Gonif, lol. Yiddish is such a rich language about people who fuck around and find out.

I’m rich because I have thousands in Monopoly money. It’ll become real currency someday, I just know it.

Thank-you for pointing out another yiddish word I can add to my vocabulary, including mensch. 😊 How do you pronounce gonif? Is the accent on the 1st ot 2nd syllable? I want to sure to say it right!

I agree with you on just about everything… Except how to pronounce “gonif.” The first syllable should rhyme with “con.” My Yiddish-speaking father used the word often.
