This is the only way I’m getting the news from now on.

when Greene asked for a “point of personal inquiry” and Rep. Dan Goldman cut her off with a curt “there’s no such thing.”

Saw a video of it and that made my day!

Her admit on 60 Minutes that dear old dad listened to hate radio24/7 and she has was/is? a Facebook frequent flyer IS it. That is her claim to being a Congressional rep. Whatever she got in college it certainly did nothing for her "public service". Whenever I see her I think get the halter & lead and bring that horse back to the barn.

"Her admit"

Jesus Fucking Christ.

“This Week in Stupid” is so funny 😆 - reminds me of

BBC programming: “This Was The Week That Was”

There was a satire boom in the UK in the 1962-1963. It really broke ground in comedy by lampooning political figures. Script writers including Roald Dahl and John Cleese.

And, of course, another proposed stupid Friday thing...the Supremes rendering women hostages with an 11th hour ruling on medical abortion drugs.

How about a stupid Friday about Texas adopting new laws that the 10 Commandments must be clearly posted in every public school room . And another new law about starting every class day with a prayer. Perhaps authored by Ali Alexander?

Marsha, how does this prayer sound. Kids all over Texas will be praying this one.

Dear Jesus,

Please do not let us be slaughtered in our classroom today.

I think I read that the woman who was urging the Lege (as Molly Ivins used to call the Text legislature) to mandate the 10 Commandments in every classroom doesn't even have kids in public school. She home schools her kids.

Go figure

Why? They darn sure dont obey the 10 commandments

Will there be a day when all of the collective stupidity, insanity, dishonesty, perversion, projection, crime and overall bullshit just implodes on itself? Some days it seems like that could happen!

It gives me hope that they’re completely out of touch, anti-woke (whatever that is) extremism is causing them to ‘shoot’ themselves in the foot for 2024.

We’re all so tired of it, so over it.

That day can't come soon enough.... some days I do wonder if we dare hope for it.

I normally hate the news, but love the way Jeff presents it! I also thought Dominion would not settle. SMDH

Jeff—in the picture you posted of Margie Green, she’s clearly signaling that you are wrong. She has an IQ of two, not three. Or maybe that’s how many voices are in her head? Or how many years of high school? Hard to tell.

BTW - Floriduh. if I am ever in a position to hire anyone for a job or accept someone into a college program and I see they graduated from any school in FloriDUH, that will be a hard pass. They will be too dumb to deal with.

Expand full comment

I'm with you on that, Marsha! We need to send Florida a strong message that the rest of the US (or maybe most of the US) isn't that DUHm.

The Floriduh schoolkids should sue Desantis for retarding their capabilities.

Hey the kids dont like what DeSatan is doing. They are protesting, petition signing. They are being ignored. Board members are replaced with DeSatan followers. Fla. did put him in office though, I error I pray they would like to fix.

“Yeah, it’s not like that no more,” Clardy lamented, before Jennings continued: “Take them down to Mud Creek and hang them up with a damn rope. But you can’t do that any more. They got more rights than we got.”

once again, every wingut accusation is in reality a confession.

And I'm with you. I too, don't know how that unreliable fuckface has a following. ;-)

Still love your column notwithstanding Tuesdays' hopes and wishes colliding with reality. Win some. lose some. With the benefit of perspective, Dominion settlement a win. All the news hitting at once - another win. The pimple has popped letting us get on the other side of the ooze.

Ali Alexander and Elmo are a riot of stupid. Alexander is so typical Republican with a fascination of dicks. I’m sure he’s done the bus station men’s room tour a time or two. Lester the Molester written all over him.

Elmo is a shopping bag of several varieties of reality. Reach in and pick out one of his crappy personas.

How come you design your stuff to “self-disassemble”? That does seem a bit counter productive, but hey, it’s your stuff. I see lawsuits in your future...

It’s the proverbial ‘moron’ pours gasoline on a campfire and burns down the forest, turns around and asks Steve Erkle style, “Did I do that?”
