a close friend texted me last night, "good luck finding the chuckles" and I replied, "nope it's gonna be one of those pure anger posts."

Stephanie Lajeskie's avatar

Well “Vice Ayatollah Couchfuck McTurban” did make me LOL!

Paula Dean's avatar

Me too! First laugh in a week!

Pam Humphrey's avatar

Oh, yeah. So loud I scared the poor dog again.

Carol Jacobson's avatar

That almost made me aspirate my cereal.

P123Sunny's avatar

Had me at “Vice Ayatollah”… bc that’s exactly the sensitivity they’d dole out… omg Jeff. I HOPE you have an international audience - so they can see we’re kinda trapped!!!?

Lady Emsworth's avatar

Be assured - he does.

All I can say is - thanks, Americans, for showing the rest of the world the danger we ALL face.

Eileen's avatar

OMG. Almost peed in my pants reading that one. Jeff’s posts are so lethal with humor and biting commentary they should come with a warning: “Resist sipping beverages or reading on a full bladder…”

Mike Hammer's avatar

Glad you pointed out what an asshole Senator John “Cornhole” Cornin is. Fascist Trump bootlicker.

Sharon Hudnall's avatar

Fetterman is the same. Brick shit house in a hoodie.

Susan MacNeil, PhD's avatar

Sadly I believe his stroke played with his brain.

Sharon Hudnall's avatar

He's been getting the benefit of the doubt since he stroked out and suffered a deep bout of depression. Then he rebounded as a DINO Trump fanboy. He should have retired after his illness for the good of the nation.

Linda Weide's avatar

He's no good, he's no good, he's no good, he's no go-o-o-o-d!

Teri Gelini's avatar

Truer words never spoken. I also think the stroke really changed who he was.

Kristy Kanen's avatar

BABY ! He's no goood.

Steve in SoCal's avatar

That's what I tell myself. It assuages the guilt and shame I have for sending him $25 for his Senate campaign.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

I remember when people were suspicious of him because they thought he was a Bernie Bro. Ha.

DebJS's avatar

I added up all my small contributions to Fetterman's campaign and it came to over $180! Bamboozled by clever email requests and personalized thank-yous for my contributions. That, and fear of Oz winning.

Steve in SoCal's avatar

I had forgotten about Oz. So if the choice is between a stroked-out weasel or a literal snake oil salesman, I'll take the weasel.

barb's avatar

At the time he was the lesser of 2 evils so it made sense that you would have thrown him your support. Why is it though that the Dems get stuck with the Fetterman's and Manchin's while everyone in the malevolent, festering GOP sticks together no matter what.

Patrick Daniels aka Cromulent1's avatar

Damn, I remember saying this asshole is a turncoat, don’t trust his stroked out ass!

HP's avatar

Here’s a website where you can demand your contributions back:

https://www.primaryfetterman.com/refund

cablecargal's avatar

I'm pissed that I paid $5 for a Fetterman sticker. What a mistake.

A.J. Madison's avatar

I donated to John when an extra Dem in the Senate made a difference, and it was only good for about 5 minutes, and idiot Chuckie Schumer allowed himself to get Charlie Browned again. My point is, John is not the only reason that Congressional Dems are pathetic losers.

Kristy Kanen's avatar

They're NOT. But they ARE outnumbered.

Steve in SoCal's avatar

You can add Jared Golden, Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, Adam Gray, Don Davis, Henry Cuellar, Tom Suozzi, Jeanne Shaheen, Jacky Rosen, Tim Kaine, Maggie Hassan, Catherine Cortez Masto, and Dick Durbin to the pathetic loser list

Dave Drell's avatar

Indeed! Vote him out!

Linda Weide's avatar

Clearly. He should be in assisted living not making public statements and taking public actions.

Jan Moon's avatar

If you see his mouth start to move you know whatever comes out of it is going to piss you off.

Linda Weide's avatar

I don't listen to him talk. I don't listen to most Republicans talk. I prefer to read what they say in Jeff's transcripts.

P123Sunny's avatar

Do you think they threatened to deport his wife? I wonder if they hinted…(?)

Kathy Treftz's avatar

Unfortunately, Fetterman is one of my Senators and I voted for him but had reservations. I was at a Harris-Walz rally and Fetterman came out to say a few words. He looked like he didn't want to be there and it really showed. He even taunted the Philly audience. I can't wait to vote for a primary challenger.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

I hope he declines to run again. Like you said, he looks like he doesn't really want to be there.

