God spared Trump’s life “because He was not finished with Donald Trump.”

Because god knows Jack Smith isn’t finished with him.

It’s getting colder now and I can’t wait to wear my “JACK SMITH MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN sweatshirt. 🙏🇺🇸🥰👍🥳🇺🇸🩷🇺🇸

Where can I get THAT T-shirt?

Frances Kern's avatar

Just type in Jack Smith Making America Great Again on whatever search engine you use and you will come up with plenty of sites where you can purchase the shirt, some less pricey than others. :)

They should have interviewed the largest crowd trump has had this whole election cycle!

Why were they there?

Were they MAGA, or “the other” hoping for a re-enactment that is successful this time!

Believe me, my GOD never intervened on July 13th!

Last chance to see him in the (rotting) flesh, I guess. Something to tell their grandchildren.

Did tRump’s great doctor in Butler have huge, pulsing biceps? Did he have tears in his eyes?

All of this great love for tRump by his doctors.

Then, why can’t we see the medical report?

Stephen Schiff's avatar

Perhaps because his "doctor" is illiterate. Only a theory.

Patrick Daniels aka Cromulent1's avatar

Doctors like patients, illiterate indeed Stephen

T L Mills's avatar

Or drunk. Or higher than a kite.

It's his CONCEPT of a doctor!

We can't see the medical report because the doctor's tears obliterated the key information.

Trump did write an "erotica novel," so that explains his descriptions

HI2thDoc's avatar

It's pathetic that Americans do not treasure and appreciate our ability to choose our own leaders through free and fair elections. They obviously do not pay attention to other places around the world where there is coercion and election violence, or no elections at all. How would our fellow apathetics enjoy a hereditary dictatorship like North Korea, now ruled by the third generation of that evil family? It burns me that some here cannot be bothered to pay attention, look for factual information, get off their lazy asses to register, and cast a fucking vote for our common good. Geez.

bruce somers's avatar

Agreed, I heard the number yesterday was actually 68%,still not enough, I believe apathy is our enemy too.

Teri's avatar

My friend is close to graduating from college with a degree in social work. We've never talked politics. She's a white female, married to a Black man, with a bi-racial child. My attempts to open the discussion door have all been met with a hard push back -- "it's all corrupt, all of them", "you can't trust anything anyone says". I was stunned at her HARD NO. She hates turd. I tried with his racist comments and what that meant to families like hers. She stood up and hit the door with a "see you later". She hates maga -- tried talking about bi-racial Kamala, possible first female POTUS, to no avail. Very disappointed -- she has skin in the game. Who's ML more likely to fund social work? smh

HI2thDoc's avatar

Both sides-ism is stupid and lazy. It's easier to bury their heads in the sand than to try to understand the issues and positions of the candidates. Sad.

Patrick Daniels aka Cromulent1's avatar

Perhaps she is closer to being right on the corruption side, the majority of both houses take $ from despicable tosspots! We know the Uber wealthy are puppeteers pulling our serfdom strings Teri!! She likely understands… has lived with racism long enough to be hardened,,we all should acknowledge its existence, the hatred and injustice that exists in this country is incredibly disturbing!!

Teri's avatar

Patrick, I appreciate your post. My friend is very intelligent, a great mom, will be an excellent social worker. She's not in it for money, it's to help people, preferably poverty level or low income folks who cannot navigate programs to help with their lives. I absolutely can't believe she is resistant at all. I know her heart. She's a peaceful person. I was shocked when my soft "I'm writing postcards" turned into her getting up and walking out.

Hannah's avatar

I can say from experience, when the racism starts effecting her and her family, it's a whole different deal. No matter where they live, it will come for them. I wish them luck and strength.

Nancy Potter's avatar

Ethereal Fairy's avatar

There is a reason their nickname is “Nice Polite Republicans.

Hannah's avatar

I am guessing that "lie" is a term that could be slanderous. The polite words are not about intent and therefore just opinion. I think the corporate media just doesn't want lawsuits.

Dave Drell's avatar

It’s not worthy of lawsuits - because they are lies and wouldn’t hold up in court.

Ya know , Hitler lied,Stalin lied,Mao lied, all the dictators lie- why can’t they say it’s a lie???

Hannah's avatar

I'm just guessing. I dunno why our "legacy" newspapers were overtaken by crazies. Not really.

Doc Blase''s avatar

A verdict of slander requires proof of malice.

To successfully sue for slander, you must prove the following:

The defendant made a false statement of fact

The statement was spoken as if it were true

The statement caused you some kind of harm or damage

to the "reputation" :-)

Mingo's avatar

It's called Trump Contagion, coined by Dr. Bandy Lee, a psychiatrist. She's been on a MeidasTouch podcast weekly to breakdown the mental pathology of Chumps's mental state and his cult. This country has a serious mental health problem. My mother before she passed, was a marriage and family counselor for decades. She always told me that insurance companies, hospital administrators and politicians weren't interested in funding for mental health because they didn't care about mental health. Guess what most of those bigwigs are...GOP.

On a lighter note, has anyone else noticed that Laura Loony Toon is MIA with the Chump campaign? Did she get 86ed?

