the media needs to cut this shit out right now
The Narrative needs a horse race, so they're inventing one
the worthless scribblers of the corporate-controlled media are relentless in their wicked fuckery.
the days-long Biden is decrepit feeding frenzy has been fun for these feckless fuckfaces, but they know that the public’s interest in even the juiciest blather eventually grows cold. it’s not enough for the press to keep rehashing the same old he coughed, he looks old bullshit — so to keep the rabble from moving on to the next shiny object, the media’s crossed the border into making shit up territory.
they’re inventing controversy, because it’s a sure-fire way of stoking the outrage-furnace.

the Biden family is at Camp David this weekend — just to hang out and unwind. it’s been on their calendar for over a week — since well before the debate.
that wasn’t good enough for NBC, though. boring old family hangouts don’t generate clicks, so here we go — NBC is spinning it as an emergency gathering hastily called to discuss the future of Biden’s campaign.
WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden is expected to discuss the future of his re-election campaign with family at Camp David on Sunday, following a nationally televised debate Thursday that left many fellow Democrats worried about his ability to beat former President Donald Trump in November, according to five people familiar with the matter.
five people? what five people? NBC doesn’t say. in fact, they don’t even bother with the “spoke under conditions of anonymity because…” disclaimer that’s become de rigueur with this kind of reporting — the article is just one whispered allegation from an unnamed quote-unquote “source” after another.
one actual source who NBC puts a name to is a Biden advisor who calls out NBC on their bullshit.
Anita Dunn, one of Biden’s handful of closest advisers, said on MSNBC’s “The Weekend” Saturday that Biden has not discussed dropping out of the race with aides and that internal talks have focused on moving forward.
“We had a bad debate,” Dunn said. “What do we do next? You know, the president, above all, is focused on what do we do next? What do I need to go do?”
but facts don’t matter. the international media got their Narrative and they took it and fucking ran.

we’ve been focused on The New York Times nepo-publisher AG Sulzberger’s snit-fit jihad against Joe Biden, but let’s not forget that the Washington Post has been committing their own journalistic atrocities as well.
“How an aging Biden and his advisers locked in a decision to run again”
an “aging” Biden. hey, know who else is aging? Little Donny Fuckface is aging. know who else? you and me — and everybody on the planet. we’re all aging, every second of every day.
sticking ‘aging’ in that headline is just a gratuitous cheap shot.

hey, look everyone! I found the most-useless take in the universe, from Politico.
pro tip: for Joe Biden: the next time you’re out in public, just slather a half gallon fluorescent tangerine makeup all over your face. you’ll look all manly and shit.
seriously, does the author of this piece think that’s a real tan? do they really not know that Donny Convict tarts himself up like a rodeo clown before going out in public? did a Make America Great Again cap write this article?
Politico is famous for their unserious, Tiger-Beat-on-the-Potomac reporting, but this story breaks new ground in playground perspectives.
in a world of NBCs and Washington Posts, be a Philadelphia Inquirer.
Lost in the hand wringing was Donald Trump’s usual bombastic litany of lies, hyperbole, bigotry, ignorance, and fear mongering. His performance demonstrated once again that he is a danger to democracy and unfit for office.
In fact, the debate about the debate is misplaced. The only person who should withdraw from the race is Trump.
Trump, 78, has been on the political stage for eight years marked by chaos, corruption, and incivility. Why go back to that?
thank you, Philly Ink, for being the first and only major newspaper to call for the 88-count convicted felon and adjudicated rapist to drop out of the race.
in the earliest draft of this post, my headline was “the media needs to cut this unproductive shit out right now.”
then I realized — no, this shit isn’t unproductive at all. it’s very productive — for the media.
the media needs a horserace. Joe Biden ahead of convicted felon in the polls — which is the state of the race right now, even after the debate — is a boring story, and so controversy must be created.
by the way, they did this same shit with the email lady back in 2016. Hillary coughed, and the entire media reacted as if she were already dead.
now let’s all take a deep breath. here’s an expert, come to talk us all down off the ledge.
historian Allan Jay Lichtman knows his shit. he’s invented a scientific model for predicting the outcome of a presidential election — and since 1984, he’s only been wrong once in naming the winner.
when Lichtman talks, we all should listen.
Lichtman: “all of these pundits and pollsters and analysts that you see on all the cable channels, and the networks, have no track record in predicting elections — yet they come on and they claim that they know how this debate is going to affect the outcome of an election. they have no idea. it’s sports talk radio. it may be entertaining but there’s no scientific basis.”
CNN: “so what is the impact [of the debate], do you think?”
Lichtman: “zero. debates are not predictive of outcomes. Hillary Clinton won all three debates. still lost. John Kerry won all the debates. still lost. Barack Obama got trounced, 72 to 20 percent in the poll — worse than Biden — and went on to win.”
look, I’m a realist. one bad outing does not a disaster make.
if Joe Biden stumbles in public a second time, I’ll start worrying.
three times, and I’ll run around with my hair on fire and scream as loudly as everyone else.
but above all: one ninety-minute poor performance does not erase three-and-a-half years of a successful presidency.
so right now, let’s stay the fucking course.
if you only read five lines of today's post, make it the final five lines
NYT’s Headline: “We demand that Trump step down. We’ve had enough lies, rapes, felonies. This man is a threat to national and international security”. There, like that. Let me write that editorial for you.