DebJS's avatar

Maybe he's actually trying to get "fired" - subconsciously at least.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

He's free to resign anytime. I'm sure Governor Josh Shapiro has a list of fine replacements.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

Each week when I check the voting record rankings on ProgressivePunch.com and scan the senators, I shake my head when I see Fetterman way down almost in Republican territory. OK, his actual numbers aren't THAT bad, but he ranks below Angus King right now as one of the most conservative Democrats. Oh well, at least he doesn't have a zero progressive score like my two clowns, Bernie Moron-o and Jon Useless.

Charles Austin's avatar

Yes. We have two shit for brains senators. Fail upward Husted and Bernie Escobar Moreno. But take heart. Sherrod is back!

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

I"m feeling pretty good about our chances. I hate to say this because I firmly believe that everyone should vote but bigotry could be our friend. A lot of MAGAs might see a brown-skinned Hindu vegan with a funny name for governor at the top of the GOP ticket, decide voting isn't worth the trouble and decides stay home. I don't think Ramaswamy is going to help Republican turnout. Oh well, I can't drag them to the polling place!

Steve in SoCal's avatar

>>Oh well, I can't drag them to the polling place!

Actually, you kinda can. You're in NE Ohio, right?

https://www.voterdrivecle.com/

Patrick Daniels aka Cromulent1's avatar

Spelled correctly I might add!

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

OMG I just checked the Progressive Punch rankings and typically the two senators from NH, Maggie Hassan and Jean Shaheen, are the only ones below Fetterman. Shaheen is now above Fetterman (he's 46, she's 45). Next week probably Hassan will be above him, leaving Fetterman side by side with ... Susie Concern! In fact I'm looking at Hassan's actual numbers and they're better than Fetterman's right now. She's below Fetterman on only one of the four metrics. WTF.

Daniel M Kimmel's avatar

Hope you can get Pappas elected.

Steve in SoCal's avatar

That's a cool site. I just checked, and my Senators (Schiff and Padilla) are "in the green" 😊

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

It is. I check it regularly and it's full of great info and some surprises — like Chuck Schumer ranked three slots more progressive than Bernie Sanders in a metric that counts: voting record. (You can almost always count on the Massachusetts Two being #1 and #2 though.)

Steve in SoCal's avatar

Schumer would be a decent rank-and-file Senator. But to paraphrase Michael Corleone in The Godfather: "You're not a wartime consigliere, Chuck."

James Starr's avatar

he must be a Russian asset, that's the only thing that makes sense... getting a check every week or month from Russia oligarchs

Kristy Kanen's avatar

Angus King is an INDEPENDENT.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

He caucuses with the Democrats AND he has a more liberal voting record than Fetterman. He is also not erratic. He takes clear positions and explains why he votes as he does.

Jane's avatar

On Fetterman- We need to get a really pro democracy Democrat to run against his ass! Sick of him!😡

Major Kong's avatar

So it was a big success Senator Fetterman. Iraq taught us that yes, there's dancing in the streets and pulling down of statues and everyone's happy until there are no services like police, water, electricity. No law and order. Then the competing militias and factions come out and there's civil war.

Bob Kent's avatar

I can't wait to vote against him, the POS 💩

Linda Weide's avatar

He is just not right in the head. Let us hope some of the voters are and they get rid of his nasty self.

Susan Marleau Whelan's avatar

I don't know were Fetterman got his opinion, but I hope he kept the receipt.

Susan Marleau Whelan's avatar

Excuse my spelling. That should be "where" not "were".

I'm sure the TV ads don't run outside of texas, but Cornyn and Abbott ads are cringingly hitched to trump.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

In the next series, they'll vie to clean his toilet with their tongues!

s.Michael Morgan's avatar

The problem is that Maddox is no better, if he wins the Senate race.

Daniel M Kimmel's avatar

Do you mean Paxton? Lester Maddox died in 2003.

s.Michael Morgan's avatar

You are so correct! See, I pay so little attention to these clowns that I can’t even get their names right!

Kristy Kanen's avatar

trump wi endorse Pa ton, because he's a sexual psychopath too.

Pryor Lawson's avatar

Senator Cornhole will likely be out-MAGAted in the March 3 primary by Ken Paxton, the vilest of the vile Texas Rethugs (and that's pretty vile!). I'm hoping he reverts to the Country Club wing of the party that he once belonged to, decades ago, for the remainder of his term. If that causes him to throw the tiniest monkeywrench into the Manchurian Canteloupe's machinations, his defeat will not be in vain. (Then again, who am I kidding?)

