oh, and this is your occasional reminder that 30 years ago, Jeanine Pirro was part of my extended social circle, and I may have gotten drunk with her. or maybe not. all I'm saying is I'm not saying

HI2thDoc's avatar

Schrodinger's Social Souse Society

Jeff Tiedrich's avatar

I've def gotten drunk with Fred Trump III (Mary's brother) more than once

arne link's avatar

My goodness, Jeff. There are layers upon layers that we your readers don't know about. This could get interesting...

Jeff Tiedrich's avatar

this was in the 2000s. we were regulars at the same bar in Manhattan, back when Donny was just a clown and not a menace, so he was never a topic of conversation

Miselle's avatar

I'm waiting for the autobiography. C'mon--there has to be at least one literary agent reading Jeff! What are you waiting for?!

michellefromchicago's avatar

Yes, Jeff -- do tell!!!

Susan Niemann's avatar

Oooooohhhh....that must have been interesting!

HI2thDoc's avatar

Well, he's a normal. non-sociopathic human being with no delusions of sycophancy who did not bug her husband's boat when he was banging someone else on it and then morphed into an attack dog for the worst leader of a republic in world history while committing professional ethical violations left and right

Tonya Browning's avatar

I’d love to have a drink with him! I read his book, & the things Donny put him & his sister through!!

AuntTeeFa's avatar

Waiting for publication of the tales of the mysterious Mr. Tiedrich

Ginny Hall's avatar

Back in maybe 2014 or so, my stepson was in a serious relationship with Jeanine's daughter, who is a lovely, intelligent person, and I'm pretty sure does not share her mother's values. We had visions of having to be at a wedding with the likes of Glenn Beck and of our son having Judge Jeanine for a MIL. Fortunately, they broke up, and they each married other people. I sincerely hope her daughter is very happy, we really liked her. Whenever I see Jeanine in the news, I wonder how her daughter is doing with it.

Leu2500's avatar

Her being drunk is a given?

Gwendolyn Mccarty's avatar

It’s also a given that Pirro will be the next discarded woman in Dimento’s mentally ill, corrupt, incompetent, racist, and drug addicted cabinet.

T L Mills's avatar

When Trump stops bitching about Pirro dropping the case and starts saying what a good job she's doing--that's when she needs to start being very careful at the pedestrian crossings near bus stops.

Elizabeth Johnson's avatar

He’s not nearly as quick to ditch the men, even if they’re equally incompetent. Don’t know why these MAGA women bother: if they want to be part of the Inner Circle, they have to be like Susie Wiles and the Human Printer.

Angie Longenecker's avatar

It’s definitely coming…

Linda Weide's avatar

Lucky it was 30 years ago. I am happy to say that after reading this piece I was just reflecting about how I am never around people that dumb. It is unreal to me that humans can be that stupid because I don't know anyone like the people who populate MAGA and believe all sorts of weird shit. Not in the US and not where I am living now, although I know there are German MAGAs too, and they are called by the most honest of us, NAZIS!

Bob Bowden's avatar

Thanks for that “full disclosure”, Jeff, which I consider to be TMI.

And let’s not forget that in addition to unjustifiably and unrelentingly destroying the good name of Davey Hearn, President Orange Shitler snuffed out the lives of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, both of whom had their lives violently and illegally taken at the age of 37

Chris Hierholzer's avatar

Did she sign a wine box for you?

Nelsonsdad's avatar

I really needed the sad face to click on here - the heart I actually clicked on does not express the sadness I feel for a man who actually might have had Jeanine Pirro in his personal space at some time in his life.

Tanya Castiglione's avatar

I think that is enough Claudiafor me.

Jeff Tiedrich's avatar

can I just note what a remarkable world we live in, where I can type "gash gif" into google and actually get a result I can use?

(does anyone know where that scene is from?)

HI2thDoc's avatar

Yes, Google told me but I ain't sayin'

Joanne Rossmassler Fritz's avatar

I agree with Steve. Please, Doc, tell us poor unsophisticated people who can’t figure it out on our own.

HI2thDoc's avatar

But that would ruin it for the Enquiring Minds Who Want to Know

HI2thDoc's avatar

So I used Google for an image search of that gif and wouldn't ya know it, the video link of YouTube that Google referenced did not have that picture at all. It IDed the right guy, but not the right scene. Gee, thanks, Google AI. Or is it A1?

