It's true, attention must be paid. But it's like watching a train wreck - you can't look, and you can't look away. In fact, it's worse - in this case the derailed train is heading right for us. I'm truly sick and tired of watching our world implode, but also can't bear not to know what's happening. Thank you Jeff -

I think you and many others miss an important point about Trump's unique genius. For example, he is anxious to let Putin simply have everything he wants because Trump knows as soon as Hitler took Poland, that's all he wanted and the world was at peace again.

Trump subscribes to the Reagan, rugged individual, I did this on my own, American frame. When Trump bought casinos or started other businesses, eventually the only one left at the bankrupt business was the criminal-elect himself. Alone. Perhaps scarred, but riding off into the sunset (leaving a wake of unpaid union and non-union workers behind).

Reagan told us how bad government was. "I'm with the government and I'm here to help" was one of the hilarious frames created by the co-star to Bonzo, Reagan was arguably the worst President of the 20th Century. Reagan demonstrated just how bad government could be by shifting the cost of higher education to students and their families, weakening labor unions, and shifting wealth from the middle class to his wealthy donors and friends.

And people seem to be hyper-critical of Pete "Warfighter" Hegseth. Criticize if you wish, however I (along with many of our Foreign adversaries) appreciate the new DoD transparency. While it may endanger some pilots and frontline military personnel -they are so unimportant they don't even have their own Make Up studio like Pete has.

People are confused about the trade war and don't seem to think the criminal-elect knows what he's doing. He has the element of surprise here. No one knows what he'll do next. And global markets and economies are reacting to his every word. He says "tariff" and the market drops 1,000 points. He says "no tariff" and the market skyrockets 1,000 points. It's a good thing people like Pam "Bribe Me" Barbie Bondi are paying attention and making sure no one is profiting from those extreme market swings.

Yours in service.

Susanna, Completely agree. The most terrifying piece are the men and women who voted for rapists knowing they are rapists. Trump: Over 20 women came forward about sexual assault. There's the Jeffrey Epstein friendship that included sex with minors. Don't kid yourselves - birds of a feather. Trump probably raped teenage girls along with Epstein and won't release the evidence and Epstein is dead because he knew too much. Finally, in a court of law, the jury found Trump guilty of rape - the E. Jean trial. Moving on to Hegseth, he raped a fellow republican married woman who made her way to getting a rape kit the next day. His mother even said Pete hates women until they muzzled her and she recanted. These two monsters who have brutalized women all their adult lives were put in the highest positions of power, beating highly intelligent women for the job of POTUS. THAT is depressing. The fact that you look right and left and someone in your line of sight doesn't give two shits about women's safety or status in society. Fifty percent of the population is second class and who cares, right? Just vote for the orange monster they said. I want cheap eggs. Men are smarter than women. I have despised Trump since he became a public figure way back in the 80's. I have always known how completely full of shit he is. But, in his first term I would at least try to understand where he was coming from and what the impact of his actions could be. But, now, my gut reaction when he says anything is to assume he is lying and/or has no clue what he is talking about. And, given his polling, it appears that more people are catching on. The hard core MAGA crowd will never leave him. But we don't need those knuckle draggers to take back the country. What we do need is more leadership from the Dems. Time for them to toss their consultant driven messaging and aggressively oppose this clown, and everything he stands for, every damn day.

Well maybe Doge was forced to turn the light back on this week!
