I just read the Education section of Project 2025 and it is MUCH WORSE than the bullet point you showed. It goes on and on about how Federal Funding for education is

a) moved to departments with no expertise in education

b) done in block grants with NO ACCOUNTABILITY at all for its use beyond "lawful purposes" which can be any law the state decides is good. Actually there's no requirement that the state TELL the government about what it is doing. The only way to accountability for someone to sue the state for unlawful use.

c) explicitly advocating school vouchers for

---faith based schools (presumably the state can pass a law that the faith has to be Christian because, y'know, religious liberty)

---without regard for parental income so those already with kids in private schools now get a free ride.

d. eliminating accreditation requirements for colleges so that for-profit scams can flourish

e. goes on and on complaining how Parental Choice should be an inalienable right up there with free speech and religious "liberty" without bothering to get an amendment to the Constitution that MENTIONS parental choice. The Parental Choice part is particularly bad. If a teacher calls a student any name other than what is on the birth certificates without WRITTEN PERMISSION from parents. So if you want to let your Elizabeth be called Betty, better send a letter or aggrieved parents can SUE any teacher who uses it. So much for nicknames. Butches or Bucks of the world, you are now all "Francis Wilfred" unless your folks fork over a stamp.

The Lesson here: Don't rely on bullet points. READ the sections that you care about (it should be all of them, though it really needs to be done in short chunks) and spread the word about what is behind the bullet points.

Remember that this is from FEDERAL tax dollars. So if you are a Muslim in say Washington you can be SO happy that your money is being spent on unaccredited Christian schools in Alabama.

Finally--everyone needs to download a copy of the Agenda before it vanishes from the website. Then you can quote it or spread it. It takes up a bit more than half a MB of space.
