Before 2016, I didn't pay much attention to politics, I focused on the economy because of my business. Then when trump won, I looked at video clips of his rallies and I was fucking floored! I lived in NYC in the seventies so I knew what a scumbag he was then, but his rallies freaked me out! My first thought was literally the movie "Invasion of the Body Snatches" had truly happened. I would say it only to have a good analogy to describe the shock of what I saw, but FUCK it seems truer now than ever. What has happened to these people? Mind control, bodily threats if they don't get behind the Fascist Machine? What?

I personally have never read an explanation that I thought was plausible. I think with these people there was always a screw loose and a lot of smoldering resentment stuffed down so they were perceived as normal, but something happened which I truly believe the internet is responsible for.
