After spending 4.5 months getting my mother back onto a medicare plan that paid for her primary care, and getting bilked out of over $2000 dollars paying some back bills, which we then got double billed for by the collection agency and the medical center, both of which we paid, although one not intentionally, and we are waiting to get it back, because they should have been covered by her supplemental insurance, I find out that she has to pay a lot for dental care. It just sucks. I now have to find her basic dental insurance. It is crazy. So, my mom, now that she does not work, does not have dental insurance because basic medicare does not cover dental. As a plan it is flawed.
My friend gave me a dire warning last week citing its been bad since the "Big, beautiful bill." More layoffs for hospital staff and more on the way- she can feel it coming. No overtime, no education if it's slow. I'm legit worried about our health care system.

You will find that basic dental insurance (the only kind that's offered so far as I can tell) doesn't cover much of anything.
Just got kicked off of my work-related dental care and went to the dentist recommended for our coverage and they would NOT even do a cleaning.
