And poor Mark Robinson burned his hand at a truck show. Apparently, he heard "hot trans" and couldn't help but grab it.

bruce somers's avatar

Superior humor sir!! 😂😂😂😂

Ransom Rideout's avatar

Read about going to the hospital last night. Thank you for the update. Was that hot trans silver aluminum or powder coat black?

Kristy Kanen's avatar

I assumed he had been struck by lightning 🌩

Pat Chubb's avatar

Dang! I thought God had taken up smiting people again and what better target?

Patrick Daniels aka Cromulent1's avatar

Robinson aside from being a nazi lovin’ racist prick is an ignorant chode!!

bruce somers's avatar

'Blacks for Trump' is like chickens voting for Col. Sanders.

funnyhaha's avatar

It's even worse, because chickens are so stupid they will literally drown in a rainstorm from looking up, and you'd expect the humans to be . . .

I'm sorry, I forgot what my point was going to be.

Stunning hilarity. Glad I wasn’t sipping my coffee.

HI2thDoc's avatar

Too bad he didn't burn his dick

I saw on Jay Kuo’s site that Catturd was saying the hurricane was coming directly at his area and a brilliant wit told him to use a sharpie and redirect it. 😂

Jeff, thanks for a thorough recap of all the last week’s insanity! By the way, I saw the big news that “Craig” unfollowed you on Threads - how are you holding up? Do you need privacy during this difficult time? We’re here for you!

I am just gobsmacked at the level of stupid on display here. And they’re PROUD AF about it. How in the world do these morons manage to dress and bathe and feed themselves??!? And we get more of the fever swamp of Project 2025 ideas - hey guys, let’s just kill off all of the parts of the government that help warn us to come in out of the rain and help recover afterward. Because they’re part of the climate hysteria industry amirite?

Ya might wanna ask those folks in Florida and Georgia about that idiocy before ya pull the switch on that idea trumpy.

bruce somers's avatar

Trump eliminated the pandemic response teams in 2017...that worked out well :/

Chris Craddock's avatar

Serial loser, I guess we should expect that to continue. What an idiot.

Patrick Daniels aka Cromulent1's avatar

For those perched on the eugenics fence Bruce, which are many!!

bruce somers's avatar

Indeed...in 2020,no mask!! No vax!! It's the 'patriotic' thing to do!! In 2024,in close, battleground states, well, that's pretty Darwinian.

Douglas Paul Truhlar's avatar

He is one fucking genius, say yes or go on the list and god help you if you go on the devils top ranked evility list, now I shall pray for me.

Nancy Potter's avatar

They don't want to kill it, they just want to sell it off, so we'll have to subscribe to it, and hurricane warnings won't be reported (unless the media pays big) because it will be "proprietary information." And maybe muskrat will buy some of it and ban any mention of warmer oceans, sea level rise, or the reasons wildfires and other disasters are getting worse.

Cathy 98280's avatar

You’re just assuming they bathe. And get dressed. 😂

Chris Craddock's avatar

Well yeah, that’s a good point. Trumpet is supposed to be pretty ripe, so maybe his cultists go all in on that too

bruce somers's avatar

I believe they're buying adult diapers instead of eggs now.

Cat Cafe's avatar

And feed themselves something other than corrosively bad fast food

Cat Cafe's avatar

They're the ones voting for it! Not to mention building houses inches from the Gulf of Mexico, rebuilding after hurricanes destroy them over and over, and staying put despite being not only ordered to evacuate, but even actually writing their names & information in Sharpies on their arms as directed, without ever once stopping to think, "huh, maybe I'm causing my own problems"

Barbara Rengstorff's avatar

I like the guy one time who posted while he was vacationing where a hurricane was coming and everyone was supposed to evacuate. He said he first thought that maybe he would stay because “when am I ever going to be able to experience a hurricane?” But then he decided to evacuate because staying was probably nature’s way of weeding out the stupid. 😁

