When do we get to see congressional people indicted for their roles in Jan. 6th. There's a whole bunch of them that wee involved.

Rick Calegari's avatar

The pardon seeking traitors are still flinging their endless pile of bullshit in order to protect their deranged criminal leader and to continue controlling spineless McCarthy with a firm grip on his puppet strings. Hopefully those pending well deserved indictments for the treasonous plotters and enablers will be soon to follow.

Sköll's avatar

As God is my witness, I will never ever forget that priceless Tiedrichism, "Kevin 'Chew Toy' McCarthy" \o/

Morgaine Swann's avatar

I'd like to know that, too. These traitors are still voting on legislation and gumming up the works. They need to go.

Gini Kramer's avatar

I'm glad I'm not young anymore.

Babette's avatar

OMG! Same here! I really feel for the youth. It's going to be brutal, already is with climate change and guns everywhere. If we lose our democracy, we are toast.

Gail Bauman's avatar

Not me - oh to BE YOUNG AGAIN. I'd be on the front lines, fighting this bullshit with the energy of my youth.

Margaret's avatar

I already did that.

My only regret is I’m still not in law enforcement. Back in my day, things were a hell of a lot different than they are today.

A. Gugglianni, Frumpy’s head of his pecker, wouldn’t be allowed on a stage, in front of a microphone, or breathing, much.

B. Governor Asswipe would be strung up by his short hairs. He’s killing people, innocent people, and getting away with it! This isn’t the first that’s died because of his stupidity, and greed to keep people from trying to seek better lives. What about the child that drowned a couple weeks ago, and it’s mother snd brother that went in to try to get the chime, which were never found. Or the child the trooper pushed back into the water, which drowned and was never found. All this was due to Asswipes orders!

Musky. Ohhh Musky. The grown man that’s hit a face fit for a ‘long tube’, a ‘dog attached to a man’. What a fool. This clown is so eccentric that he’s trying to outdo everyone in the stupid department. He’s wasted billions on his ‘Twitter-X’ experiment. He’s ruined the lives of every employee he’s got, or had, working there. And he’s running all his patrons off of there with his idiotic, stupid, rules. Which make no sense whatsoever.

No, this is an entirely different country than it was in the 70s-90s. Way different. I truly feel sorry for the generations that are behind us that will have to try to run this country.

Oh wait, that’s not going to be a problem. If Frumpy’s reelected, he’s going to turn this into a Dictatorship! There’s No Democracy, no Constitution, no more elections, no state governments. Everyone, and all government agencies will be answering to the Dictator, Donald J, Frumpy, the Orange headed, Pursed lipped, overweight, slob!

RV maxima's avatar

Or even acceptable as a candidate!

No way my fathers or WW2/Korean War vets would have considered him anything but an assclown.

Yep, the world here changed with"trickle down economics" and " free market" BS and worsened with NAFTA and good old Newt making Congress a casino. Players in creating pay for play K street lobbyists, Stone Manafort plus 2 others, one dead confessing on his deathbed that his political games were a fraud. It certainly took a few decades for others like The Lincoln Project to come around publicly. I guess it was OK to sell off the democracy as long as it didn't smell too bad. Like the Grifter BS king...too late but at least thanks for having the courage & not being an empty sack and admitting it. Finally.

Daniel L. Cooper's avatar

You reminded me of a lot I had forgotten, RV. My dad, along with every WW2/Korean War Veteran are flipping in their graves at the shenanigans going on today in Washington.

RV maxima's avatar

A guy saying you can grab them by the....yeah, that guy is an AssHole, my dad would say. I can hear him still. So many honorable men.

Daniel L. Cooper's avatar

I remember a lot of my dad’s sayings like that, too.

Lorraine Parish's avatar

Me too. I read that very comments more everyday, everywhere

Mary Virginia Hughes's avatar

I say that all the time now. And in my case I add "and that I have no children." Though they'd be getting pretty long in the tooth themselves about now, at least not kids anymore, but they have children.

Gini Kramer's avatar

I have one son, but he's middle-aged and has no kids. So I have no genetic skin in the game.

Sköll's avatar

I think I agree. I manage 6 of those kiddos in an IT world, but my term ends at end of this week. It was a pleasure developing their skills and talents and watching them grow fast. But it is true, they are so different from us old timers. But it is their world now, just as it once was ours :D

Isn’t it dumbfounding that there are people who can’t tell the difference between a raging, disgusting, lying POS and a regular person? All these brain dead and deluded republican voters have been unable, since the beginning, to see the obvious - trump, the inflated fake loser dead beat, on the apprentice - followed up by years of Fuks NOT news fueling the cult with more and more and more propaganda. The rest of us who are sane, immediately could see and smell the bad news coming from a million miles away. Have all these lemmings lost their gut instincts and survival skills? They are going to destroy us all if given the opportunity.

Elisabeth Iler's avatar

Sarah, beautifully put. VOTE BLUE in 2024 in every election, local, state and federal. Dog catcher elections too!

