Absolutely....he is depending on his crack team of lawyers..and the Federalist Society....to either change the Constitution or find ways around it. That's what made me uncomfortable when Dems woukdnsay 'That against the Constitution...can't do that!' I knew he would try to amend it or even do away with it like Hitler did with Germanys constitution.. The Dems don't have the legal firepower behind them like D does with their many massive thinktanks and organizations. Why did Stephen Miller start America First Legal?? To skirt Constitution.

What we need right now is to have one of his deep thinking supporters in Congress, (Oh, I don't know, Tommy Tuberville or Marjorie Taylor Green or Jim Jordan or Lauren Bobbitt or . . .; so many choices!) introduce legislation to repeal the 5th Amendment and while we are at it the 1st and the 4th and the 6th and the 13th, 14th, 15th and 17th. Then everything their idol is doing would be legal.

T💩p's “God Bless the USA Bible” includes the text of the King James Bible along with the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Pledge of Allegiance. It does not, however, include the 11th through 27th amendments of the Constitution, thus omitting the provisions that abolished slavery, granted the right to vote to women and Black people, and limited presidents to serving only two terms. It also leaves out the Insurrectionist clause.

Is anyone else here AS sure as I am that nosferatu miller is THE one behind ALL of it? T L Mills's avatar

Yesterday, I read an entire article (on Substack...I think) on the idea that Miller is behind much of 47's policies--especially immigration, of course. It also said that Miller has been safe because he lurks in the background. Close enough to have 47's ear, but far enough away so he doesn't get blamed and thrown under the bus.

I have noticed Miller giving policy speeches and interviews lately and I'm wondering why he's allowing himself to be put in the public eye and doing all this speechifying. Doing so can be risky, especially if/when Donny starts to thinking that Miller is too popular (like that will ever happen) or that he's getting too much attention. So one of the things the article said was that Miller is not good with being challenged in a interview...pressure makes him go into melt-downs. The article recommended that interviewers question his assertions.

And as for what "we the people" can do is to use placards and posters that make it clear that we think Miller is in charge, not 47.

So the messaging is this:

1) "This isn't Trump's playbook; it's Miller's script."

2) "When Trump talks legalese, it's really Miller talking through him."

3) "Miller doesn't "advise" the President...he programs him."

I wish I could remember the name of the article and who wrote it...I thought it had lots of good info.

I take self-defense classes at a "fight club" (it's not a single gym but a large venue that leases out space to coaches and groups). Something that looks new to me is seeing women in those classes: boxing, MMA, individual martial arts. As much as a third. Gun ownership among women jumped almost 50% (to 23% of all US adult women in 2022) over six years from 2016.

I will say NOTHING here about "who will win in a civil war to establish Gilead", especially since that's fiction. What I will say is that the schtick perpetuated by both the Left and the Right since ever that women are helpless victims is false. I'm reasonably sure that when things go sideways, it will get ugly in a hurry. Could women be enslaved by men en masse? Maybe. But the cost would be higher than you think. Especially since a lot of men won't be bought in, necessarily.

There are 3 Justices who have voted against the Trump administration's attempts to overthrow the Constitution. But they are not on TV telling the truth about the crook in the White House. They could be the Parents. But they lay low.

There are at least 300 members of Congress who know better. And they keep their mouths shut. A handful are beginning to speak out and tell the truth.

There are three co-equal branches of the federal government. Two of the three branches are afraid of the third one. The Legislative and Judicial branches are allowing the Executive Branch to steamroll them.

Patrick Henry warned in 1788 that a Bad Man who becomes president could use the power of the military and the justice department against the Legislative and Judicial branches. What he did not foresee was the president exerting control over the US Treasury payments system. Trump/Musk can fire them all with a mouse click and they know it. Their silence is extorted by fear.

yeah, I just saw the Rolling Stones article that Voight suggested it. No.

FUCK Kristen Welker for not blurting ‘what the fuck is wrong with you,’ throwing her notes to the floor, and walking out, and instead, help out the Nazi Propaganda Machine spread its bullshit, and leave it all over everything, undisturbed.

She's just another useless corporate media mouthpiece/puppet.

LIAR, FRAUD, CON, DUMBER-THAN-A-ROCK DONALD TRUMP IS DESTROYING AMERICA’S MANUFACTURING BUSINESSES!

“FALL RIVER, MA — On a factory floor in this city’s downtown, workers at Merrow Manufacturing are stitching sweaters, beanies, and blankets destined for distribution across the United States and Europe. The plan was to expand sales to China, but now that’s off the table.

Same complication on another floor in the building where Merrow makes sewing machines, some of which are exported to China and many other countries. The chief executive of the nearly two-century-old manufacturer, Charlie Merrow, said half its business is exports, with about 10 percent going to China, but that market is now paralyzed after Beijing slapped retaliatory tariffs on American imports.

“All open purchase orders are frozen,” Merrow said. “The machines that we build already are expensive and we can’t export them. Period.”

Joel, And we sit and watch every single massive attack on our Constitution go unpunished, unrecognized. We see our military 100% disregard the pledge they take. Sedition. Meh - too busy right now, Ignoring a unanimous ruling by all 9 SCOTUS, most of whom he appointed….So? That’s some fierce military!

Everything else, maybe not so fast.

It’s time to recognize who’s really responsible for Trump.. the ppl who voted for him.

We passed up two exceptional women, for someone who can’t remember the oath he’s taken. Twice

I always said this country would vote for a black man before they'd vote for a woman. Even then, they could only manage to vote for a half black man. While I did vote for Obama twice, I've voted for Hillary Clinton 3 times now and I just despair when I think what we could have had. I truly believe she would have been an excellent president. She got shit done. And that's why we really need to elect a woman. We know how to clean up messes made by other people and we fucking get things done.

Because he's an idiot jeff. He has other people to think for him. My blood boils watching this narcissistic dumpster fire parade around like King Dipshit, telling small businesses to get fucked while he jerks off billionaires. America's become a goddamn cult worshipping a sundowning tyrant who can't remember what a fucking stroller is or how not to shit his own pants.

I'm sick and tired of him and other wealthy assholes telling us to just suck it up for awhile and how glorious it will be later. You want me to sacrifice- then you (billionaires) do the same. They need to STFU. Especially Lutnick and his stupid comment about his mother-in-law missing her SS check. Talk about condescending and tone deaf.

He’s changing tactics. He’s going to the “I don’t know” tactic. It’s a strategy. No one knows what to say or what to do when he says “I don’t know” followed by “I’m not a lawyer.” “I’m not an economist. “I’m not a scientist.” “I’m not an ecologist.” Etc.

it’s another way of avoiding saying outright to Welker, “I’m a con man without peer who is succeeding in befuddling all you woke assholes who are against me.”
