If memory serves in S Florida PBS comes in on Channel 2, and Walt Nauta learned long ago that it’s hopeless to try and teach him how to work the remote beyond pressing the red button
If that’s the case, then if PBS in S Florida vacates channel 2 perhaps many independent news/content creators, such as Meidas Touch, Lincoln Project, I Am Politics Girl, Democracy Docket, etc… could form a production company and take over the only channel that Trump can count up to (2).
I had the same reaction....In fact, the only point in all of this daily (hourly?) lunacy that actually surprised me is that Donnie Demento tuned in to PBS. I wonder if he's feeling symptoms of wokeness now? He'd better be careful: if President Goebbels Miller finds out, Donald will find himself on the next plane to El Salvador.
Most likely: Donald's dementia has reached the point that he cannot remember how to change channels (or, possibly, even that there are many channels on a TV).
And only one that he’s smart enough to watch when he turns on his TV alone, PBS Ch 2 WPBT in S Florida that comes on automatically when he presses the red power button because it’s the lowest channel. He’s a red button guy, and one of his ted buttons orders a diet coke while the other turns on the TeeVee
I also find it disturbing that a PBS station decided to show that film, but it is South Floriduh so I guess it tracks…as a floriduh-in I can attest that my local PBS stations show odd programming too.
It actually is based in reality, with a TON of dramatic license of course!
The three prisoners the film is based on actually did escape and were never found, although there have been many theories and even stories of people that knew them later in life as civilians…it’s pretty fascinating!
Are you saying he watched PBS? 🤣

He’d throw the remote at the TV.

So many beautiful channels!

Defunded PBS today, no?
Maybe he thought Antiques Roadshow was on.
Antiques Roadshow: Everything Is Covered In Unspeakably Ugly Gold Paint Edition
🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
👍wonderful comment👍
Or if you wanted to go a different way:
Maybe he thought Benny Hill was on
Nope. He thinks ARS is about him!
I find that shocking, he's never been for anything educational.

Probably didn't know it was fiction; probably thought it was factual and historic.

Yep, the Anglin brothers. Florida boys, too
I always loved that part because my mom and her family were Anglin— no relation to the escapees that I'm aware of.
He never got past Sesame Street
Yup.
😂😂😂
He just didn't know it was PBS.
The great tastemaker Hannibal Lector could be a design consultant.
That was my first thought too.
Oh the irony!
That was my first thought too. But Clint Eastwood was in it, so there’s that.
That struck me too
Right? I had to post that one
There’s an irony for ya!
