You nailed it Jeff! Cheetos is now offering a make-up brand! Unfortunately it also affects the brain…which seems to fit in this case!

Linda Weide's avatar

We need that injection of smarts real soon!

KMD's avatar

That vaccine for Willful Ignorance can't come soon enough....

Walt Svirsky's avatar

And throw in one for cognitive dissonance, as well.

Linda Weide's avatar

Walt, I can use that after the last 9 years of Transactional Trump Hell! It is like they torture you in prison by playing loud music 24/7 and having bright lights on, and tie your hands so you cannot cover your ears, and force your eyelids open, and you just cannot stop it no matter what. That is the feeling I get from Transactional Trump. What about you?

Eileen's avatar

A journalist once wrote the Trump first term was like waking up to a jackhammer pounding the pavement outside your bedroom window every morning.

Robert Eckert's avatar

A Canadian posted on one of my boards during Trump 1.0 that living next door to America lately was "like having a neighbor whose car alarm goes off at 3AM, for hours, every night" and an American responded "how do you think it feels being locked in the trunk?"

PurpleHoorean's avatar

Is it Cinnabar powder without the mercury removed? That would explain a lot!

Phil Burns's avatar

He must have been using it his whole life.

Cyndi's avatar

Is that akin to the Twinkies Defense?

Patrick Daniels aka Cromulent1's avatar

He probably shouldn’t be mixing it with his adderall then snorting though Tess!!

Kay-El's avatar

I don’t care if Bacteria Bobby swims in shark infested waters, but taking your grandkids to a polio pond?

Rick Calegari's avatar

How fucking stupid can one be? Would've loved to been the fly on the wall when those poor grandkids folks found out about road kill Bobby's trip to the local DC creek filled with pathogens. That's beyond child abuse. On a very funny note, that pic of Vance applying the Cheetos to dear leader's face was good for the laugh of the morning.

Anna Bolique's avatar

Hopefully Bobby picked up a new brain worm that'll finish the job the first one started.

Lisa's avatar

WHY would Brainworms kids let him take their kids anywhere?! We better not hear ANYTHING about these kids getting cholera!! HOLY SHITE!

KP Johnson Austin, TX's avatar

We'll never hear a thing, because they would be jetted off to some country to get their treatments.

Douglas Paul Truhlar's avatar

I suggest crawling around where the walls meet the floors of a ER of a hospital to lick the floors there right there. I used to have to measure the floors in them because my store provided the new flooring for them. Do you want to know what I saw there. First, the lights don’t go there, and the dust is alive. Dust 3” deep, I was shocked. That’s where the Uber germs are that medicines can’t stop. Those rooms are so stacked with er equipment body sees them but us lucky ones, excuse me I have this cough and nobody can figure it out I guess we’ll talk tomorrow.

PTW's avatar

I work in a large medical center. Can confirm this.

Ole Anderson's avatar

You won’t. They would keep that hushed up for sure.

Douglas Paul Truhlar's avatar

Uber germs no known cure they defy it.

Kathleen Weber's avatar

Bobby believes that if you eat the right foods, germs will bounce off of you. He believes that he just proved his point.

Walt Svirsky's avatar

The man eats road kill for crying out loud!

Kathleen Weber's avatar

Everything proves his point. Only a robust hunter gatherer Nature Guy such as himself can eat roadkill and survive. OTOH, people who eat Kraft macaroni and cheese would curl up and die immediately.

Walt Svirsky's avatar

Pretzel Logic personified

Sharon Hudnall's avatar

Kegstand also boasted while at Fox that he never washed his hands and actually ate something that had been dropped on the. floor. Germ-proof! These are uber-mensch.

Kathleen Weber's avatar

Absolutely cool use of German uber-mensch. Please continue to use this great word because it fits the current crop of lunatics so well. But the plural of Übermensch is Übermenschen. They are Übermenschen. (I spent five months in Germany learning German.)

Tully's avatar

It also fits for Drumpf's German heritage.

HI2thDoc's avatar

His wives musta called him Mr UTI

Ole Anderson's avatar

Sharon- you’ve never eaten anything that fell on a clean floor? Then you are probably one of the very few who haven’t.

I don’t want to invoke the 2 second rule but it’s really not likely to make you sick. And if you scrupulously avoid all germs your entire life then your immune system will be underdeveloped and unable to counter any serious germs that may come your way later.

Sharon Hudnall's avatar

Ole, he scooped some glob of food off the floor of the FOX NEWS STUDIO and was videotaped doing it. Impressed the blondes, I'm sure.

