fun true fact: in the first draft of this post, Bobby Brainworms was the lead and Donny cheating at golf was the second part. but then I decided that cheating at golf was more clickbaity. I guess we'll find out when the clicks come in (or don't).

Stephanie Lajeskie's avatar

I’m not sure which one was more clickable, but I like how you started out with the fact that nobody calls Donny out on his shit and ended with Dana Bash calling Brainworms out on his. It was very satisfying to end on a high note. So maybe we should stop hoping that anyone will ever ask Donny what the fuck is wrong with him (because they never will), and just hand that Pulitzer over to Bash for committing a journalism.

HI2thDoc's avatar

The problem is, Bash is inconsistent. She did her job with Brainworm but on other occasions has folded like an inflatable when the fan turned off

Zija Pulp's avatar

Personally, I give her a pass. She tries, and in that clip, she did a magnificent job. (“You’re not a scientist.” “Well, neither are you.” And then when she goes off on him. That’s more than others do. Unless there’s someone I’ve missed?!)

HI2thDoc's avatar

We will accept any foray into factual territory as a win

HI2thDoc's avatar

From back in April. I can't remember what exactly she didn't push back on, but with this regime's firehose of bullshit, it's confusing as hell.

Has it happened to you, Dana Bash

Has your brain been turned into hash?

I guess the Ellison Kool Aid

Has managed to pervade

CNN, trading fact for cash

Bill Corbett's avatar

I would never had her job because I would have looked at him and said, GTFO NOW you toiled seat junky.

george campbell's avatar

I commend Bash for her reply when he said " You are not a scientist " and she said : Neither are you . Sadly these damaged people in the Cabinet are impervious to shame and seem not to hear hear when they are being called out / insulted . They just plow on .

celeste k.'s avatar

No, the challenge should remain the same. I really want to hear and see a reporter finally hit him with it.

Besides, too many fake 'pulitzer prizes' have already been given out.

michellefromchicago's avatar

A bit off-topic -- but it really is something to behold when Donny whines that he's been treated unfairly. Fairness, after all, is a close relative of justice and impartiality. If Donny had ever been treated with actual fairness in his whole miserable life, he would be rotting in prison right now

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

That book "Commander in Cheat" by Rick Rielly is one of the best things I've ever read. You'd think there wouldn't be enough material to write a whole book about Donnie cheating at golf but believe me, there is! If you feel dragged down by everything going on, you need this book for comic relief. I recommend it to all my friends. Order it now!

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

Also, there's an entire chapter that delves into how Donnie "wins" those "championships." My favorite was when he returned to one of his clubs after a weekend out of town and saw a worker putting up a plaque honoring the winner of a tournament that had taken place there that weekend. He told the workers take it down and put his name there instead because "I always beat that guy and I would've won if I had played in the tournament."

RZolu's avatar

Championshit is my new favorite word…Coined by the great Jeff Tiedrich!!

arne link's avatar

Uncle Jeff is a true wordsmith.

Chris Hierholzer's avatar

And here I thought he misspelled it but it does make perfect sense.

Susan Kemp's avatar

That reminds me of a conversation in Pride and Prejudice where the arrogant aunt says that her daughter would have excelled at the piano, if she had ever learned to play. It makes as much sense as Donny claiming victory in a tournament he didn’t enter.

HI2thDoc's avatar

I can't imagine why professional golfers play with him. Does he have his caddies cheat so openly then?

Stephen Schiff's avatar

A fascinating detail in the clip showing the caddy dropping the ball on the green is the photographer in the background who looks away as the deed is done. Not me, folks! I'd be shooting away, five frames per second, capturing the event in 50 megapixel glory.

HI2thDoc's avatar

I bet he has NDAs with the caddies.

barb's avatar

That's why only dirtbag, sycophant photographers with zero ethics will fit the bill. Who else could even stomach the job?

Joyce's avatar

I imagine it's the same old shit: professional or amateur, they get a cheap thrill from being so close to power. One hopes they stay far enough away to avoid Donnie Demento's real power: the diaper.

HI2thDoc's avatar

Then they check their "reverence for the rules of the game" at the door, when supposedly in golf those rules are sacrosanct

Well jeff, the bitches are scared.

Utterly.

10 years. 10 shit-scared years of these chickenshit asstwaddle spreadsheet butt jockeys swearing the fever would break on its own — and now Senate Republicans are whisper-leak fucking that Trump might be a liability while he white-knuckles a $1.8 billion slush fund for his buddies and burns floor time on a voter-ID bill going absolutely goddamn nowhere.

