yesterday was another one of those days where you simply could not escape the stupid. it was all over the place. here a stupid, there a stupid, everywhere a stupid stupid — and you know what that means: it’s time once again to drag out the old Big Wheel of Moron™, give it a vigorous spin, and see where it lands. ready? here we go.
oh look — the saddest man in the universe is having an even bigger sad right now.
Milo Yiannopoulos: “I didn’t really understand the physical reality of how institutionalized the brutality is in America. the manner in which they arrest you, they put you in manacles, everybody is arrested like an MS 13 gang member. it was physically degrading. It was frightening. I don’t think I’ve ever been frightened like that before. I was weeping like an old woman for an hour. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.”
look, Milo’s not wrong about how demonically medieval ICE is, in their treatment of the unfortunate souls in their custody — but at the same time, he can fuck all the way off, because Milo openly rooted for this level of brutality to be directed at immigrants.
Milo was totally down with ICE’s sadistic tactics, right up until the moment that the handcuffs closed around his wrists — and that’s his real complaint: they treated him like an ‘MS13 gang member.’ — like a brown person. the horror!
Milo should be thanking his lucky stars how relatively good he got it. he was detained, and twenty-four hours later, he was back in the land of his birth.
he wasn’t disappeared for weeks or months into some hellish detention center with too few beds and inadequate bathroom facilities. he didn’t have his medical needs ignored. he didn’t get deported to Uganda. he didn’t end up in some Salvadoran slave-labor gulag. he didn’t fucking die in custody, and then have his death covered up by ICE.
so shut the fuck up, Milo. get a little perspective, and stop whining on TV.
okay, I’d better calm down and spin that Big Wheel of Moron™ again, before the throbbing vein in my forehead explodes. here we go—
it’s stunning how United States Vice President Couchfuck McGee can never have a normal human response to anything.
“we’re about to celebrate the 25th year [of 9/11].”
granted, the furniture molester corrects himself — but why is ‘celebrate’ where is brain goes first? who does that?
how does this guy always manage to turn every public appearance into a minefield of awkwardness?
‘so, how long have you been celebrating 9/11? HA HA, THAT’S GREAT.’
hey, do you know who actually did celebrate on 9/11?
of course you do. while the rest of us were freaking out over the smoking pile of rubble where the Twin Towers used to be, Little Donny Fuckface was phoning into TV stations to brag about how he now had the tallest building in lower Manhattan.
ugh, what an asshole. what a totally inappropriate thing to say. once a psychopath, always a psychopath.
okay, let’s give that wheel another spin—
now, somebody explain explain to me, what in the small-batch artisanal fuck is going on here?
Sean Duffy: “I’m gonna give you my take on Sydney Sweeney’s breasts… God made us a certain way, to appreciate and want to mate with a woman.”
what, what? who asked for this?
I just made a list of all the things I want in this world, and do you know what was the very last thing on that list? Sean Duffy’s take on Sydney Sweeny’s bodacious ta-tas.
doesn’t this guy have a job to do? isn’t he, y’know, in charge of making sure planes don’t fall from the sky? shouldn’t he be focusing that, instead of showing up on Fox News to yammer about some actress’s blouse puppies?
oh, and men — can we talk? women are not put on this earth as objects for you to gawk at. and we certainly do not need to hear your theories about ‘why are breasts.’
for fuck’s sake, keep it to yourself.
my god. let’s get out of here, and let the Big Wheel do its thing again—
folks, that smug, haughty bastard Soybean Scott Bessent is hella mad right now. he’s furious as fuck over the fact that our nation’s press keeps asking Iran for their side of the story.
“everyone in this audience and every news outlet should be ashamed for taking a lying regime at face value.”
holy shit, my irony detector just started making shrieking noises.
‘taking a lying regime at face value’ is pretty much the job description of the White House press corps these days. they’re expected to sit quietly and dutifully transcribe the fibs and fabrications that seep from Dear Leader’s rancid anus-mouth.
heaven forfend should one of them have the temerity to question any of Donny’s kingly pronouncements — especially if the questioner is a woman.
but there’s one thing I need to know: why is the Secretary of the Treasury giving updates on the state of the don’t-you-dare-call-it-a-war on Iran? shouldn’t that be the job of someone at the Pentagon? what happened, did Piss-Drunk Pete pass out under a pile of empty vodka bottles again?
did they need to press Soybean Scott into service at the last minute? that’s the only logical reason for it.
none of this makes one lick of sense. Donny’s entire cabinet is made up of dumbfucks who have no qualifications for the jobs they’ve been given — and then they’re sent out to freelance on shit they know even less about.
why is the Transportation Secretary on Fox News, opining on some woman’s knockers?
why is Couchfuck McGee even allowed out in public?
it’s all so eternally fucking dumb.
and, finally, we have this.
Fox News yammering yutz: “the problem is teens and young adults. from ages 15–19, the fertility rate is down 70% in the last 2 decades, which means we are telling people who are young not to have babies.”
what did we all just listen to? is this guy actually complaining that not enough teenage girls are getting preggers?
I don’t even know what to say. I am speechless. I am literally without speech.
I think that’s more than enough stupid for one day. it’s time for some Daily Claudia.
this is a bittersweet day for me. Ms Spouse and I were married on September 2, 1984. if she were still with us, we would be celebrating our 42nd anniversary today.
here’s our wedding photo.
I miss her so much.
have a great Wednesday, everyone.
here’s your daily reminder that I can be found on Blue Sky at this link.
this is going to be my closing message for the foreseeable future:
practice self-care. do what you need to do to keep sane. if that means you need to disengage with my daily posts for a while, I get it. this community of ours will still be here when you return.
to all the people who have signed on in the days since the election, welcome aboard. settle in as we all try to deal with the shitfuckery that’s ahead of us.
we are all in this together, and we are all here for each other.

today in Shit That Happened While I Was Busy Writing This Shit—
"US-Iran hostilities resume amid concerns at Hegseth’s military leadership"
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/sep/02/first-thing-us-iran-hostilities-resume-concern-hegseth-military-leadership?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Other
oh, NOW there are concerns about Piss-Drunk Pete's leadership? fuckface should have been fired four weeks into his tenure, when he butt-dialed classified war plans to a reporter
Love the wedding photo you shared today, Jeff.
