SCOTUS taking this appeal is a travesty; delaying oral arguments until April 22 is layering travesty upon travesty. What were they thinking? If the trial proceedings manage to start in June it will be a miracle,, because who knows how long the SC will take to actually come to a decision. There will be no chance of different appeals courts coming up with different decisions (like the 11th circuit in Florida where Drumpf is pulling his same "I am above the law" bullshit). SCOTUS taking this appeal is a travesty; delaying oral arguments until April 22 is layering travesty upon travesty. What were they thinking? If the trial proceedings manage to start in June it will be a miracle,, because who knows how long the SC will take to actually come to a decision. I believe it was Neil Katyal I heard last night on The Last Word say that the only good thing that could come out of the Supreme Court taking this case is that it will be a definitive decision for the country. There will be no chance of different appeals courts coming up with different decisions (like the 11th circuit in Florida where Drumpf is pulling his same "I am above the law" bullshit). That being said, it's absolute bullshit that they are waiting till April 22nd. The DC ruling sounded pretty fucking iron clad to me, and you know Jack Smith is going to bring out the howitzers to shred any argument Drumpf's lawyers came up with while taking a dump. This all could've been done by the end of March.