Good Morning All…. I had a text conversation with a MAGA golf partner yesterday. He was complaining about all the $$ our country is sending to Ukraine. I gave him historical insight concerning his opinion, mentioning American First, Charles Lindbergh, Nazis rolling over Poland, invading France and most of Europe I said if our country had not “spent our funds” to engage the Nazis our world would vastly different. I was told that Trump was correct, I was told that historical comparisons were not valid and we should not spend our money defending Ukraine, because MAGA is “realist” Thus, my friends, the Putin ideology. In addition I sent him a piece from the Bulwark, non Trump Republicans and conservative.. I was told that these were leftest viewpoints, even though the members of the Bulwark were former Regan supporters… Brainwashed by propaganda, misinformation and disinformation… I grow so very tired of dealing with the uneducated. Best to all…

JENNIFER's avatar

I am a teacher by trade and training. I've spent 20+ years teaching children to read, write, do math, executive functioning skills, daily living. I have spent the bulk of my career teaching kids who have trouble regulating their emotions and making good decisions (usually landing them in trouble with the law) and I guarantee all of them are smarter and more realistic than any given MAGAt .... I don't need their kinda energy in my life. I won't be "educating" any of them cause they just can't learn.

Nancy Potter's avatar

Don't MAGAs consider teaching executive functioning skills and critical thinking to be "grooming?"

JENNIFER's avatar

Probably. They consider teaching English and Math and History grooming.

Deb's avatar

I'm sure they consider teaching History grooming. Teaching American History and Government used to be absolutes when I was in Middle School, and I loved it!

Now, I would bet in many states, that those who come to this country and take a citizenship test know more about American History and Government than those born and raised here...and that is not only a tragedy, but dangerous.

JENNIFER's avatar

It's my contention that toooooo many years of football coaches teaching Civics in our schools has lead to this basic lack of knowledge (Tim Walz aside). My Gov't teacher in High School was a wise, older, very professional woman who made it her mission to make sure a bunch of HS Seniors were ready to be productive citizens. But more often than not, it's Tommy one too many concussion Coach who's teaching it now (if it's taught at all)

I had a MAGA “friend” but finally I felt compelled to tell her she was in a cult. There is no reasoning with them. We are no longer friends if we ever really were. We were mostly colleagues for 15 years. Don’t have to interact with her since I retired about a year ago.

Mary Hall's avatar

My former BFF of 36 years dumped me because I am not a MAGAt. It's okay, because I have lots of friends who aren't fascist fidiot fkheads.

arne link's avatar

They will come crawling back when it's all over. How sad, though.

Kathleen Weber's avatar

Or maybe we'll have to rebuild all the Insane asylums so they'll have a place to live.

bruce somers's avatar

I believe conspiracy theory is mental illness really...and election denial is treason.

Kathleen Weber's avatar

Always remember the First Amendment, Bruce. Simply being a communist is not a crime, believing Trump won the 2020 election is not a crime, advocating the violent overthrow of the US government is a crime. And Jack Smith is trying to prove that Trump committed that crime.

Susan Niemann's avatar

You got that right, Kathleen. My goodness. Make America Smart Again!

FTrump And FPutin Too's avatar

In my speed reading I first thought you were telling her she was a C U Next Tuesday.

Hey Fredo, fuck your friends. Why waste your time. You need to admit that they are right wing haters and revel in their ignorance. It must be hard to be them. I abandoned several relationships because of that type of rhetoric.

Kathleen Weber's avatar

Susan Niemann's avatar

Susan Niemann's avatar

Patrick Daniels aka Cromulent1's avatar

But kicking ass off the tee’s might be worth the psychobabble!

PJ Schuster's avatar

I’ve just about severed all communication with my 1 sister & my nephew who live in Texas. I sent them the story about the 2 women who died in GA from lack of timely care; & I titled it “You did this” They are RNs like I am & yet they voted for trump mainly because of his promise to get those Justices on the court to overturn Roe.

I am so angry with them.

Mingo's avatar

I'm sorry that you too are having to let go of familial relationships. What so many people who go MAGA have in common is addiction, abuse and/or trauma. They have to have someone or something to hate. Trumpism is a cancer that has metastasized in our society. This will take awhile to eradicate.

HI2thDoc's avatar

So they’re anti choice. Is it because they’re holy rollers?

Johanna Park's avatar

Very tiresome and depressing. We have a lot of reforming to get to, starting with addressing corporate and media monopolies and the entire public education system.

bruce somers's avatar

D Kitterman's avatar

The Humanities are an important part of any education:

History

Philosophy

Literature

Language

D Kitterman's avatar

And, you can always tell the difference between people that experienced any Art education, at all, from those that did not.

