YouTube is gonna be burning up screens all over the world with that trial. It'll be me going, "Shhhh. I'm watching my show!"

I’m old enough to have watched the Nixon Watergate hearings live. Trust this: When it hits the good parts periodically, they are really really good - like a bright sunlight suddenly emerging from a storm cloud.

I remember watching the Watergate hearings as well. At least those hearings had a modicum of courtroom decorum. I can’t wait for what the courtroom drama(circus?) is displayed in the upcoming trial(s)…….to be continued..

I was a teen and baby sitting in the country, and it was the only thing on and bored out of my scull because I was about as interested as a 14 year stuck in the boonies could be.

While it is great that the overt violent insurrectionists rot in prison hell, I am waiting for the GOP Senators and House Reps to be indicted, expelled, convicted, and barred from ever holding public office. And Navarro? He has insidious plans along with the fringe extremists at Heritage to facilitate GOP minority control of Federal government for generations.

The fringe movement (Project 2025) seeks to subvert the federal government and is just as dangerous as the overt violent insurrectionists now (thankfully) being convicted and imprisoned.

Whether you are focused on women's rights, race, climate, gun violence prevention, voting rights, immigration reform, wealth inequality, labor rights, anti-corruption initiatives, or more -we will lose EVERYTHING if we allow ourselves to be divided.

Yes, Project 2025. Thom Hartmann wrote a terrific piece this morning laying out the history and warning us of what may come.

I'm not clear on who isn't already divided. Seems pretty damn divided right now.

My concern is the center and the left. If were to remain at least loosely coalesced we might keep the possibility of democracy (someday) on the rails.

SCOTUS would look very different if we were on Hillary's second term right now. Clarence wouldn't even have to show up for work and could just party with Harlan and Ginni, the insurrectionist spouse. And Alito could spend his time drooling over legal precedent from the 1800's.

Their inability to get more than a few protesters to show up at the many arrests speaks volumes to me. MAGAs are all to addicted to their electronic screens to give it up. Hoping for someone else to revolution for them. Plus, those of the criminal persuasion among them are totally paranoid. For good reason. Boo fucking Hoo to them all.

I really think this is the best thing for the American people to view. Of course from what I hear the GOP sidecar of clowns said they didn’t watch the J6 hearings and if they did it didn’t make them stop being stupid. I can’t believe there’s any intelligence left amongst them.

It's good to see some justice, even though all of those seditious bastards should have gotten the maximum. Rudy has a cardboard sign at the freeway exit in his future. (What the Hell. It will keep him in vodka) Governor Brain Cramp did his imitation of a broken clock. The Georgia trials will be must see TV.

Right now, I suspect Governor Kemp is trying to keep all his options open. He wants to be a 'Donnie-Alternative', if not in 2024, than certainly in 2028. If Donnie Fuckface is a little closer to circling the drain in Georgia, and now that all the shenanigans will be SEEN, BK may just sit back and watch!

I know we’ve all been antsy waiting for justice to prevail, but I think in the long run it’s been worth the wait. These types of cases need to be airtight.

PS I’m not giving Kemp any more props. He signed that fucking law into existence.

Even Fox doesn't have the ability to spin this epic shit show and the upcoming perjury fest can't come any quicker. It will be interesting to see what phony theatrics the tangerine turd may attempt to use in an attempt to soften that well deserved blow that's coming.

I think it’s crucial to have the federal trials televised as well, especially the January 6 one. It is the most crucial trial in American history and we should be able to see it otherwise will be subject to the Spin Doctors from fox, etc..

Agreed. issues as large as the potential destruction of our democracy should be made available to the public to witness, on television, live - the entire proceedings. Both audio and video coverage make all the difference in the public’s understanding of the credibility of witnesses, and their understanding of the facts and the law.

Faux will do what they do regardless of facts. In the worst cases they have not broadcast events that are inescapably negative for their hosts (as in parasitic hosts).

The second worst instances are cherry-picked to provide the illusion of "reporting" but with the critical evidence missing, to be followed by hypothetical "questions" intended to misdirect their Rubes into drawing conclusions based on conjecture.

All of this is so good! High time for truth and consequences to prevail. I’m happy at least some of them like Baked Alaska and the Blubbering Not-So-Proud-Anymore Boys are seeing how wrong the MAGAt movement is - at least I hope they’re seeing that. Now if only my ex-friends would see it too and say “Lisa, you were right” Of course - I’m always right -wink **
