“Trump’s a fascist but I’m voting for him anyway” — what the fuck is this bullshit
how patriotic of you, asshole
the Completely Useless Shitbag Brigade is back, and they have a message they can’t wait to share: Little Donny Fuckface is the worst! he’s a moron! a racist! a fascist! we’re terrified! our country won’t survive if he regains power! — oh, and we’re voting for him anyway.
the Washington Post interviewed sixteen former Trump administration officials to see if any of them had plans to campaign against their former boss, and oh my god, the results weren’t pretty.
here’s former Chief of Staff John Kelly:
Kelly, a retired four-star general, said he didn’t know what to do — or what he could do — to help people see it his way.
what unmitigated bullshit is this? Kelly doesn’t know what he could do?
John, there is an entire ecosystem of cable and network news out there — CNN, MSNBC, Meet the Press, Face the Nation — who would book you in a hot fucking second to come onto their shows and tell the public the horrors you saw, first hand. oh, but it’s so harrrrd to, complains John:
“I came out and told people the awful things he said about wounded soldiers, and it didn’t have half a day’s bounce.”
what’s this? you tried once, and then you went home? John, you’re a four star general. how about you act like one? is that what your Marine training taught you, to try once and give up?
no — you go out in public, get your face on TV as often as you need to, hammer your message home until you get through to people.
that’s what you do if you care about your country. do you care, John?
the list of cowards goes on:
Former vice president Mike Pence is not planning to take a public role for or against Trump, according to people close to him. Others close to many former Cabinet officials say they will be silent. Elaine Chao, the former transportation secretary who resigned, Jim Mattis, the former defense secretary, and others have signaled they do not relish a big fight with Trump even as they don’t want him to be the nominee. Former defense secretary Mark T. Esper, who has sometimes leveled criticisms at Trump, did not respond to requests for comment.
useless. totally fucking useless.
no, wait — some of these dipshits are actually worse than useless.
At the same time, even some who have publicly declared Trump unfit for office have said they would still support him over Biden in 2024.
amazing. you know that Donald Trump is unfit for office. you’ve seen him in action. you’ve stood next to him, witnessed his deficiencies, his greed, his vanity, his cognitive impairments, his utter disregard for the law — but you’re still going to vote for him. how patriotic.
and it’s the same story with the fucktangle of douchebags and charlatans running against Trump to be the GOP nominee.
here’s profile in courage Nikki Haley:
Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley has indicated that she would support former President Donald Trump as their party's nominee for the 2024 race even if he was convicted of a felony.
awesome, Nikki. have a cookie. enjoy voting for the rapist who’s going to be convicted of trying to overthrow his own government. that’s really putting country over party.
note to former Trump aides and current campaign opponents: this is how it’s done.
Jen Psaki: “I know you’ve been reluctant to say who you’re going to vote for, but are you leaving the door open to voting for Joe Biden if it’s between the two of them?”
Cassidy Hutchinson: “I will say that my door is completely shut to voting for Donald Trump, and the only reason that I will not endorse a candidate right now is that I still am hopeful that Donald Trump does not end up being the nominee next year … but what I will say to you is I think everybody should vote for Joe Biden if they want our democracy to survive.”
exactly. plain and simple.
