I had been living in Mexico maybe for two weeks and besides Faux News there was only CNN. It became clear as a bell one morning that half of our problem was the media. Suddenly I saw CNN as not a news company we could rely upon as a truthful news source but as another platform for what essentially are enemies of the state, enemies of democracy. I called a few of my activist friends back in Massachusetts and said, "Holy shit guys, it's the fucking press, all of it." Most did not believe me at first but they sure as shit do now. I hate I told you so's, but I told you so!