2Cats2Furious's avatar

It feels like it should be from a Guy Ritchie film.

Maria 🇮🇪's avatar

Yes! I know too where Ye got the GIF cos I recognised the actor. Great film too.

The kkkrazy keeps gettin Krazier Jeff.

Joyce's avatar

I really hope that Hearn's lawyers sue the everlasting crap out of this bunch of incompetents--take a page from Donnie Demento himself, if the case can't go anywhere: just do it in order to be a royal pain in the ass.

I'm waiting for the Demento crew to turn on the nitwit who installed the liner, because you KNOW the nitwit will also immediately turn on Demento and defend himself by pointing out Demento had a caravan drive across the liner..............I'm going to lay in a stock of popcorn.

arne link's avatar

Also, Trump probably took a big bite out of the 14 million or whatever the final grift was.

djw's avatar

Maybe all of it. He has a reputation for not paying contractors, and he's capable of keeping 2 thoughts in his head at 1 time: he can claim on the 1 hand that the problem was vandalism (not admit "guilt") and on the other hand that the job was botched so he doesn't have to pay the contractors.

Mary Hall's avatar

“Finder’s fee.”

Robot Bender's avatar

I agree. I also hope that Pirro is disbarred for her bullshit. I wouldn't hire her to defend me for a traffic ticket.

HI2thDoc's avatar

I wonder if even Fuxed News would take her back.

Suel J's avatar

Maybe she and Jesse waters can collaborate about testosterone. Let's see how riles up she gets him.

HI2thDoc's avatar

Jeanine prolly has more testosterone than Jesse, if voices are an indication

HI2thDoc's avatar

I'm sure that that drive didn't help, and the tire tracks were clearly visible when the Pool was later drained. From early July:

That lazy-assed fool

Rode his motorcade through the Pool

That could have damaged the paint

'Cause it most definitely ain't

Some mythical box-cutter tool

Miselle's avatar

If Hearns started a GoFundMe to hire attorneys, he'd rack in enough $$ to hire an entire law firm.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

I think he will be well represented. Lawyers such as Norm Eisen and his team do this type of thing through their organization which are dedicated to fighting. shit like this.

barb's avatar

There was a GoFundMe set up for Hearn's legal fees which raised a good amount of money.

steve robertshaw's avatar

I read a comment yesterday, I think on the NYT story regarding this, a commenter said he hoped the man could sue for a billion, at least it would be $1 billion less of taxpayer's money that trump couldn't steal himself

HI2thDoc's avatar

Judge Boxwine tried so hard

To please that lying tub o' lard

It was another of his scandals

There were no fucking vandals

She knew she could be disbarred

Mingo's avatar

Will no one rid me of this meddlesome judge?

HI2thDoc's avatar

Nice historical reference. She better watch out that she doesn't get the Thomas Becket treatment. Ya never know with his violent shitbag minions

T L Mills's avatar

And I'm fairly certain Pirro won't gain martyr or sainthood status.

HI2thDoc's avatar

She had better not. Damn, being incompetent and malevolent should never be celebrated, FFS

T L Mills's avatar

Well folks were speculating on Pirro having a similar end to Thomas Becket's at the hands of Henry II's knightly minions who were anxious to ingratiate themselves with Henry. Hers would be at the hands of outraged MAGAs. However, Becket's was a fairly gruesome murder and caused huge public outrage. I wouldn't wish that upon anyone, not even Pirro, as incompetent and amoral as she is.

HI2thDoc's avatar

Yes, her getting sacked and discarded by him as well as disbarred would be enough.

AuntTeeFa's avatar

The Doc proves he’s a bard 🥇

HI2thDoc's avatar

I'm no bard. I'm just a regular guy who is SICK OF THIS SHIT

Dr J's Sanity Space's avatar

Now now Doc, modesty is woke (or unwoke?) 😆😆

I reckon she will be the next gal gone from the admin. Burgum has dough and corporate connections, so he will remain.

Jeff Tiedrich's avatar

and her replacement will be worse

Joyce's avatar

Well, that's a mortal guarantee. Demento can always find someone even worse than the sludge-dwelling low-lifes he hires first. It's as if he has a secret lab that grows them.

Leu2500's avatar

Hopefully not before a Democratic senate in 2027. I don't want Dems to confirm a single of the felon's appointments if they get the majority.

Dana Jae Labrecque's avatar

A secret lab. Haha. Indeed!

