Just canceled it! Not painful. As my crazy friend said about Costco last week, "Go Woke, Go Broke", even though she would never put her money where her mouth is. My motto: Go trump, YOU FLUNK! (I'll see myself out).

She happens to be my sister (I couldn't bring myself to say it earlier). We are very close, but never, NEVER discuss politics although we both slip in a zinger here and there. I can't dump her. My two sisters are all I have. I hope they will see the light as trump begins dismantling the country and the rest of the globe, but I ain't holding my breath.

You aren’t alone, my one remaining sister, & all my nieces, nephews, & cousins are all Republicans & trump voters except for 1 nephew & his wife. It’s really difficult. I haven’t actually spoken to my sister other than a brief text or 2 in almost a year. The last time I spoke on the ph with one maga nephew I ended up crying & yelling at him, asking him how he could vote to take away my rights & more importantly, his daughters rights?!?!

Well, I dumped my only sibling, because he stole at least half my inheritance. It's only been 12 years since this happened. This was most of my retirement. If he doesn't want to listen to my financial advice, I can't help him. I'm the one with a 44 year marriage, no debt, a paid off house, still more than him in savings, two EVs, solar, and retired. He's 71 and working.

My heart hurts for you. Our sisters are (if we’re lucky!) dear indeed. You have much strength to hang in there ❤️
