The thing I learned after getting into a top notch grad school is that once you are there you realize that a large percentage of students are there because of rich parents, especially if their parents were allumi. A big donation to the school doesnt hurt. And the course work, at least in non science or medical disciplines are not quite as rigorous as you would think. Look at Robert F. Kennedy Jr. He has advanced degrees from a variety of high profile Universities. And without question the guy is as dumb as a box of rocks. And then there is Trump. I read that he was able to make multi million dollar real estate deals due to his rich and well known father, and failed at everything, but got bailed everytime.

It was most likely trolls, and Amazon said it was going to set it up so that only actual purchasers could write reviews. I don't think that's going to help much. I don't think the sales figures are very good, and the few professional critics I've read have said it's terrible.