Mike Hammer's avatar

True. Unfortunately disbarment can take 1-3 years but we can wait.

michellefromchicago's avatar

I sense many, many disbarments and prosecutions down the road once the grownups are in charge again

Neal Stiffelman's avatar

Hope you’re right.

Bill Corbett's avatar

It will but she’s disbarring herself by attaching to Trumps ass in the first place. What a shit hole!

Miselle's avatar

I've been waiting for nearly a decade for justice.

Preznit Predator seems to have piles

Of lawyers whose shyster wiles

Are used only to distract

From the indisputable fact

That he's all over the Epstein files

arne link's avatar

It will be haba-haba, no doubt. She's still suckling at the public teat, I believe.

Lynn Van Haren's avatar

That secret lab is the Heritage Foundation

Neal Stiffelman's avatar

Obvs. I spent some time cogitating in it. They’ll bring in a Jew (speaking as one myself). Mark my words. They think that he will then be bulletproof.

carolbert55's avatar

plus he's a man - it's the women who are taking the falls

Miselle's avatar

⬆️🎯👏🏼

Mingo's avatar

Of course she will be gone, she's female. Fat Donnie will give her an opportunity to find success elsewhere. Maybe she can join Krusty Gnome at the Shield of America's. Oh and fuck Bergum. I refuse to call him by his anointed title. Was he talking about fat Donnie with this quip, "We won't back down to deranged people who want to destroy, deface or degrade our monuments." Do these people ever look into a mirror?

Old Enough To Know Better's avatar

And Burgum is Trump's corrupt point man for the destruction of our National treasures like parks, Federal lands, National forests, Native American sacred sites and anything else that belongs to us, that they are selling off to their donors.

He's a criminal.

Miselle's avatar

WHY IS THE MEDIA NOT REPORTING UPON THE APPARENT TIRE TRACKS ON THE REFLECTING POOL SURFACE?

INVESIGATIVE JOURNALISTS NEED TO GET TO THE "BOTTOM" OF THE POOL, NO PUN INTENDED!

THE VANDALS WHO DROVE ACROSS IT MUST BE PROSECUTED AND JUSTICE BROUGHT TO THE VOTERS!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!!

(sorry for yelling...with the firehose of news these days, it's hard to be heard)

Leu2500's avatar

"apparent"? we have VIDEO of his effing motorcade driving on it.

Miselle's avatar

Leu2500, while I am a writer (as yet, unpublished, but my day will come) I don't consider myself a journalist, but like Uncle Jeff, trying to be responsible so I said "apparently".

An btw, I just complimented Robot Bender for subscribing to and thus supporting all those independent journalists, and then I looked at your subscriptions. YOU GO!!! Seriously, the world needs people like you!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Joanne Rossmassler Fritz's avatar

I agree but how on earth does anyone have time to read that many subscriptions? There’s no physical way you could keep up with 171 subscriptions in Substack. Smh.

Lois Henry's avatar

Actually, I did read that the drive across the pool didn’t match the apparent line across the bottom of the pool shown in pictures. Speculation allows the possibility that peroxide (used at first to kill the algae), is sometimes used for paint removal and may have contributed to the problem.

Mark Slattery's avatar

Not only should Hearn get a million or two from trump's slush fund, he and his family should have full immunity should they ever touch, dip a toe or take a whiz in any pool (or any body of water) of their choosing..

Susan Niemann's avatar

First: I just love the pictures of Claudia today. 😍

Second: Nice to see Boxwine is at least sober enough to know what career she has left can't go down Donnys Toilet over something this obvious and ridiculous.

When can we get to the part where our government is supposed to take care of people?

michellefromchicago's avatar

Susan, my hubby and I have been bingeing The West Wing. It's our video version of comfort food to see a Democratic administration -- even a fictional one -- that is staffed with smart, ethical people rather than dim bulbs and toadies, and that, even through their mistakes, really is dedicated to improving people's lives and enhancing, rather than degrading, America's standing in the world.

Susan Niemann's avatar

OMG! What a great idea. My staff for Christmas one year gave me the entire WW series. I loved every minute of it... That would be good for my mental health. Thanks for the idea. 👏👏👏

Dr J's Sanity Space's avatar

Michelle- my go-to besides Jeff & other substack products is Mamdani.. what a breath of fresh air

Lynn Van Haren's avatar

I’ve rewatched it 3 times when I need solace

Elizabeth Johnson's avatar

She should have thought of that before she brought the charges and made the dire threats about what she was going to do and how bad it going to be for Hearn.