I have read that Trump is selling items so that they not only provide grift from his poorer followers, but so that the truly wealthy can use them to buy influence without violating campaign financing laws. So, and example of this is if the Saudi prince buys 100 of the $100,000 dollar watches, or say 1000 of them, and that is effectively buying him access without breaking the law. Or, you could be the governor of Oklahoma and decide to buy some leverage for your state by using taxpayer dollars to force all schools to buy Trump Bibles, again, giving him a lot of grift, and yourself access. Then, in Spy Talk I read that Iran has a contract out on Trump for $1 million. Apparently sleeper agents were captured and questioned, which is why we have some intel on Iran that is perhaps protecting us from having terrorist attacks in the US. Hope I did not speak too soon. Still, it seems like Biden is getting Trump the protection he needs even though he is difficult to protect because he generally ignores advice from his protection detail. Of course, he is going to milk this for all it is worth. It still outrages me that I belong to a country that has so many people who would vote for an incompetent criminal man, that this election is close. My vote, from abroad, is already mailed, and it is Kamala and Tim all the way.

Teri's avatar

Thank you for voting from abroad! 🇺🇸

Patrick Daniels aka Cromulent1's avatar

Grifts by this mobbed up wastrel have trashed this country. As for the hit on the connard by Iran, since our Secret Services are sworn to protect the republic, abide by the constitution, Iran hit men shouldn’t be necessary Linda!

Where on this blue spinning cosmic stone are you residing peacefully to have sent your ballot, Sla’inte!

Linda Weide's avatar

Hi Patrick, I am residing in Germany, and of the around 152,000 Americans living here, only 10% vote. Germany has the 5th largest population of American Expats.

https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/american-expats-by-country

I am a member of Democrats Abroad Germany in my city which is part of the Hamburg and Northern Germany Regional chapter in Germany which has 14 regional chapters. In any case, I also lead a DA Book Club on Project 2025. There we have people from all over Germany, and some other countries in around our time zone. I kind of live back and forth between Germany and the US, but Trump has made me feel sick about being in the US, so I am mostly in Germany. My 19-year-old daughter is also going to university here in Germany, in another city and is a member of another region. She also mailed her ballot from here.

While Iceland is #1, and Ireland at #2 on the Global Peace Index, Germany is at #20, which for a larger country is not bad. The US is at #132. Scroll on this link to pages 8 and 9. https://www.economicsandpeace.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/GPI-2024-web.pdf

You will see that there are around 30 African nations that are safer than the US.

We have had friends move to Portugal recently as digital nomads. They are now having their first child, and are not thinking about the US. She told me she they are in the free health care system there for delivering her child and her pregnancy care. She also gets ex-pat advice. I have had a friend move to Spain to retire. She made a lot of money teaching in the UAE and retired with her Irish husband in Spain. They both speak Spanish. There are so many supports for American Ex-pats in most countries where there is a reasonable sized ex pat population. I was out to dinner with my local Democrats Abroad group the other night where we discussed the US election on the regional radio station. We were asked if we were losing sleep over Trump having been shot. I said, no, he is fine, I lose sleep over him being president again.

I agree about trashing the US. I was thinking the biggest issue is that Trump and his fellow terrorists in the MAGA party have made it so that the average American seems to not know truth from lies and thinks all politicians are equal liars. We need to get a plan and fight back, and it seems to require legislation that takes them include SCOTUS members to court for lies and prison time. Disruptive lies.

Patrick Daniels aka Cromulent1's avatar

Thanks for sharing Linda, I’ll save this and peruse the rest latter! Our political system has been broken, with decisions like Citizens United, the SCOTUS decision that led to purchasing power by corporate moneyed elites!

This is where we are at … it’s class warfare geared to look like internal uprising among the rest of us, who are already being oppressed. The orange mewling wastrel has been but a pawn in a much bigger game of big $$$ fuckery and high treason. The prototypical "useful idiot." With Vance as their second, TFG will be expendable whenever TPTB feel like letting him choke on his own idiocy!

My father owned a company in Germany, nearly moved there in my mid-teens. I have American friends in both Portugal and Spain as well, both are excellent choices! My work led me south throughout Mexico, I’ve found many exceptional people and places from every southern border to Costa Rica, yet if Trump/Vance ticket is deemed the winner, by another demented SCOTUS decision, I’ll join those expats. Sla’inte

I know this will be like shouting into hurricane force winds, but I just get enraged when they trot out the "they tried to kill me" bit. There's no evidence that either of those two morons were motivated by anything Democrats said. The first one seems to have been motivated by a desire for fame. He was just looking to kill a celebrity and he really wasn't that particular about which one. He just got lucky that little Donnie Convict held a rally really close to where he lived so he didn't have to travel far. If it had been Joe Biden or Kamala Harris holding a rally in Butler, he'd have shot at them. The second guy seems to have been an initial Trump supporter who was upset about Donnie's refusal to support Ukraine. Neither of them appear to have been in any way influenced by so-called violent rhetoric from Democrats. But of course no one in the media will say that - not that any of Dickless Donnie's supporters would hear it or believe it, but, damn it, somebody's got to try and I'm just an old woman on the internet.

funnyhaha's avatar

I'm not sure how they're even going to make a charge stick to the second guy. He did absolutely nothing. Is it illegal to have a gun in this country? Don't be silly. Is it illegal to camp out overnight? Nope. And that's literally all he did. He didn't aim at the felon. He didn't take a shot. He might have intended to, but I'm pretty sure you can't be convicted for wrongthink. If he gets a good lawyer he may get off without any charges at all. (Yes, I do know that intent is an element of crime, and attempted murder doesn't require a dead victim, but calling this an 'assassination attempt' has always seemed farfetched to me. It was more like a concept of a plan of an attempt.)

Veronica Speedwell's avatar

MAGAs aren't known for their logic.

It's like abortion. Their "god" (not that I believe this, but they do) created the human body, right? The female body is designed to reject at least as many pregnancies as it carries to term. It's a feature, not a bug. So by "god's" own design there are probably 100 million or more global spontaneous abortions every year. Why is it OK for the body to reject the fertilized egg but not the mind? They never can quite answer that one.