Or music, for that matter.

HI2thDoc's avatar

Do Lee Greenwood and Big & Rich count?

Lisa K. Obrien's avatar

Seems that they eschew science as well. Let’s see, what’s left? Histrionics?

bruce somers's avatar

'Internet Research'...ugh.

HI2thDoc's avatar

We need a different term for those who read whacko shit on the Net and call it “research.” Son is pursuing PhD in molecular biology. What he does is research

HI2thDoc's avatar

Ironically, conservatives always deride public education for indoctrinating our children to be open minded, tolerant, curious, compassionate, and have critical thinking skills. In other words, less likely to be cult zombies like MAGAs and Christian Nationalists.

bruce somers's avatar

I believe the MAGATS are hoping to birth enough indoctrinated Christian babies to replenish the stock the hate/revenge/end times cult before they disappear forever, pretty stupid.

Mike Janowski's avatar

Time for a well-placed 3 iron to the head.

Lynn Horsky's avatar

whoops, it just flew out of my grip on the backswing.....

Susan Niemann's avatar

It's a shame....the propaganda these folks are devouring is powerful. It brings out the very worst in them. 🙄

Patrick Daniels aka Cromulent1's avatar

Education can be powerful, using the knowledge gleaned, more so… it’s sad that we live in an epoch of such ignorance and disfunction… who’s to blame? Without incompetence and ignorance though, what would Jeff do?

Lynn Horsky's avatar

He'll never run out of a job finding stupidity in America.

Fastball Fredo's avatar

Susan, I watch Julia Davis interpreting Russian talk shows. I’ve pointed out to MAGAS that what they have to say about American politics seems to mirror the comments on Russian TV… Goes right over their heads..they see nothing wrong with mouthing Russian propaganda… I can barely speak to them other than pointing out how similar FAUX The 5 is so similar to the main Russian TV news show…man they get pissed… 😠

Susan Niemann's avatar

Those people are not Americans...they simply are traitors. If you dont believe in democracy, then get the fuck out. It pisses me off.

Fastball Fredo's avatar

I’m retelling this because #1 the respondent is a retired doc. He should know better than to be sucked in by Putin propaganda. #2 it seems that MAGA considers any differing position is… communist, Marxist or socialist…period….no exceptions.. And yet the Russian propaganda is put out by a former KGB Colonel for the old Soviet Union…once again, not aware of the background of this propaganda… it’s like Roy Cohn has been resurrected as MAGA and Donald…never admit guilt, never negotiate, and always lie or Gish Gallup🤮🤮

HI2thDoc's avatar

Putative intellect and academic achievement can be overridden by emotional biases and the cognitive dissonance of propaganda. There are many "Doctors" and other highly educated whose own resentments are stirred by MAGA. Agree, I also think your golf foil really should know better but obviously he has a major malfunction in his cognitive process.

Patrick Daniels aka Cromulent1's avatar

Hard to explain facts with people lacking a frontal cortex Fastball!

Why didn’t Trump take his black sharpie and move the weather pattern out to the Atlantic Ocean? That would have saved the government a lot of money. No need for FEMA.

Mingo's avatar

That's right. The Lord will just blare the warnings from heaven so all in the path of weather events will hear and move to higher ground like a herd of antelope. Now can the Lord explain why a package I'm expecting through USPS that originated in Texas is rerouted to VA and is now in NC when I'm in AZ.

arne link's avatar

Sorry, the Lord just don't care. He's busy talking to idiots.

bruce somers's avatar

Busy affecting the outcomes of sporting events apparently.

Having shared on Facebook the warning about Project 2025 destroying NOAA and the hurricane center, I was informed last night my post was removed by “independent fact checkers” for containing false information

Susan Niemann's avatar

WHAT?? Zuck is deep inside the Dump Camp.

Susan P Thatcher's avatar

Ya know, if taxation reduced these multi billionaire mofos down to 1%, they will STILL be extremely rich. And the ones saying, "Tax me more"? Tell your money managers to dial back the TAX SHELTERS. Gates, Buffett, you had the power all along, click your Italian handmade heels together 3 times and say, "No more hoarding money."

