600,000 Virginians voted against The Criminal yesterday. 435,000 voted for him. The NYT is reporting, no doubt, why that's bad for Biden.

Let's grow and nationalize that margin.

NYT and every other corporate media outlet longs for an extraordinarily expensive campaign. I believe that the greed of corporate media is the driving force behind much of the disinformation and division in the country. Why deflate false narratives when they make for competitive political contests…and competitive political contests make for higher media spending.

Here’s another story the press isn’t reporting: in state after state where republican voters are NOT all in for Trump, why is congress in lock step? Where are the follow-the-money gumshoes when you need them? Ghost of Deep Throat, if you’re listening please do a deep dive into the bank-account less Speaker, the congress people who’ve racked up Air Putin frequent flyer miles, and the payer-offer of Kavanaugh’s mortgage. It would be a great start into a true look at what the fuck is going on in East Russia, formerly known as the USA.

East Russia!! Perfect. On a side note, can MAGAs send mail-in ballots for Putin in his upcoming staged "election"? Surely a registered MAGA is at the very least an honorary Russian.

Sinema's betrayal of her constituents and the Democratic party that brought her to the dance was unreal. Total nightmare - voting rights, etc. lost. Her betrayal of her party was like looking up from the ledge, hanging by one's fingertips. Along comes Krysten Sinema, you inhale deeply, using all your strength to yell, "Krysten, over here. Thank God you found me!" And instead of running over and reaching down with a saving hand, she saunters over and smirks, "I can't be bought." while crushing your fingertips under her Doc Martens. Well, now it's our turn. Bye, bitch!

However, more than likely, she can now officially be a lobbyist for some society harming industry, maybe big pharma, maybe oil and coal, maybe all of the above. She no longer needs to hide in the shadows.

Regardless, I'm guessing it won't be long before Kari Lake joins Aileen Cannon in the "I want to be the next Mrs. Donald Trump" contest ("The Prison Apprentice's Wife -coming this fall on NBC?")

While drunk driving is at best inadvisable, and at worst, as stupid as Marjorie Taylor Greene, if America continues to embrace drunk voting, we're going to have to turn in all of our nuclear weapons to a more responsible country. France just enshrined Women's reproductive rights in their Constitution (granted, we no longer care about any of the silly amendments to ours, especially none before or after the 2nd Amendment), perhaps France should hold on to our nukes until someone has a chance to hit Control-Alt-Delete and reboot the United States (and set the willfully ignorant flag to 'No."

Those who worship the Toddler King will continue to worship him no matter what. As for the NYT, the fine people of New York have had 77 years of the disgraceful and repulsive Donald. He has not turned over any new leaves. In fact his tree is rotten up through the trunk and it is going to fall over in the next bad storm which is coming soon.

I hope that Haley doesn't stoop so low as to approve Trump. Did he ever say anything nice about her after 2020? Like Liz Cheney, she is tagged as a female RINO. The Republicans are real good at condemning women. The GOP is not grand in any way now that it is the party of Trump and nothing but. Don't like it, you're out.

A true American horror story named Donald Trump. I look for him to lose the popular vote much worse than in 2016 and 2020 on my 73rd birthday November 5, 2024. He is already repeating the scam "rigged election" talk from the last time and will cry and scream about how unfair it is that the Supreme Ruler of the Universe is not universally adored.

Expand full comment
Steve B's avatar

BIG differences from 2020 and 2021: he will not be an incumbent, so all of his screaming and whining can be ignored; everyone will be ready for his MAGAts from November 5th on, especially on January 6th, January 20th, and throughout 2025 until he dies; his criminal trials WILL continue despite his claims that they're all about "election interference," and he will be convicted and go to prison where he belongs, again, until he dies. The rest of his miserable life is not pretty, and he brought it ALL on himself -- a slow, years-long suicide.
