Donald Trump is a vindictive little shit
it takes your breath away to be reminded just how far the grudge-obsessed fuck has always been willing to go to abuse power
the steady drip drip drip of bad news for the twice-indicted twice-impeached popular-vote-losing insurrection-leading serial-sexual-predating draft-dodging casino-bankrupting hush-money-paying real-estate-scamming ketchup-hurling classified-war-plan-thieving weather-map-defacing tax-cheating charity-defrauding money-laundering fluorescent tangerine jackass just keeps on keeping on.
A federal judge ruled Thursday that Donald Trump can be deposed in the lawsuit ex-FBI agent Peter Strzok brought against the Justice Department for his wrongful termination after the Russia investigation.
In the lawsuit, Strzok alleges Trump’s political vendetta against him – whom Trump criticized in tweets – led to his wrongful termination, and that the Justice Department wrongfully released text messages he exchanged with former FBI lawyer Lisa Page. Page is also suing. Trump has denied wrongdoing.
Judge Amy Berman Jackson agreed with the request to depose Trump.
ha fucking ha. good. it’s always amusing to watch these videos of Trump, wearing those glasses he so desperately wants to keep us from knowing he needs, as he struggles to read the simple, third-grade-reading-level statements that his ace team of parking garage lawyers have prepared for him.
amusing, but simultaneously horrifying, because these depositions and court appearances by Trump always bring us new evidence that displaya what a petty, damaged and broken-inside jackass Individual-1 is.
the Strzok lawsuit has already brought one charming episode to light:
John F. Kelly, who served as former President Donald J. Trump’s second White House chief of staff, said in a sworn statement that Mr. Trump had discussed having the Internal Revenue Service and other federal agencies investigate two F.B.I. officials involved in the investigation into his campaign’s ties to Russia.
hmmm. using the full force of the United States government to persecute two private citizens who had the utter temerity to express negative opinions about Dear Leader … let’s see, what would we call that?
would it be … the weaponization of government?
holy shit! that’s exactly what it is! let’s call that unctuous little yapdog Jim Jordan. I’m sure he’ll immediately open some hearings. isn’t that his thing?
we always knew that Donald Trump was a spite-fueled vindictive little shit. but it takes your breath away to be reminded once again just how far the score-settling fuck has always been willing go to abuse his power, to feed his damaged little ego.
oh Donny. who broke you? was it your tyrannical Klansman father? was it your emotionally-distant brandy-nipping mother?
at the end of the day, who cares, really. just lock him the fuck up.
folks, a word on a different subject before I let you go: we’re doing some quarterly fundraising at my other venture, The Smirking Chimp. I’m leery of even mentioning it because if you’re one of the people paying to support my own writing here, you’re already doing god’s work and you’re already doing more than enough to help out. but if you’ve got five dollars that you absolutely wouldn’t miss and you do feel like supporting the Chimp, well, that just makes you twice the hero. the donation link is here, or you can go straight to paypal if you need no further convincing. and if you don’t care to donate, that’s totally cool, too, and we will not speak of this again. in fact, we never had this conversation. thanks for listening and that’s it from me for now.
My husband says I so look forward to my morning with Jeff I should buy you a cup of coffee and put you on the Christmas card list. I told him I’m a subscriber 😉
Oy, gevalt, this shit keeps rolling down the hill like a roll of cheese on Cooper's Hill in Gloucester, while the Jordans of this realm keep tumbling after and wetting themselves.
