Jim Jordan is an unserious dipshit and even Fox News won't air his stupid hearings
pity Jim Jordan. no wait, don’t pity Jim Jordan
pity Jim Jordan. no wait, don’t pity Jim Jordan. the loathsome shouty half-dressed degenerate wrestling coach is getting exactly what he deserves.
Gymmy Jay couldn’t wait to grab the spotlight. it was all he dreamed about for months. he wanted it so bad he could taste it. he was going to air every grievance. he was going to wreak revenge. he was going to get back at all the shitheads who dared impeach Dear Leader. he was going to get back at those vile fuckers who dared to subpoena him. oh those fuckers. they were going to rue the day they tangled with Decibel Jim. oh, were they going to be sorry. The Jiminator was going to make them sorry.
and then came Shirtsleeve Jimmy’s Big Day. assemble the panel. turn on the lights. roll the cameras. let’s do this thing!
and the media treated him exactly the way he treated the wrestlers who were sexually assaulted under his watch: they looked the other way.
even Fox News wasn’t having any of his stupid bullshit.
Fox didn’t carry Jordan’s inaugural “weaponization of the federal government” hearing, even though some of their stars were testifying for the GOP. “We’ll get back into it for anything newsworthy,” anchor John Roberts said after showing a brief clip. There wasn’t anything newsworthy, just a bunch of cranks airing their long lists of grievances and being embarrassed by the Democrats on the panel.
this is what happens when you live inside the Wingnut Grievance Bubble. no one out in the real world gives one fuck about “the weaponization of the federal government.” no one out in the real world knows what the fuck that even means. no one out in the real world gives a fuck about ThE tWiTtEr FiLeS. no one out in the real world wants to see Hunter Biden’s dick.
live inside the Wingnut Grievance Bubble long enough and even Fox News loses interest. ratings, after all, are ratings.
living inside the Wingnut Grievance Bubble also causes you to go on live TV and speak in code that no sane person understands. per Paul Krugman on Sarah Sanders’s State of the Union rebuttal:
It was remarkable that Sanders spoke largely in right-wing insider jargon. She boasted of eliminating C.R.T. in her state, without even explaining the abbreviation; how many Americans know that it stands for “critical race theory,” let alone why that’s supposed to be such a bad thing?
let me leave you with Shouty Jim admitting that his whole argument is based on bullshit.
