT even more than they’ve already done. idk how much more bending & breaking that document can take.