Ole Anderson's avatar

Yes, I should have considered that it wasn’t a ritz cracker with spread that landed right side up but a grotesque scarfing of some goop that should have gone straight into the trash. I forgot who we were talking about for a moment, Oil slick Pete.

KP Johnson Austin, TX's avatar

Yes--And that's why he is the secretary of HHS. He's a medical expert....a brilliant scientist.

Tully's avatar

And an uneducated one at that! The best of the best - fits so well in the Drumpf biosphere.

BluDotInARedSewer's avatar

Yup. And what is he going to do when they get some gawdawful case of MRSA or worse? Rub dead-whale blubber on it? I’m sure has a boatload of it.

Tully's avatar

E Coli would be the first likely illness result of their stupidity. Lots of bloody diarrhea. And, sometimes deadly.

Carthago Delenda Est's avatar

C. Diff has entered the chat.

Liz and Max the No. 1 Cat's avatar

One hopes the grandkids' parents had sense enough to vaccinate their kids.

BluDotInARedSewer's avatar

Vaccines won’t help if you have a break in your skin and MRSA or some other nasty bacteria gets in.

Sheila D's avatar

Why TF didn't their parents intervene? They were there with them.

Tully's avatar

Maybe they can't read the signs? Either uneducated or worm-brain-warped also.

Or, they were there for the photo op of a 'happy family' enjoying the water without recognizing other people would know where they were. These people are just conceited dimwits.

Jeff, why is MSM not asking “Real World “Duffy what happened to the $14.5 Billion that was passed in the Infrastructure bill to update airports when he lies that the Biden administration did nothing to upgrade airports?

Jeff Tiedrich's avatar

Major Kong's avatar

Just the last 48 hours?

Nancy Lent Lanoue's avatar

Where did that money go I wonder🤫

Kay-El's avatar

I take two generics. One used to cost me $20 for a 3 month supply, the other didn’t cost anything. After Biden’s negotiation, both were free. Even after tampering with Biden’s deal both still are. What a failure! 🙄

Michael Guenon's avatar

My prescriptions (a statin, a BP med, and an acid reflux) were $5 co-pay last year, now $15. My monthly drug plan (AARP/United Healthcare) was $40 two years ago. It is now $115 and change. My teacher retirement increases 2% a year. The math is not complicated.

HI2thDoc's avatar

You obviously know and are referring to real math. MAGA math tells the cultists that paying more is somehow good for them, thank you Mr. President!

Walt Svirsky's avatar

China will pay the difference.

Sooz Hall's avatar

👏🏻😂👏🏻😂👏🏻😂

Kay-El's avatar

Yep, when I was on a PPO plan the costs were never stable, rising every year, usually more than the cost of living. I went to a HMO, not because I like it, but it keeps the costs down (my monthly premium actually went down. When the hell does that ever happen?) I can’t recommend it for everyone as YMMV depending on where you live, but right now it works.

Walt Svirsky's avatar

American healthcare was surrendered to the oligarchs when it became a “for profit” enterprise. In just the last 10 years I’ve experienced a significant decline in the availability and the quality of care I have received. Oh yeah, it cost shit ton$ more, too.

Mary Hall's avatar

Before I turned 65, I had insurance through the ACA exchange in WA. The best deal I could find was about $750 a month with a $6200 deductible. For that I was allowed to have one physical every TWO years and a "free" flu shot every year. Whaddabunchabullshit!!!

Kay-El's avatar

Yep, I had something similar. Mine was a bit cheaper because I qualified for subsidies.

Mary Greenwald's avatar

Get a different drug plan. I use Welcare.

longtimebirdwatcher's avatar

Let me get this straight. Your monthly drug plan is a combination of AARP and United Healthcare? Not one, but two fraudulent organizations? You'd be better off in California with Bronze coverage.

meryl selig's avatar

United Healthcare is a racket ….

Sooz Hall's avatar

AARP offers a health plan through UHC. Sometimes it’s the only reasonable option, as in, if you retire out of the state you worked in, there’s only one plan offered. I do agree with your evaluation of AARP though. As Dr. Glaucomflecken says, their company policy is “We Are Evil!”

Carthago Delenda Est's avatar

Unfortunately for me, I have the same combo as my Medicare secondary. When open enrollment rolled around, (as it does every year) I examined my options and this was still the best one for me.

I have never ‘joined’ AARP, and never will, mostly because they’re a racket and partly because they think my name is Maria. Which it is not.

Michael Guenon's avatar

I am not destitute. . . yet. In 2018, when I retired and hopped on Medicare (traditional) and added Supplemental F and prescription plan, I was paying $28 a month for drug plan. My prescriptions are still the same.

