We all need to call the DHS number and report the pedophile at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Cats 🐈🐈‍⬛'s avatar

What a grand idea. I will try to find a public phone to call from as I don’t want to provide them any more opportunities to have my phone number.

Lauralite's avatar

Call from your office, if you have one. Preferably a large office. I used to read the NYT on my lunch break on the rare (thankfully!) occasions I was trapped in the office. I'd go to a different computer every time so I wouldn't run out of free articles.

Steve in SoCal's avatar

There are pay phones in front of Blockbuster Video and Tower Records stores 📞

Really? Do payphones still exist?

Steve in SoCal's avatar

They existed when Tower and Blockbuster did anyway 😉

WHY? this ain't a game of hide-n-seek. THIS AIN'T NO GAME!

LET THE MUTHERFUKERS KNOW YOUR NAME so they will carry the SHAME of THEIR CRIMES!

my politics are well known in eastern carolina, i'm not difficult to find.

most know me by name or by 'sign guy'! or by 'that fukin sign guy'! HA!

i'm not hard to find, i'm the guy with the sign 'FUK TRUMP!'

Elizabeth Schulz's avatar

I'M also well-known on my block as 'the' most outspoken 'frump despiser'. While a few DO dislike him intensely, we do also have cowards who live in fear. I don't. They might want to turn me in, but would be too scared to, given that we've lived here the longest AND we've also been the nicest to every new arrival. They'd be run out of our neighbourhood if they dared do anything to cause us harm. I don't care anyway - FUK them. Those I DO care about would stand up for m especially. Sadly, even my husband holds back despite HIS intense dislike and even expressed hatred of the fucking coward, which I don't 'get'. THAT fear - THAT kind of living in intimidation is exactly how and why they're able to control our Country. I can only attribute it to his past republicanism. He's never understood how or why I was able (at the very tender age of 15-16) I wpu;d deliberately dance through Central Park hand-in-hand with a lovely, sweet boy whose skin colour was the darkest black while mine is the palest white, along with our other group of mixed-brown and Jewish friends, causing old ladies to tut-tut and avert their so-offended eyes. We were all good friends who knew even THEN that we made a difference singing 'This Land is Your Land' and other meaningful songs. Maybe that's why Bruce's newest hit me so hard...he took me right back to Dylan, Baez and those days. The only fear I had then was of my mother - and she would never imagine me being with my NCCJ friends IN Central Park showing our beliefs. Did it ever dawn on these stupidos that demented donny's own daughter converted to Judaism? Not that he gives a damn since he's anti-semitic as well, but they'd better tread lightly else she exert HER own billions against them. Truth be told SHE is far more intelligent than either Beavis and Butthead, DID run her own company (despite how insubstantial it was to most of us), but could easily takeover when daddy kicks the bucket. I suspect NONE of them have a clue that she just might bear all kinds of serious ill-will about her childhood. Wouldn't you once you found out about ALL of the Epstein fuckery?

I do too, but mine are f-ing Cruz and Cornyn--repubs. When I remind them that they know trump is compromised, frightening, and a dictator, Cruz doesn't respond, and Cornyn always sends a looong form letter about all the great things trump has done for the country. GAG. What is making me laugh is that many of the Texas repubs. running for office are calling themselves "Maga___" and touting trump's endorsement. Man, that kind of connection is going to seal their doom!

Of course not. Did you you think that something would happen to him. MAGA (his 40%) doesn't care what Trump did to young girls. Men are men and certainly their needs are more important. He's a guy and if the young girl is there she gets what she deserves because she is a tramp. Why else is she there? And there are more where she came from. And its not like they didn't get any gratuities.

These are the MAGA excuses. MAGA are so perverted they admire him for raping young girls.

Jeff, in all my years I’ve run across people just like that Bovino creature.. the most egregious was a fellow worker at a college Legal Services.. telling me that I, as a Jewish person, was going to hell… on a daily basis. I dealt with it for 2 years until he graduated. This individual graduated law school, went on to become general counsel to Jerry Falwells Moral Majority, after resigning that position he founded a small law school, supplemented his income by publishing teaching books for the home schooled. Come to find out he is an advisor to Donald these days. These Jew haters are in the background most of the time… Best to you and all fellow travelers.

Kay-El's avatar

Daniel M Kimmel's avatar

Best line I ever read on religious pluralism came from Avery Corman's novel "Oh, God" (made into a mediocre movie despite George Burns being in it). God is asked which religion is closest to the Divine Truth and replies, "I should get into favorites? I think they're all cute."

ynot1965's avatar

Wasn’t John Denver in that movie also? I liked it!

Daniel M Kimmel's avatar

Casting Denver ruined the film. Read the novel. God appears as an old Jewish guy (Burns was perfect) because he's appearing to a Jewish freelance writer. He explains he's no more Jewish than anything else.

