All people have had good and bad moments. I think what is important to understand is that no one is perfect. Be that Newsom's Trans flip flop comments, or how hes handled other things in the past. Its ADMIRABLE for what he is doing now, but also understanding that hes human.

The last thing the resistance needs at the moment is eating our own. If Newsom is the self-aggrandizing opportunist & showboat described in this profile (that reads more like a Newsmax hit job) isn't that precisely what progressives have been bitching for? Where's OUR loudmouth antidote to Trump? Newsome just generated more headlines in the last 24 hours than our entire Democratic representation in congress has done since the inauguration. I hope he gets louder & more obnoxious. It'll drive Babyhands nuts.

Whether there is a perfect person somewhere is not really the question. When we could wake up any day now, in a fully-loaded police state with no rights, why is it essential to pick apart the Governor of California. Is this profile really the political action we need? There is broken circuit in some journalists that disables them from understanding an emergency that invalidates their usual habits.

We absolutely cannot eat our young here. We are united against Trump and his fascist regime. Period. Full stop. Once we get rid of this scourge then we can tweak what we have.

Well, looks like you changed your mind since apparently the post has been replaced with "Nothing to see here. Removed. Go about your business. Those responsible have been sacked." Look, I'm pissed as hell about his words and actions regarding trans kids. But why do you think anyone needs to be reminded that he's human and imperfect? I've voted for him many times, ever since I lived in SF when he was mayor, but I never once thought he was perfect and have often taken issue with things he's done.
