You really did not get my point. Science is doing damage to its ability to help people by trying to force trivialities down their throats. Scientists should be pushy ONLY when the information is necessary and important. Otherwise, on less important issues, like the number of planets, you can take the long slow road of teaching the new definition to children and it will eventually become predominant.
Your response shows that you do not appreciate the value of not wearing out your welcome. In my view, science is extremely important— it should learn how to communicate effectively, not pedantically.