Cynthia Verdell's avatar

When JFK was president, the tax rate was 70% and they were still wealthy. We should never have had as billionaires. Because they are not paying their fair share of taxes, more billionaires are created. If four, just four of the richest billionaires could end world hunger and poverty. But because they are greedy people and care nothing about others. President John Kennedy, himself the product of one of America’s grandest fortunes, asked Congress to drop the nation’s top tax rate down to 65 percent. Congress would mostly oblige, and that top tax rate would sink to 70 percent in 1965. In the 1980s, Ronald Reagan and his friends on Capitol Hill would shove that rate down even further, first to 50 and then to 28 percent. (From Sam Pizzigati co-edits Inequality.org). I hope they can tax them like that again.

Funny Eye Guy's avatar

Actually if they’re as concerned as they say, they should just buy Congress. I know it’s wrong, but “don’t hate the player, hate the game” and all that. The country and the earth are in genuine peril.

Nancy Potter's avatar

Since Zuck is being threatened by Trump, maybe he's trying to get some brownie points to save himself. But actually, Project 2025 doesn't say it will "destroy" NOAA and the hurricane center, only sell it off to private industry. Like to Musk. Or Boeing. See, nothing to worry about, it will all be fine.

Lynn Horsky's avatar

they'll throw coins into a fountain to predict the weather

Hannah's avatar

I feel so much better knowing that.

bruce somers's avatar

FB has outsourced fact-checking to right-wing media outlets.

PollyP's avatar

I saw that Zuck did that to a friend of mine too. I think because the intentionally vague 2025 wording goes something about "maybe looking at considering" which means that they are totally fucking going to do it.

SPW's avatar

I get that quite a bit. FB is actually threatening me for continuing to post things “for clicks and likes” 🤣 or for spam. I post the likes of Joyce Vance, Heather Cox Richardson and Steven Beschloss so not sure WTF their algorithms are doing but they’re fucking aggravating.

Susan P Thatcher's avatar

They must not be the clicks and likes the algorithms want

Mary Hall's avatar

I once posted a photo of a rainbow on my FB page and promptly got reprimanded by Zuck who insisted that such things do not exist.

FTrump And FPutin Too's avatar

Bbbbut the Xtians used to regard the rainbow 🌈 as The symbol of God’s promise that he would never send a global flood again, ever since that great flood that Noah survived (with God’s help) and saved all the creatures of the Earth. How quickly they abandoned that story! (I always wondered why God couldn’t just recreate those creatures.)

Dave Drell's avatar

This is why I avoid FB Twitter and all those social media - except Substack.

They are all warped

Hannah's avatar

Wow. Get away from FB. It's evil.

Donna Kazo's avatar

Thanks for the warning but I’ve been there since 2009 and have made many wonderful friends all over the world.

Let me sum up's avatar

I think we should all write a strongly worded letter to the deep state. It just makes sense.

bruce somers's avatar

DeJoy will probably just lose it.

Stephanie Lajeskie's avatar

You’ve got that right. The only way he’ll receive the letter is if we order it from Amazon.

Let me sum up's avatar

So I recently read a history of threclampdown on dissent in WW1, deportations of "radicals" etc. Wilson's POS postmaster just didn't deliver IWW & socialist publications, causing most of them to go under.

So there's precedent for DeJoy - horrible precedent, but precedent nevertheless.

Gotta love the latest from the maggot infested brain of Roseanne Barr. Democrats are eating babies and drinking their blood. Just when you think the MAGA lunacy has peaked, more of their insane fuckery is revealed. No wonder they continously want to cut mental health funding. They're doing their best to those who spew this shit from getting locked up.

HI2thDoc's avatar

Not pertinent but funny. After she and Tom Arnold divorced, she sniped that he had a small penis and he retorted, "even a 747 looks small when you land it in the Grand Canyon."

Watching Roseanne's slow decline over the decades has been both breathtaking and heartbreaking.

When she was young, a hood ornament punctured both her skull and frontal lobe. My brother had the same injury. He was once a screaming liberal. Now, like Roseanne, he's a screaming lunatic. A MAGAt.

Also, like Roseanne, he's lost all family and all friends because of it. I honestly feel bad for them. I usually ridicule The Great Unwashed, but I just can't with them. 💙
