Me, too. I learned in an assertiveness training class decades ago that if there’s anything getting in the way of one’s intention, address it first. It’s a great way to communicate, a metamessage (communicating about communication). I'm with you. And, to be honest, I'd say that 90% of the comments I've seen on social media, where the real opinions (for good or ill) lie are pretty much, "One debate does not a campaign make."
