They still support him for different reasons. Here's my short list. They hate the same people who he enjoys hurting. They don't care about anything other than he is pro- life. They desire an all white Christian straight male country. They do not read, and are unaware of day to day political updates other than what they hear on FOX news.
This is why Republicans are so obsessed with groomers in the Democratic party, because they know of which they speak. They are clearly worried about competition in grooming children to be sexually compliant because that is their thing. Over and over we are reading about these Republican groomers. They want a president who is one of them not in a religious way, but in a way where they can get away with grooming and sexually harassing and assaulting women because he does it too.
Let’s just pretend it was Obama who did all this. From “good people on both sides” to all the gaffes to the Bible incident to Jan 6 to these files. Would he still be a free man let alone able to be the front runner for his party for POTUS? The hypocrisy and utter absence of morals and decency just blows my mind.

But, way back in 79 when I was stationed in NJ, down the road from the base was a "no tell motel" with a bar attached. It was owned by a certain family (whose members were, shall we say, not related by blood but other ties), and my roomie and I worked there as bar backs for a few months.
One night tRump was on the news for some reason, (might have been a story about one of his crap properties in NYC), and the owner looked at him and said "what a fesso! That guy wants so bad to be one of us, but he just can't keep his mouth shut!"
All these years later, it would appear my erstwhile boss was correct.