Mike Hammer's avatar

A fitting end to this Reflection Pool scum madness would be Trump, like narcissus, starring into the pool to see his reflection, then falling in while Rubio and Burgum are called to do pool detail.

Mark Slattery's avatar

I guess Burgum wants to be trump's "pool boy." And with Linsey gone, Marco can be trump's new "ball washer" on (and off) the golf course.

HI2thDoc's avatar

Maybe I didn't look at you

quite as often as I could

Maybe that guy I hired to paint you

Wasn't any fucking good

But that stupid shade of blue I chose

I was too ignorant to know

It would make your water much too warm

And cause the algae bloom to grow

You are always on my mind

You are always on my mind

Miselle's avatar

As a young mother, I recall my pediatrician telling me to not leave a bucket of water around as TODDLERS can drown in a few inches.

Sharon Hudnall's avatar

I'm reflecting back with glee on the meme proudly posted by Trump that showed his fat self, Burghum, Vance, and some AI-concocted woman having a delicious summer float in the newly painted, Old Glory Blue Reflecting Pool (Jeff reposted this). Because he knows a lot about swimming pools....

Douglas Mackay's avatar

You go, Norm. Sue them to the deep end. Are staff of public officials subject to protections from lawsuits? Go after the people who actually do the work of researching, typing, posting, and sharing the necessary documents that end up destroying innocent lives. Pirro has no ethical standards but can be sanctioned.

Lucinda Abra's avatar

Occasionally, I work on waterproofing sculptures with polyurea, the same sort of stuff that was used on our reflecting pool. It was obvious to me that putting this stuff on a damp surface wouldn't hold. When the SlashGashWizPrez and his secret service drove inside the pool while it was curing, that was the chef's kiss. The 14 million was just another kickback. Maybe someday, we will be able to prove it, after Cannon finally releases the Smith truth of the secret, stashed docs, and the Epstein files see the light of day.

But ya gotta admit, the reflecting pool turned into a steaming pool of acid green algae, with the center pulling from the seams, is a pretty damn good analogy for this whole rotten mess of corruption.

Clyde Kaplan's avatar

I have two comments this morning:

1. Trump wrote: "...a big 86 47 emblazoned in giant letters." I may be wrong, but aren't 8,6,4,and 7 numbers, not letters?

2. How long before Jeanine Pirro gets a nickname?

Anne's avatar

re the 8647 pic - that's the first time I saw a clear picture of the 8647 on grass - the ones I saw before weren't that sharp - so guess "thanks, trump, for posting such a nice picture"?

HI2thDoc's avatar

Maybe his stooges photoshopped or AI-ed it, like the fake MS-13 tatts on Kilmar Abrego Garcia's knuckles

HI2thDoc's avatar

Legal Zero Pirro?

Lynn Van Haren's avatar

Doesn’t Pirro already have the nickname Boxwine?

Frosty McGillicuddy's avatar

I swear they're a bunch of dumb drunks

Who think that we are all punks

"Let's stop education

And ease their frustration!"

But still... Drumpf smells like a skunk.

He's rotting from deep down inside

A spoiled baby man can't hide

From his issues within

His father's old sin

Takes its toll, we will NOT ABIDE!

Kay-El's avatar

Donny 100% disagreed with Boxwine? Not 300%, 600% nor 1000%? He’s slipping. 🙄

Mary Hall's avatar

We have photographic evidence of vandalism— it happened when T💩p stupidly and arrogantly drove his motorcade through the freshly painted Reflection Pool. Why dafuq would someone do something like that?

Andrea Jennings's avatar

I know he could have simply waited till it was full and then walk across it…

Sharon Hudnall's avatar

It's on the same level of felony stupid as storing highly classified stolen government documents in a communal toilet by the swimming pool at Mar-a-Lago.

Leu2500's avatar

"that you rush an indictment before all the facts are in"

Which means that something hinky happened in the Grand Jury room. Just as numerous judges have found with other regime indictments. So when Hearn's lawyer went after the GJ transcript is when DoJ "found" the exculpatory evidence.

Lynn Van Haren's avatar

It should be made public by the judge & if she lied, she should be disbarred. This is the problem in a nutshell. There have been NO CONSEQUENCES for their lies
