“look what you made me do” is classic abuser’s language. it’s your own fucking fault that I went ape-shit on you.

that’s the attitude Republicans took on the Sunday shows, as they explained how it was Zelensky’s own fault that he got ambushed and tag-teamed by Donny Convict and Couchfuck McGee: look at what he made them do.

he should have shown deference. he shouldn’t have talked back. he shouldn’t have been dressed provocatively. he shouldn’t have been out walking alone late at night.

here’s Tulsi Gabbard, doing what she does best: mouthing Putin’s talking points.

what the fuck is Tulsi gibbering about, ‘Zelensky’s immediate escalation’? Zelensky walked into a trap that was set by Donny and Vance. they were the aggressors. we all saw it happen.

George Orwell’s line from 1984 about “the Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears” has been used to death in the last month, but can you blame any of us for continuing to trot it out?

meanwhile, Donny’s National Security Advisor Mike Waltz is super fucking steamed that Zelensky didn’t show proper deference to Dear Leader.

“coming to the Oval Office with the body language, the shaking of head, the arms crossed — we just found it incredibly disrespectful.”

I mean, seriously. Waltz has a valid point. what kind of truculent fuckface sits with his arms crossed when meeting with world leaders?

House Speaker Holy Mike Johnson also jumped on the insufficient deference bandwagon.

“I’ve never seen anything like President Zelenskyy’s behavior there. he berated and interrupted his host, instead of expressing gratitude for the extraordinary help that the U.S. has provided his country.”

Holy Mike is so right. here’s the proper deferential body language to display when meeting with one’s superiors.

this is how you act when you’re in the presence of someone who has given you “extraordinary help.”

and again with this insufficient gratitude bullshit. do we need to play for Mike the CNN supercut of all the times Zelensky has thanked us for our help?

hey, did you know that the US is bound by a signed agreement to defend Ukraine? let’s let none other than Senator Marco Rubio explain why.

“when the Soviet Union fell in the early 1990s, Ukraine was left with the world’s third-largest stockpile of tactical nuclear weapons and strategic nuclear weapons on the planet. but they signed this agreement with the United States, the United Kingdom, and Russia that basically said, if you give up your nuclear weapons, we, these three countries that signed to this will provide for your defense, and assure you of your defense. and so, Ukraine did that. they gave up these weapons.”

that’s right, Marco Rubio fucking well knows that we have a responsibility to defend Ukraine — they’re the only country on the planet to have ever voluntarily given up a nuclear arsenal, and we owe them for doing that, forever.

no wonder Marco looked like he wanted to disappear into the couch, as he watched that agreement go fuckity-bye.

but wait, Holy Mike’s clownfuckery isn’t over. let’s move on to the subject of DOGE.

“I’ve met with Elon about this multiple times. we meet late into the night in his office and we’ve looked at that. what he’s finding with his algorithms crawling through the data of Social Security system is enormous amounts of fraud, waste, and abuse.”

first of all, what in the actual fuck? why the need for meeting ‘late into the night’? is that when the ketamine high is at is buzziest? get over yourselves.

I don’t know what the DOGE incels are doing with these alleged ‘algorithms’ but I one hundred percent guarantee they’re not finding ‘fraud, waste, and abuse.’ what they’re finding is shit they don’t understand, and can’t be bothered to learn about.

Republicans have been playing this look at all the government waste flimflam racket for decades. like clockwork, some dipshit will stand up in Congress, wave a pile of papers in the air and demand to know why the Pentagon is paying ten dollars for a bolt.

the answer is generally something perfectly reasonable, like ‘these are special high-stress bolts engineered so that fighters jets don’t shake themselves to pieces while flying at the speed of sound, and yeah, that’s what they cost to make’ — but the so-called cost-cutters aren’t interested in any explanations. they want you to believe that someone is going to Home Depot, buying boxes of hardware and then selling them to the Pentagon at a ten thousand percent markup — and that reducing spending is as simple as firing everyone responsible.

what the DOGE incels are doing right now is just a high-tech version of that.

and, above all, always remember that the Space Nazi’s definition of fraud is ‘someone who is not me is getting government money.’

oddly enough, Republicans aren’t blaming the wildfires on wokeness or DEI, this time. nor are they threatening to withhold aid until Governor McMaster agrees to some ideological list of demands. I guess wildfires are only a governor’s fault when the governor is a Democrat.

most notably, the Golfer-in-Chief isn’t demanding that South Carolina open up some ginormous fucking spigot and let that sweet, sweet water flow down from New Jersey.

in fact, Sundowning Grandpa Befuddlepants didn’t say one word about the South Carolina fires — he was too busy dancing it up at Motel-a-Lago, along with the Space Nazi and Crown Prince Snotwiper.
