I was pleasantly surprised to see the WaPo call it like it was in its headline this morning. I haven't checked to see how the New York Times went about sanewashing the same appearance. But I also saw that Trump has pulled out of a 60 Minutes interview with Scott Pelley. Hmmm.

Because his handlers know that he would totally melt down.

OK, after I wrote this, I had to check the NYT to see how they handled it. They don't seem to have mentioned Trump's appearance at all. Kind of like when Fox doesn't post news they know their readers won't like.

The Post committed part of a journalism. This story reported on Who, What, Where, When and How. There were no Why questions. Reporters know better. But their editors must be telling their staff to not ask Donald WHY he says the stupid shit he says.

"Today Donald spoke the following falsehoods..."

"Donald falsely claimed 'They're eating the dogs!"

"Yesterday Donald stated..."

But look for the WHY DID HE SAY THIS? questions. And send a note to the reporters and ask them to start to ask WHY. Journalistic malpractice.

Read any story in the Washington Post, NYT or LA Times. The reporter usually covers the Five Ws and How. Who, What, When, Where, Why and How. Standard J-School training.

When Nikki and Joe dropped out of the race, reporters demanded to know the reasons WHY they decided to do that. Every other candidate is covered thoroughly. Except Donald.

Every day Donald proclaims 100 stupid lies and 100 stupid policy ideas and 100 insults. The reporters print the Who (Donald), the What (stupid words), the Where (where he was when he spoke the stupid words), the When (morning, day, night) and the How (Q&A, Twix post, Fox interview). But they fail to ask the WHY questions. It's like they avoid finding out the reasons for the lies and the insanity. Isn't that strange?

Breaking News:

Former President Trump falsely declared at the debate, "They are eating the dogs!"

No WHY questions.

The Emperor is Naked:

The Washington Post reported that yesterday morning the former President bragged about his new invisible golf outfit at Mar-A-Lago. He presented his new invisible clothes to reporters and photographers on the first tee box. A female member of the club cried out, "He's naked!" Trump ran back indoors and the crowd dispersed.

Do you think they would ask WHY?
