Hilarious, as usual! I actually put Mitch’s “proof of life” photo through some AI detector and it said it was “21% Real.” I’ve seen other people surmise that this is probably a real picture(s) of them both, but from about five years ago, cobbled together with a hospital bed to look “authentic.”

You can go into any AI application (like ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, etc.) and prompt it to create a picture of a person. These people probably asked for a picture of Mitch and his wife. They could have then asked for the picture to include a newspaper for the current date. Basically, you give the AI prompts (hospical room, etc.) until you arrive at the image you want.
