Frankly, I would pay more attention to the SCOTUS. The corrupt, far-right-wing majority is doing and undoing all the legislative work for the country while the R House majority's main function is to distract the American people and weaken democracy with their obstruction circus. The R appointed SCOTUS majority has passed anti-democratic legislation that only a small minority of the American people would ever vote for and defied a bi-partisan consensus over the last 50-100 hundred years including controlling the amount of money in our politics, establishing basic and fair voting rights, leaving pragmatic, personal and private issues up to adults and families, and holding corporations accountable for their environmental and existential threats.

Women had more reproductive freedom during the period the Founders were writing the Constitution than they have in many Red states today. McCain-Feingold was passed as recently as 2002 only to be overruled by Citizens United in 2010. Trump transformed the EPA efforts to limit environmental harm into a war on America, while cancer, respiratory disease, and birth defect rates have soared, and after gutting The Voting Rights Act, every American has observed how vital it is to our democracy to protect the right to vote and how radically wrong from an empirical basis the Court's ideological musings were.

If the five radical justices had any shame, instead of a Corporate-Religious mission to distort the Constitution they would reverse their corruption and respect the democratic will of the American people expressed historically through bi-partisan Congressional agreement. Absolute power corrupts, especially with this bunch.

By the way, screw the Constitution. We're in the 21st century, not the 18th. This world is so different from when the fucking thing was penned that it may as well be some medieval dukedom.

Consider that six of the justices believe with firm conviction that vital changes can be made by telepathically petititioning a celestial supernatural being.

We are SO fucked. Any educated person who believes in god is psychotic, but it's a psychosis for which we make an exemption.

And, yes, democracy is being dismantled. In a generation we'll (you'll) be ;living in corporate barracks and putting in 18 hour work days in exchange for 2500 calories of crop residue and pink slime. And there will be libertarian shitheads among you who go to great lengths to justify it. You'll sleep on a grass mat and be put out the gate to starve as soon as you begin to weaken, or get sick.

For now let's work on changing the misconception that corporations should be treated like people. Poof, there goes Citizens United and a host of other undemocratic decisions and the possibility of the avoidable future you have envisioned:

Or follow through. People are not immortal, and people can go to jail and even be judicially executed. If corporations are people, they should die after three score and ten, and if they kill people, like the tobacco companies, they should be sent to the gas chamber.

I fear you're correct. She's just clever enough to make her required watching, if just as the court jester.

I assume she and her ilk serve a definite, intended purpose: to make sure democratic government doesn't work. Nothing else explains the near-instant rise of useful idiots like her.

Unfortunately you seem to have fallen into the trap. If the media stops publishing all her antics she’ll lose her power. As P.T, Barnum said, “say anything you like about me, but spell my name right.” Forget about her. She’s not worth the ink - or time - or whatever.

MTG is a true believer. Boebert is probably not even conscious, but operates on taxis for attention like Amoeba does for carbohydrate concentration.

Both should be in cars that get turned into cubes.

Marge is dangerously an idiot. We need to clean sweep her back to Georgia and out of politics. She makes a great howler monkey, though.

No, it’s not an act. MTG is as she presents. A moron. She’s too ignorant to read anything and she’s still incapable of independent thought.
