It's also why Twitter can turn off, oh sorry, "cancel", your speech at it's whims, because you agreed to abide by its "Terms of Service", which state what you can and cannot post. Don't like it? Stay off Twitter. And Facebook, and Instagram, and any other social media platform for that matter. Heck, include any website whatsoever with a set of terms of service.
Just like when you're driving. If you try driving on a PRIVATE road, you agree that the owner has the right to stop you and basically do whatever they feel like. Hopefully that starts and ends with having you charged with trespassing.