Walt Svirsky's avatar

Michael, I’m guessing you are on “Tier 3” drugs. Many have been around since the 50’s, like blood pressure meds and such. Those costs have remained fairly stable. However , once you move into the Tier 2 and Tier 1 drugs, they nail you. The way Big Pharma has manipulated our government to do their bidding at the expense of most everyone in our country is a sad commentary.

Anyone thinking maybe HE'S taking the "fat shot" on the sly?

Booby Brainworm is going to have people following his example, I'm sure. What's worse than sewer clowns (and that particular clown WAS swimming in the sewr)? It's what we have.

Chris Hierholzer's avatar

Donny was talking about himself with the fat drug. He talks to himself....

That's how he comes up with these wonderful ideas.

meryl selig's avatar

Totally agree!!! He was projecting and creating this fat super successful businessman that he respected (rich rich rich… by his money-metric, a super achiever) with his deep insecurities about his appearance… probably got a lot of shit from is family about his weight etc…. So fat! Needed the fat shot! Fat shot not working!

The fact the imaginary friend called him “president” is also a giveaway

shee-rah's avatar

Dumbass just needs to ditch the McDonald’s, and he’d drop some weight. Saudi Arabia had an entire McD trailer set up for Donny’s delight.

shee-rah's avatar

Yes. I saw it on the news this morning.

KP Johnson Austin, TX's avatar

Yup. It's him. He's brilliant and rich...and still fat.

Deborah Hunter's avatar

He may lose weight, but there's no shot for ugly and stupid.

Sharon Hudnall's avatar

And "highly neurotic." Why would he throw that in unless he thinks that's a good thing.

EFS's avatar

Before Trump's presidencies, I never wished that anyone would just die. I don't appreciate feeling this way.

Cathy 98280's avatar

I know. I don’t want to be the person I’ve become, who every morning asks, “Is he dead yet?” 🥺

Teresa G's avatar

Why are people acting like EOs are law then?

Especially when a vast majority of of them don’t just address the executive branch at all.

Dave Drell's avatar

Exactly! NOT ENFORCEABLE- no matter what Donny Two-Dolls says!

Jan Moon's avatar

I'm repeating myself here, but does anyone remember Paul Begala, who famously said, "Stroke of the pen, law of the land. Kinda cool." The thing is, much of the assembled multitude actually believes that about an executive order. What is wrong with people? Guess it's Begala's fault,

Robert Eckert's avatar

I vaguely remember the name but not who he was, and don't remember that quote.

Jan Moon's avatar

Clinton advisor. 1998. I'm dating myself but I remember the quote like it was yesterday. I googled him from the quote. Yeah I know, too much time on my hands.

Kay's avatar

I wondered the same thing. If an EO is meant for only the executive branch why are they followed as law? Are there really that many followers of trump and his band of misfits or that

many stupid people?

Krista Allen's avatar

I watched the video of the Convicted Felon's rambling "fat shot" speech and was struck by how much more orange he is. Like, highlighter orange. The man is clearly in dire need of mental health services.

Walt Svirsky's avatar

He must insist on doing his own face paint. There are splotches that remind me of my mom at 92 trying to do her own makeup.

Dave Drell's avatar

As the Beatles sang:

DJ Headthrob's avatar

More like Mean Mr. Mustard-patch.

KP Johnson Austin, TX's avatar

Wondering WHAT IN THE HELL it will take for even five percent of his followers to begin to question is mental acuity. Will that ever happen???!!!!?

Walt Svirsky's avatar

KP, I asked myself the same question…back in 2016!

DJ Headthrob's avatar

I think about this all the time. The short answer is NEVER. As Nathanael West wrote, "Nothing is sadder than the truly monstrous."

Tully's avatar

People with the mindset or brain chemistry of those who support Drumpf will never be free to change as it would be too much of a shock to their system to admit they were wrong. It would take cult level therapy to do it. And, after Drumpf, they'll most likely find another evil persona or cause to support. Happens with those who hate the lives they have and look for someone to save them, or at least to verbalize the hate they feel for anyone they think put them where they are. It's always against the "others" - anyone outside their little enclaves - anyone who is happy, or the immigrants, or the POC, or the women libbers that turn their souls.

shee-rah's avatar

The Jim Jones effect. Those folks realized the truth when it was too late. The maggots are still drinking the Cool Aid.

DJ Headthrob's avatar

In Medieval literature that kind of face was always the sign of the devil. Glad to see we're far more evolved these days.

