A 4.8 magnitude earthquake shook Las Vegas and surrounding areas Friday morning, (2015) forcing loose a rubber casing on a bridge and leading state officials to close Spaghetti Bowl interchanges for several hours. That's not far from where the tunnel is to the Convention Center. And that's a pretty small earthquake. This tunnel idea is a Titanic disaster just waiting to happen.

Deborah, is the LV tunnel system planned on transporting 2028 Olympics fans & athletes to big stadiums and arenas to handle overflow of events from LA, the official city for 2028? A friend in LV told me of these vague plans six months ago. I thought the tunnels were finished and work was furiously underway to link them up with transportation to and from Olympics venues in LA.

It just Googled it and 7 tunnels are finished. I'll be honest - I haven't paid much attention to it because I never have any intention of riding in one and I rarely go to the Strip. It says proposed link with LA so that could take quite awhile. There is a high speed above ground rail train being built between Vegas and LA. I think the ground's been broken and it's in the median of I-15 South. They are supposed to have 68 tunnels here in all. Wait till disaster strikes. Not only does our ground majorly flood with hardly any rain, there's the earthquake worry I talked about yesterday. I can see disaster written all over this scheme because of how our city is built, earthquake issue, flooding and the total moron behind all of this. I'll take Uber thank you.
