The people are incredibly friendly, very kind, and deserve so much better than what they’re getting. But if you get off the highway system and drive deep into some of the neighborhoods, you will see poverty that you would think couldn’t exist in the United States anymore. It’s unacceptable that this still exists in the richest country in the world.
