We are exactly the same Democrat! I found in the past two months or so, that my phone automatically sends all political texts to spam and blocks the number. I didn't ask for it to do that, but I was VERY happy to find out that it was. It blocked texts from Chuck Schumer, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Hakeem Jeffries, Kamala Harris, and many more. Don't need it. Don't want it. I also don't participate in polls or petitions because all it's going to do is generate more junk mail; paper and electronic. And yet, I WILL NOT vote for anyone who ISN'T a Democrat. The constant "polls" are absolute bullshit!
Weirdly enough, I subscribed to NYT to keep an eye on what kind of skeezy behavior Orange Dumpster was up to! And yeah, I don't do polls either, and will always vote blue. I did have to unsubscribe to a few Dems, because of the panic-mongering, too.
I’m keeping my subscription to the nyt. The Trump horseshit is a piece I ignore and the rest of their reporting is excellent. (See the series on homelessness recently). Also I doubt readers are swayed about the orange gibbon.

And also for the NYT link where they continue to hammer on their crappy poll (and rarely fail to make me incandescent with rage over their headlines and stated takeaways). I've been reading its readers' excellent comments for 15 minutes (shrieking with delight, BTW, they are perfect) and haven't run across one that doesn't laud Biden. Most are pointing the finger back at NYT for how they are pushing the narrative they have been (e.g., "Gee, I wonder how there could be just 'tepid enthusiasm' for Biden, when for months the media has been hammering home the idea that he's too old and too infirm"). I'm ready to set alarms to comment for the next time, since the comments are always closed by the time I get there. I think these commenters had the same idea. The pushback is beautiful.