And the farm bill? untouched. Ohio, Iowa, fucking Texas? slipping.

So the big brave stand from this ass-covering conference is one senator mumbling "you can't just point fingers."

Fuck it.

I give up.

Really.

Susan P Thatcher's avatar

That slush fund isn't going to go anywhere near the average MAGAs from January 6 IF it becomes a reality. I don't believe Trump for a nanosecond that he's not going to pocket it.

Joyce's avatar

When has Donnie Demento ever given away cash? For fuck's sake, the Demento family stole from a children's cancer charity!

Demento also thinks paying workers for a job is giving away cash--ask some Atlantic City contractors. Which makes me wonder: did the moron who ruined the Reflecting Pool actually ever get paid?

Susan P Thatcher's avatar

I imagine if he did, there was a hefty kickback to Trump

A GOP Senator recently asked a witness, "Does the President really believe he won the 2020 election?"

Does Trump really believe he scored a 70 and won a golf tournament?

How does Trump reconcile his claim to the county tax assessor that Mar-A-Lago is only worth $25 million and tell the banks it's worth $1 Billion?

How can Trump sue himself and then claim the Treasury should give him our money? And release him from tax evasion?

Judge Engeron got it right. It's pathological. As in sick. Mentally defective.

Then there's this one: https://www.npr.org/2026/08/02/g-s1-136834/capital-one-trump-bank-anti-money-laundering. Apparently the trump Organization is suing Capital One for closing 100's of its bank accounts, alleging it's retaliation for the Jan. 6th riots, only Capital One is now revealing that the accounts were closed for anti-money laundering reviews. Anyone surprised? No i didn't think so.

Jeff, but what about the surprisingly incoherent, incredibly stupid, incredibly corrupt Mr. Blanche? He is our AG whether you like it or not. Will he push the cop beater slush fund? Will he push for total immunity for Donald and his family and businesses to avoid any tax audits? Will he release the remaining files of the Epstein investigation? And finally… it seems the entire world can see we have an organized crime syndicate operating as a government with Todd as the Consigliere, protect dear leader at all cost.

Thank you Jeff.

It's good to know that the pedo criminal elect is so focused on "putting America first." Like largest debt of any nation in the world. First in healthcare expenses, first in the cost of higher education, first in mass shootings.

While he was playing golf, the Western United States is on fire, tens of thousands are evacuating from their homes. Flood warnings in NY. Children are going hungry as the GOP trade of food stamps for extended tax cuts for the wealthy begin to kick in. Same for Medicaid work requirements, get off the chemo and start looking for work little Suzy. The on again off again "not war" is on hold, probably waiting for the call options to get settled for the next bombardment. RFK Jr. is showing his incompetence and his inability to handle a reporter's question (a trait shared by the rest of the criminally corrupt, incompetent group the pedo criminal elect calls "a Cabinet.") Where's Schrodinger's Mitch?

And while the GOP is thoroughly investigating Dr. Fauci for all the lives he saved throughout his career, the Epstein Trump Maxwell files remain in darkness.

Anything to cover up Trump's incompetence, failed policy, crimes, corruption, and his BFF's child abuse and trafficking. And the entire GOP with few exception, are gleefully participating.

The Reflecting Pool debacle was so typical of his whole persona. Take over something venerable and solemn, make it about himself, foist an unnecessary and expensive supposed upgrade upon it, waste taxpayer money on a grift to a stooge, then fuck it up in several large ways, and end up blaming it on radicalleftcommunistwokeantifavandalswhodon'tloveAmerica.

He looked at the Pool

As an ego-boost tool

He hired an incompetent crony

To paint a liner

He said would be finer

But the reasons were shallow and phony

Orange turd chose a hue

Called it American flag blue

The color was much too dark

It caused the water to warm

And grew an algae farm

That became the object of snark

Then the Park Service tried

Hydrogen peroxide

In order to clear the scum

Another bad decision

And lack of precision

From the regime that excels in dumb

As the liner then peeled

Dumb DonOld squealed

That it was because of vandals

He can never admit

His ideas are shit

That's why he has so many scandals

Fatfuck was enraged

So Pirro engaged

In an unjust legal action

She endeavored to charge

An onlooker at large

For paint chip liner extraction

Right from the start

The case fell apart

The accusation was obviously bogus

For her it was hard

She could be disbarred

For being a vindictive rogus

For adhering to fact

She just may get sacked

But for her that might be good

If she could just see

The truth of ETTD

And escape from the MAGA 'hood

It's always the same

In trump's chaos game

Nothing is ever his fault

He only excels

At lies and bad smells

Stealing and sexual assault