Lorraine Parish's avatar

I have been told that there are people who can and cannot be hypnotized. Obviously the Magats can. They have hated us all the lives and this is their revenge for trying to make them better people. They will never change. We have to so out vote them in 2024. Another thing which would be effective is to boycott every single advertiser and their parent company on Fox.

RV maxima's avatar

And getedia companies to stop billing for Fox.

5his Samsung fold phone has the worst keyboard/autocorrect.

Often changes after visual confirmation.

Sheesh

RV maxima's avatar

While this maybe true self-centered profit driven oil companies and delusional FOX media owners think nothing can touch them so create a smoke screen to hide behind. The authoritRian/now conservative mind does not recognize the danger.

Abbott should be arrested for depraved indifference. And Musk? Aside from being another narcissist billionaire he is a “fee” speech absolutist. Free speech? -Not so much.

Lorraine Parish's avatar

How about wrongful death?

George A. Polisner's avatar

Yes, free speech for Musk. Fee speech for everyone else.

RV maxima's avatar

Indeed Ala Omar from The Wire!

Openly Fae's avatar

Le sigh. Times like these, you wonder if the bad guys don't win every round.

Ghouliani and Drumpf may well have one foot in the legal grave, but rampaging box of cocks Musk is as free and clear from the consequences of his actions as Drumpf was at the same age. Provided he never tries an insurrection, he will likely go forever unpunished as well.

Plutocracy? Oligarchy? Kakistocracy? Who even knows any more?

Flaming ghetto dumpster fire.

Elisabeth Iler's avatar

Endless, I like your comment except for the last sentence. How about “Flaming dumpster fire.”?

Openly Fae's avatar

Or New Coke. Whichever.

RV maxima's avatar

World wide increase in billionaires and an increase in inequality & fascism.

No coincidence

Openly Fae's avatar

The sooner we stop using money the sooner the billionaires lose their power.

RV maxima's avatar

At least for political speech

Jacquie Burke's avatar

“Rampaging box of cocks” 😆. Your comment was spot on!

Openly Fae's avatar

The rhyme always made me prefer it over "bag of dicks."

It’s (past) time to start taxing billionaires out of existence.

So we came close. It is 11:35am. The sun is shining brightly. The groceries delivered at 9 came with a complimentary Rice Krispies treat. The neighbour came over to help patch up some scratches on the Kia. Coffee's hot, dog's asleep on his cushion. Peace. Email. And then...and then... "shitty...things." What a relief! I was already getting scared. But we're back to normal. Whew, close!

Neal Stiffelman's avatar

Hard to just keep rocking little Donny fuckface when there are soooooo many others deserving of contempt and imprisonment. But here we are and he is the face of all this. No longer is it Stalin, Mao, Mussolini, Hitler... it’s that guy. Then the evil horde. Deus ex machina, crush them.

Songgirl Kim's avatar

Too many shitty things out there. Thanks for keeping us informed, Jeff. I’m gonna go water my garden and then read a book. Peace to you all.

I suspect more shittiness to follow today as indictment season warms up.

Mary Virginia Hughes's avatar

Elon is Donald Trump, just younger and richer. And thank goodness he can't run for the presidency.

Lairbo's avatar

He's eerily like Trump, who started out as a loudmouth rich guy who bought and wrecked things and blurted out crazy shit to the delight of a media eager for content.

Mary Virginia Hughes's avatar

Elon was quieter younger but not apparently to his first wife to whom he showed he was going to be an insufferable prick at their wedding reception when he told her their family would be patriarchal. Then he set about trying to change her, just like Trump, into a blonde big boobed chicklet for an arm piece. I can't stand him either.

Lairbo's avatar

In recent articles chronicling Giuliani's Fall From Grace, it's presented as gospel that he was a popular and effective NYC mayor, admired even by people who disagreed with him. This is bullshit. What I remember most about his time as mayor were his weekly-or-so press conferences in which he loudly denounced some city council member who'd opposed something he wanted done. This usually included shouty threats of opening a homeless shelter in their district. If you were a millionaire or a high-ranking NYC police official then, yeah, it was the best of times. For everybody else, not so much. By the time he was leaving office, nobody in New York outside of his inner circle was sorry to see him go. And, worth remembering especially now, after 9/11 (the day of a primary election for his successor), he tried to extend his mayoralty by postponing the election to allow him to stay in office.

RV maxima's avatar

Was the ghoul involved in the Hardhat riot for antiwar protesters?

RV maxima's avatar

Nothing like some reruns while waiting for an indictment!

Thank you!

Fastball Fredo's avatar

Donald today says he wants more indictments, they increase his fan base.. Who says shit like this? John Gotti? Members of the Genovese family? Al Capone? El Chapo? I mean WTF!!!

I’m going to have to learn not to read on an empty stomach bc I’m gagging at the grossness of the entire situation and all the ugly tentacles that attach to TFG. 🤢

Giuliani and Trump are two scumbags in a pod.

Lorraine Parish's avatar

How about. Trump Giuliani and Bannon, three men in a sinking tub.