Making the interlocutor a gentile supermarket clerk made no sense whatsoever and totally undercut the point of the book.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

Nothing "moral" about Falwell's "Moral" Majority. Remember right after 9/11 when he and Pat Robertson were cackling about how it had been caused by gays, feminists and abortionists?

Kate's avatar

Seen on a bumper sticker when I was a kid in the 80’s: “the moral majority is neither”

Did this judgmental jerk possess a Bible that only contained the New Testament? The way some turds can corrupt and contort doctrine that is putatively about the glorious and sublime path to eternity for us frail and benighted humans to suit their own bigotry is truly amazing. Robyn myers's avatar

I consider myself "vaguely Christian" recently , a co-worker of mine who I SHOULD have known better than to get into a religious conversation with told me that I was "going to Hell" because I did not believe as he did. Lincoln made one huge mistake. After freeing the slaves, he should have let the South secede as they wanted. That part of the country has been a huge, money draining, trouble making part of the country ever since.

Douglas Paul Truhlar's avatar

All ‘religions’ are as goofy as can be, when I was about 8 yrs old I was thinking ‘what in the fuck are they telling me! This is bullshit I don’t include any but Christian because I was being groomed for the graduation of, I can’t remember what they called it cataclism? I made it thru but didn’t buy it at all. When I could really read I’d go to the library and look all of it up eventually I thought Buddhism was the sensible one. Christianity you can have it comes in many ridiculous flavors.

Gail (Chicago)'s avatar

The same thing happened to me. I think I was 7, getting ready for my 1st communion and having a panic attack because my "teachers" kept telling me that I was going to hell if I didn't do what they said to do. A voice came to me and said "They are lying to you. None of that is going to happen. Don't believe what they say." From that point on, I went through the motions but did not absorb one more thing they said (including my very Catholic family). In my early 20's, I also thought Buddhism was the one that didn't seem to do harm to anyone the way the others did. But that also was short-lived.

Douglas Paul Truhlar's avatar

Catholics had it the worst no question. My wife when a little girl (planning on being a nun) was told to go to ‘confession’ she did and the mostly dead geezer behind the curtain said “You already have one foot in hell”. What the fuck!

HP's avatar

Seventh Day Adventist is no picnic either.

Deborah Hunter's avatar

I thank my stars for not having to grow up in a religious family. All my relatives were main stream Protestant (family is from England in the 1800's) and I went to church as a child. But looking back, we were not really religious. Going to church was just something you did in a small Midwestern town. When I was 12, we moved to upstate NY- almost all Catholic. And that was when the Church told you what books and movies you could watch. Birth control pills weren't around yet and no meat on Friday. Huge difference from what I saw as a child versus a teenager. I have no religious hangups from my childhood or guilt because I was not one of the flock.

I've been following 'This Will Hold' but I'm conflicted, did the Democratic establishment really say 'Oh, forget it, we'll get 'em next time', that seems ludicrous, but here's a pretty undisputed fact, Harris conceded before all the votes were even counted, sometimes a few hours after polls closed, WTH?? 'We don't challenge elections just because we lost', OK, that's fine, so you throw in the towel at midnight on election night?? That's stupid.

Barbara Ferrara's avatar

Stephen Miller will rot in hell. I’m thinking of my parents when I was asking for permission to do something or buy something like all my friends : “If those kids jumped off the Brooklyn Bridge would you do it too?” If we have a workers class of noncitizens we wouldn’t be what makes America what it is. He’s such a traitor. Just throwing in the Epstein files and skateboard ball crusher in case anyone is looking for them! The monks Walk for Peace is in my county today. Maybe I’ll go give them a flower.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

That non-citizen "worker class" reminds me of what I've read about some of those instant cities in the Middle East, places like Dubai where they import impoverished workers from countries in Asia, house them in what are basically dorms and work them to death — very high rates of fatality. Also, this kind of sounds like what Jared Kushner is proposing for Gazans, to live in "workers housing" while they build the golden resort he's planning.

Add to Jeff’s encouraging words, yesterday I saw a YouTube video by a licensed physical therapist who went down the list of a$$hole’s symptoms to predict he has about 4 months…

The ending of all of it cannot happen soon enough. Resist! Be loud. And, for the love of all that is good and holy, vote!

Thank you Neal, this is a paragraph from Heather: “Hammond was very clear about what he believed the world should look like. Black Americans should always be subordinate to white men, of course, but white women, too, were subordinate. They were made “to breed,” as “toy[s] for recreation,” or to bring men “wealth and position,” he had explained to his son in 1852. Hammond’s promising early political career had been nearly derailed when he admitted that for two years he had sexually assaulted his four young nieces, the daughters of the powerful Wade Hampton II (although he insisted he was being wronged because he should get credit for showing any restraint at all when faced with four such “lovely creatures”). “

Pocket Heydrich antisemitic? NO!!! The only justice for these fucking monsters is at the end of a rope. And I don't really care if it's accomplished judicially or by extrajudicial means. Anarchy is preferable to our present conditions. Counterterrorism is terrorizing the terrorists!
