My first thought was that Buttigieg as Kamala's veep would be unbeatable. πŸ’™πŸ©΅πŸ’™πŸ©΅πŸ’™

In this crowd? Sure.

Out there among the Trump-sucking scuttlefish in *das Großes amerikanisches Kernland*? Not this year, that's for sure!

Oh, the MAGAts are beyond help!

I was talking about the "normal people"β€”the ones who voted for both Obama AND Trump, and then voted for Biden in 2020 because he was the more "reasonable" choice than Donnie Diapershit. They were inclined to vote for Biden in 2024 as well (unlike the Party Elites and MSM types, along with the Billionaire Donors!)...and for now, they're keeping their options open. Trump's getting more unhinged by the day, but Harris is a Black Womanβ€”I mean, an "unknown quantity"!

She's neither the eloquent public speaker Obama is, nor did she make much of an impression during most of her time as VP. Admittedly she's been stepping up in the past six months or so, but will that be enough to overcome mainstream voter unease over how Biden suddenly "retired"? If she retains, or better improves, her standing between now and post-Convention then I'll breathe easier, but I'm still afraid now that the Democratic Party Circular Firing Squad has come out onto the field, they're not going away until they destroy any vestigate of unity or even common sense that Democrats might have...!

Every single democrat I know instantly accepted Kamala as the pick. I think she will destroy Neo-Hitler.

I believe so, too.

I haven't heard the loudest yappers, like James Carville, the NY TIMES, or THE WASHINGTON POST yetβ€”in fact, they already seem to be eagerly gathering whatever mud they can sling!

I hope you are rightβ€”but I remember reading about 1968 (I was barely in my teens then, so I hardly got a broader perspective than "Filthy Commie Hippies Versus Heroic Chicago Police!" in those days), so I REALLY don't think so.

A few days in...?

It's possible that my original concerns about Kamala Harris were wrong.

The excitement & support behind VP Harris is intoxicating. I donated a few 100 to her on Sunday evening. I think she will energize & bring in the younger voters that had soured on Biden. I haven’t felt this happy about a candidate since Obama 2008!!!!!

What's most appealing to me about Harris? Is watching Trump, J.D. Wentworthβ€”er, "Vance!" πŸ˜‚, and the Right-Wing Hate-O-Sphere falling on their faces trying to sling mud while desperately trying NOT to sound like the bigoted assholes they blatantly are!

Almost as funny is them desperately backpedaling on the whole "Age Thing", now that TRUMP is the oldest candidate who ever ran.... 🀣 🀣 🀣
