Actually, thinking out loud Jeff -when you say "malignant narcissist" we know you mean Trump, but shouldn't there be something to disambiguate between Trump and Musk?

Fortunately, the distinction is Musk doesn't yet have his hands on governmental powers. And he cannot run for president. Though he could for other office. But he's made himself a pariah so it's hard to see exactly enough votes for him.

He's despicable in all the ways of humanity. He's done some amazing things in a life, that's for sure. But his downside is enormous and enormously repugnant. It didn't bother me one bit for him to be roundly booed on-stage in San Francisco and to be able to see that it did somewhat get to him and come as a surprise. On the other hand, he recovered from that quickly and quite nicely for him. Because he certainly hasn't suspended his awfulness. Looking around, who the hell wants to be a billionaire anyway? They all seem to be less than human when it comes to living in a world of other humans.

That is why I like the additional sociopath but then I learned recently that Musk removed the Ukraine's army from his StarLink satellite internet service...so back to they are both 2 useless inhuman fucks.

I do believe, as a retired therapist, that trump, at a minimum, has a raging personality disorder. He presents like the active alcoholics I have met: angry, petulant, blaming, manipulative, and running from the truth. It's hard for sober people to listen to him talk, without cringing. I can't stand the sound of his voice. It is interesting that his brother died from the effects of alcoholism. There are parallels. Trump has "judgment" and "insight," although not into his own behavior and whom it may harm. His insight and judgment have to do with maximizing the pain inflicted on and the damage he can cause to his "enemies." Like Nixon, he probably has a rich internal life, counting up his list of combatants. He is charismatic to the faithful. But he cares nothing for the human beings he solicits. They are just usable in the moment, to his own ends. And that qualifies as a trait of sociopathy.