Carthago Delenda Est's avatar

Or some gay friends. Gay friends would never let him go out in public like that.

eliza james's avatar

Everything that Biden accomplished that is reversed by Trump is an opening for him to take bribes from whomever will participate, the newest target being Big Pharma execs. The money will go directly into his pocket. This so-called presidency will be nothing more than the biggest grift in all of history. Meanwhile, MAGAs dropping like flies because they can't afford healthcare, medication, rent, groceries and so on.... tragic.

meryl selig's avatar

Not dropping fast enough!!!

Wendy The Druid 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈🌈's avatar

Jeff, watching the GOP eat itself over the budget appropriations bill that they are trying to pass, which is showing that hardline Republicans versus old school. Republicans probably means that budget appropriation’s bill is never going to pass, on top of the fact that the drug executive order, is all bluster because all of that spending has to be worked out by Congress, which will very likely be worked out in the budget appropriations Bill, which is destined to fucking fail.

And here is another happy piece under Transactional Trump, the leaders of religious groups are mad at him. https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2025/5/12/2321933/-Trump-is-doing-a-terrific-job-pissing-off-religious-groups?detail=emaildkre

So, Donald will come in first place as the worst US president in all history. That should make him super happy.

Patty Mooney's avatar

47 is worse than 45 who was deemed the worst president in history.

Dave Drell's avatar

Patty Mooney's avatar

It's a perfect storm arisen from collective apathy and gullibility in the face of unfettered crime.

DJ Headthrob's avatar

If it does come down to a contest, look for him to denigrate James Buchanan, Millard Fillmore and Herbert Hoover. And that "low-energy" Calvin Coolidge.

Linda Weide's avatar

And, he is just getting started. I am numb already and could hardly work up a righteous indignation with the damn plane from Qatar, because these are the known things. I am sure for every penny we get to see, there are many, many more we don't get to see The Transactional Trump getting.

DJ Headthrob's avatar

It's funny, I must have read damn near every book that was published after the first Trump administration. And they all say pretty much the same thing: Never has one man been so unprepared, unqualified and downright callous. Not to mention made a mockery of what is arguably the most important job on this poor, doomed planet. And after all that THEY VOTED FOR HIM AGAIN. No, as Doctor Seuss observed, you can't teach a Sneetch.

Linda Weide's avatar

A friend's partner would say there are people who learn and in 20 years they learn 20 years worth of things, and there are people who for 20 years just keep repeating what they were doing the first year. Here however, we see regression. They voted for him again, or for the first time because they lack imagination, and have poor memories. They forgot what it was like to live under constant chaos, something I never wanted to experience again.

Robert Eckert's avatar

When people used to say to me that Dubya was the worst President ever, I would reply that Buchanan's record was hard to break: at least W finished with all the States he started with. But Trump made me reconsider: however poorly Buchanan handled the secession crisis, at least he didn't invite Confederates to sack the Capitol.

Cheryl ODonnell's avatar

I watched that godawful display of incoherence from Trump. I usually ignore them, but wanted to see what he said about prescription drugs. Let’s not forget that a big part of his motivation had to do with European countries being mean to him by stealing all the low prices. Leading to the toddler foot-stomping demand that our country just get the lowest prices. How the fuck is that supposed to work? Always the grievance factor. Everything else was all promises. I’m sure the base loved it, since it will require no thinking to nod their heads in blind adulation.

Sharon Hudnall's avatar

His brilliant move to "equalize" (a word he just invented) drug pricing is to demand that drugs prices be raised in European countries. Or, he threatened, they won't be allowed to sell their cars in the U.S. He really believes those all-powerful tariffs have made him the Master of the Universe.

Amy's avatar

He’s doing it so the wealthy chunks don’t have to travel to Europe to get it cheaper. There’s no way he would do this for the average citizen

Jeff Tiedrich's avatar

trust me, the wealthy don't give a shit about how much prescription drugs cost. they don't even notice

meryl selig's avatar

So true Jeff. I live in the wealthiest area of Silicon Valley. Not even a ripple of financial “ouch” in this enclave. Everyone gets exhilarated when home prices keep rising to uber-astronomical prices… but the people who do the work at homes and businesses commute from 1-2 hours away. Oh boy!! Our home prices are stratospheric!! And we rely on non-native born non-whites to do the work. Entirely. Drug, food or entertainment prices are not a topic, ever, anywhere.

Walt Svirsky's avatar

They all get a piece.

Robert Eckert's avatar

More like, he wants Big Pharma to stop selling to Europe until the EU lets them price gouge there as extremely as they do in the US.