Mike Hammer's avatar

Always a race to the bottom.

Pam Humphrey's avatar

Wish everyone could catch Cornyn’s re-elect-me ads (on MSNow…every freakin’ 15 minutes) where be brags about voting for with Trump 99 percent of the time. Cornyn’s losing his re-election bid. He deserves it.

Kay-El's avatar

BREAKING: 🚨 reports that an Iranian Shahed-136 drone has struck an Emirati oil platform in the Persian Gulf.

If Iran is going after the oil then this is going to wreck the global economy even more than just closing the strait of Hormuz.

Trump has made a massive mistake.

arne link's avatar

Everything Trump touches dies. We know this to be true. Kushners Saudi friends are going to be pissed.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

But isn't Kushner Trump's Middle East guru? Even though he said he's not even in the administration? Oh the lies ...

Ole Anderson's avatar

They don’t give a shit. The oil will still be there to be pumped and shipped when trumps tantrum has run it’s course.

The Saudis are so Rich they don’t need the revenue. Unlike some countries such as Russia who are totally dependent on the daily sale of all they pump.

Stranger Than Friction's avatar

If everything Trump touches dies, he should touch himself more often.

Anna B's avatar

Since we have little to no control over the regime's mania, we can at least hope for fallout to hit his family!

Linda McCaughey's avatar

Trump IS a massive mistake.

Steve in SoCal's avatar

Per Trading Economics:

"Oil prices are poised to surge when trading resumes Sunday night, following unprecedented U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran"

Ole Anderson's avatar

Big Oil will raise prices and capitalize on the uncertainty whether they incur additional expenses or not.

That’s how they roll.

Steve in SoCal's avatar

Big Oil (BO) stinks

arne link's avatar

Crap! I'll bet the gas lines at Costco will be really long today. We better fill up. I pity the commuters who still have jobs.

Steve in SoCal's avatar

I did service work all around the Greater LA area for about 40 years and had to refuel every day and a half; it was brutal at times 💸💸💸 😬

Charles Austin's avatar

I bought gas this morning when it was $2.45 gal.

Linda McCaughey's avatar

Texas? honestly?? well, damn. I was hoping it was a bit closer to the U.P. than that!

PTW's avatar

Susan, your last line, "Trump has made a massive mistake" is evergreen.

Charles Austin's avatar

The insurance industry will close the Straight, not the Iranian navy.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

Yes, yet another one. This one epic.

Maria 🇮🇪's avatar

Absolutely Anastasia….KKKRAZY STUFF!!

Dan Parker's avatar

I totally get that. But you did provide a hearty chuckle with”Vice Ayatollah Couchfuck McTurban.” Thank you for that!

Dana Jae Labrecque's avatar

I totally laughed and enjoyed the shootin’ tootin’ Yosemite Sam which is perfect for this horror moment. Draft Barron and the call to send I.C.E. to Iran is a special idea I like. I know you, uncle Jeff, didn’t mention the wheezy American gestapo, but I’ve been seeing it elsewhere. And I freaking hate siding with MTG who has seen the light.

I hate this timeline and so glad I’m an elder.

barb's avatar

Has MTG really seen the light? She's always been batshit crazy. Maybe she started taking anti-psychotic medication or had a lobotomy.

Abby From Maine's avatar

"Vice Ayatollah Couchfuck McTurban!" Nope, you did it, Love you! <3

Susan Linehan's avatar

and draftbarrontrump.com is delightful. Look at the testimonials.

Ole Anderson's avatar

Sporkfoot, if you please Jeff. I’ve grown so attached to that moniker that I can accept no other.

It’s one of yours, too if memory serves.

kathiallyson's avatar

"Commander Bone Spurs" is an evergreen giggle.

Kim Steeves's avatar

Jeff, thank you for using Yosemite-Sam, my favorite Uncle, used him as his alter ego! Made me smile and giggle. Also the word for the day is "bastich", had to look that one up. So I've learnt something today, can now go vegitate and ignore this stupid world till your email tomorrow morning!

Deb Pierce's avatar

And this is one of your funniest! "Vice Ayatollah Couchfuck McTurban"! That one blew me away, even thoug as an interculturalist I should not have so thoroughly enjoyed the McTurban part. As a joke, it was hilarious. Thank you!! ❤️

kathiallyson's avatar

You brought the bitter laughs today. But so many of them I could hardly finish reading the piece.

Linda McCaughey's avatar

And yet, here I am, laughing absolutely uncontrollably! So grateful--the endorphins are flowing!!

