White Christian Nationalists seem to forget that Jesus was an itinerant Jewish teacher with brown skin. He walked from town to town in a ragged robe and sandals. Imagine if Jesus showed up in a white mega church today!

They will never accept that fact , and will always assume that because Jesus was born of God , that meant he was white. Those types are אידיוטים

An old joke has it that a blonde was terribly surprised to hear that Jesus was Jewish: "Really? That must have been awkward, what with his Mom being Catholic and all..."

They would kill him again. It was the same tribe of putzes who killed him the first time. They wanted an avenging angel but instead got a Prince of Peace. Look at the murder and retribution in the Middle East. This is what Jesus tried to stop.

Probably because they so rarely read their book. And they 'think' "White" is the default setting.

Jeff, I far more respect the Judaic community than ever I will respect the Christian community.

Both "the Judaic community" and "the Christian community" are diverse indeed -- so diverse that both contain strenuous internal disagreement. And some might find that they have more in common on some issues with members of the other community than with their own co-religionists. I realized decades ago that fundamentalist Christians, Jews, Muslims, and Hindus have more in common with each other than they do with more tolerant or liberal members of their own tradition. (Hint: Misogyny is a common thread.)

Fundamentalist 'anything' must be avoided at all costs. All are as dangerous as the next regardless of stated religion.

In reference to the U.S. Constitution, "originalist" serves a similar, secular purpose. If it attaches to anything else -- avoid it!

I read yesterday that a former Pope Leo was the first to criticize slavery. It must not be true, though, because the magats aren’t including it in their grievance list. I also read his heritage isn’t quite white enough for them, either.
