I never saw Spinal Tap! Now I'm going to have to dig up a vid of it. My list of 'musts' is growing exponentially, the more I hang out in here. ;) Gad, he's such a whiny, desperately-seeking daddy's approval little baby. Seriously, his claim to have 'built' anything is SO egregious it makes me want to scream. He NEVER BUILT A SINGLE THING! Banks provided the cash, architects created the designs; contractors, electricians, plumbers, decorators did ALL the work and every one of them got screwed out of their rightful pay as this fugly creep sat on his azz doing NOTHING but stuffing his face with McDonalds and taking credit while not having a single fucking CLUE how a building, apartment, office, casino or ANYTHING actually gets done. His sole 'contribution'? Sticking that fake-azz name on it afterwards. 'Mine, mine, all mine!' Oh, he ALSO was reported to have made some 'deals' with the mob for 'cheap-imported-concrete', usually Chinese, which is why the buildings with HIS name on them should never be trusted. In case some here still aren't aware, when the producers of that stupid show 'apprentice' showed up to film, they were appalled by the actual 'office' he used. It was horrible: the cheapest crap carpet (or linoleum) and dirty, rented, dinged up office 'furniture' they couldn't possibly use. They were forced to BUILD A SET as 'befits' an actual 'Executive' to make him appear wealthy - just for the show! Noel Caswell verifies all of this. Jeff's right about everything! frump's entire life has been smoke and mirrors.

THIS is actually true: his parents did try to help and then stop his vicious behaviour by trying everything then sending him to military school to 'fix' him. Nothing worked, unfortunately. His unrelenting attacks on his 5yr old brother when HE was 7 led to the dumping of the huge bowl of mashed potatoes on his head by his then 12yr old brother - the family collapsing with laughter, which so enraged and 'humiliated' him he's never gotten over it and is still trying to punish those who rightfully laugh at him.

Now THEY were safe in an off-site location, you can see other republicans laughing and joking - not a care in the World; but Nancy knew her staff had taken refuge in her office and was obviously worried about their safety, as she was about everyone else left behind, as well as all of those Capitol Police beaten to the point of death by the insurrectionists. Her and Chuck Schumer's voices kept rising as they were fobbed off BY the WH - refusing to take their calls AND refusing to send help! Scalise is seen standing RIGHT THERE and LISTENING INTENTLY! Later, he claimed either not to have been there OR that neither Pelosi nor Schumer did anything to get help! AND then the lies started about it being HER responsibility to call out the Guard. Wut?! States Rights? I thought that dated back to the pre-civil war. But California can certainly claim States Rights. And Nations rights, for that matter. You do know that even now, this area of Southern California is, along with the Valley, where t's support in California is, right? And where his golf club is. Who picked this? Someone who's still in kindergarten?

Yep, as FF said conservatives invoke states' rights to defend owning slaves or suppressing minority voters or any of the evil oppressive shit they pull. So it's funny when we point out states' rights to resist this turn to open authoritarianism.

My sign for Saturday is UNPAID PROTESTER. Meidas Touch Network reports that Donny is so afraid of No Kings day that he's going to have a Navy vessel off the coast of San Diego fire missles into Camp Pendleton. Celebratory missles donchaknow in honor of the Marines, fired across one of the most populated urban landscapes in California. They're going to close down I-5, the major north/south route. The whole point is upstaging and blocking protest. If this is bullshit, somebody weigh in.

Cyndi's avatar

Somehow I suspect that this will bring more people to the protest. Doesn't having water to ground missiles going over your head sound like a great reason to demand a change in government!

Oceanside, California is my hometown. My father was a career Marine. I can’t imagine the point of firing live missiles into Pendleton, are they trying to kill people or start fires? I am so effing sick of their destructive shit.

I know the area well. This plan is so nuts. I wonder if they hope a missle will go awry.

Every time that I have to attend meetings in Harvard Square, the epicenter of woke, I keep expecting to come under missile fire from the regime. Thankfully I get to hang out during lunch people watching, reveling in the diversity.

more than hope? false flag? This nonsense sounds fricking crazy to me, what with Piss-Drunk Pete Kegstand at the Department of Masculine Identity Issues and the entire rest of the crew of incompetents who shouldn't be anywhere near a launch button--ANY launch button.

This is pure intimidation tactics and a distraction for the gullible legacy media, so they won't focus on the 12+ million who will turn out for this NO KINGS/WE LOVE AMERICAN DEMOCRACY rally.

I totally don't understand this, and I've read about it in several places. Are they meaning to shoot missiles INTO a Marine training base? Missiles that will explode? I mean, obviously, there has to be a lot of open ground, but how would they expect to contain the blast radius and control the damage? To me, this sounds insane. It isn't hand grenade practice. But maybe I just don't know enough about this stuff...?

Yeah, it's bullshit. But we're playing Whack-A-Mole and Donny has only a few mallets, and most of those are merely ceremonial.

The Meidas guys? No, I don't trust them worth a shit. They click-bait you in with some 'catastrophe' headline and then just breathlessly blather about shit I already know. They're just noisy.

Amen. Also, I think only half is giving them too much credit. They loathe their own cult members, too.

The $40 billion to Argentina should be the tipping point for any of the "America First" clowns, but, of course, if the richest guys get another bag full of cash from the deal, it's a-okay.

And now RFK, Jr. is saying we have to stop trusting the experts. He says everybody should "Do thEIr Own ReSEarCH". As if the average person has the time or, frankly, the brain power to do that. And I include myself in that category. Not to mention that he misses the obvious end point to that - if, somehow, we did all manage to do that, then we would all be experts, but no one should listen to us. How does that work?

I have to wonder, if RFK, Jr.'s car breaks down is he going to take it to his accountant? If he needed open heart surgery, would he call a plumber? These people just have their heads so far up their own ass, they can't realize how stupid they sound.

Is there no one left to shut down Trump’s spending spree at least until ACA subsidies are restored&Medicaid is in place?

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that the person sending money to Argentina, giving big tax breaks to cronies&building monuments to himself is really the person who hates America.

Essentially there is no money to spend right now. (Yeah, yeah, budget analysts. I know it’s more complicated than that.)

The ballroom is being built with private funds. So too will the arch probably. So that gets around not having a budget. If it’s being built with government dollars, then one of his suckophants will be in Big trouble for fiscal law violations.

If you think Trump is not spending federal money you haven’t looked at the debt/deficit.

$20billian+$20billion = $40billion to Argentina.

We pay taxes to take care of the American people. Hospitals, schools, roads, infra structure. Social Security would be just fine if Ronald Reagan didn’t loot it. Please don’t tell me there’s no money for ACA subsidies&Medicaid.

And private funds are paying for unapproved plans for Trump is just horse crap.

You sound very silly.
