When I was working and we were upgrading to a new system, it took IT months to test all the applications we had to make sure the new system would work with everything. Even then, things would go wrong and they’d have to tweak it.

I found it curious that the older Treasury IT guys were brought in to help the youngsters with coding language they didn’t understand. Trying to fix what might cause the system’s crash was probably a necessity. Good points Kay-EI!!
Yes, during the dot.com era I tested the new systems my company was installing to upgrade their customer service software. It took about four months. I'd like to know who here trusts AI. Their spelling corrections suck if you use an academic word they don't know.
We always think can we do a thing? But never should we do it. AI was rushed and is a pain in the ass most times, and the Chinese just outdated ours. Haha.
You're SO right, Doc! Every program we had would be glitchy for weeks after every "upgrade," and our company changed various platforms a couple times a year. Yikes!

When I was in the one corporate job I ever had, a bolt of fear would shoot through the office when we heard the words, "system upgrade."