Linda Weide's avatar

I was just grateful that after a weekend of watching too much coverage in a variety of countries, you can give me a laugh! Thank you.

Blue Dawg's avatar

I'm a veteran and I feel absolutely sick, heartbroken, and furious! The pedophile draft dodger is killing our valiant troops to distract us from the files. My WWII POW father must be spinning in his grave.

Megan Ross's avatar

My Dad and all 3 uncles (RIP) would be spinning in their graves if they weren't cremated. Especially my Marine Corps uncle who retired as a Colonel after serving our country for 35 years, resting in Arlington Cemetery. Argh!!😡

Bethie U's avatar

My father-in-law WWII vet and Nazi Germany POW is still ALIVE at 102! I almost wish he wasn't here to see all this shit. He became a lifelong pacifist after his discharge. He tells me he knew Trump 2.0 was going to be bad, but he never dreamed it would be so quick, so heinous and so full of such blatant disregard for the constitution and rule of law. My heart breaks twice.

Jane's avatar

My father was a POW in WW2. He would be so angry and sad if he was still alive!

Megan Ross's avatar

I can only imagine how your father-in-law is feeling about this crap. I feel bad he's having to witness this.😞

Claudia Green's avatar

My Dad too. He died at 97 last spring he was sick about Trump. Everything he had done his whole life was undone by the orange menace and his Nazi goons.

Kathy's avatar

My dad too. 😢

HI2thDoc's avatar

Ditto. The WWII veterans were the original antifa

Charles Austin's avatar

Same here.(WWll and Korea)

arne link's avatar

I fear that this action is going to kick up some PTSD with veterans. I hope the hotlines are available to deal with their pain.

Cathy Rady's avatar

Trump's probably already defunded them to pay for more missiles.

Kathy H's avatar

Not just the straight PTSD, but the Complex, in how the trauma is compounded & perpetuated by all the lies around it...as it is with childhood sexual abuse survivors & the Trump-Epstein case, a surreal nightmare that doesn't end. I bet resources are not being allocated, either, as people are being attacked on every level.

Hollie Rood's avatar

Thank you for your service Blue Dawg and that of your father. Based on the utter hatred, contempt and loathing I feel for tRUMP, I can only imagine the pain you must feel, especially as you know firsthand just what tolls the sacrifices the military make have on them and their families.

tRUMP thinks nothing of insulting our troops and their families as well as the Country as a whole. He was vile, standing in front of a podium, announcing we are at war with Iran, while wearing a baseball cap and open neck shirt with no tie, and now we have dead servicemen. I am beyond livid, sick and so so sad. He’s a malignant narcissistic uncouth bastard🤬

Kay-El's avatar

I think it should be named Operation Epic Fuckup

Paula Dean's avatar

I ❤️ the meme "Good thing Congress isn't alive to see this."

Denise de la Vaux's avatar

I laughed so hard at this. Because the Republicans, and frankly too many Democrats, might as well be dead.

DebJS's avatar

They're condoning and ratifying it by not doing anything to stop or reverse it. They're holding positions that could/should be held by people who honor their Oath to the Constitution.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

I like Operation Epstein Distraction and think we should keep using it. Everything Trump does is Operation Epic Fuckup.

Lisa Altman's avatar

That would basically be everyday

SethTriggs's avatar

Of course that would happen. We'll see if the pricktator will also be a jerk to their families. Because he seems to be able to keep doing that and Americans are fine with that.

HI2thDoc's avatar

You know he will. He is completely devoid of empathy. Remember he told the widow of a soldier killed in battle that "he knew what he signed up for"? Rep. Frederica Wilson of FL was on that call too.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

Yes, and he called her a liar. SHE wasn't the liar.

Megan Ross's avatar

This American is definitely not fine with that. Only the MAGAts are okay with whatever TRump does.

rlritt's avatar

And they said they voted for him because he said no more wars. Now they have to adjust their brains to believe what really wanted was more wars.

HI2thDoc's avatar

He lied. Again. What a surprise. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me thousands of times, I'm a MAGA

Dave Drell's avatar

Again:

he lies when he wakes up

he lies all day long

he lies when he goes to sleep

24 hours of bullshit

Ole Anderson's avatar

GW Bush couldn’t have said it better. Or said it at all, actually.

Hollie Rood's avatar

Spot on…👏👏👏

Megan Ross's avatar

The MAGAts must have to twist themselves into pretzels every day, just to keep defending TRump. What a horrid existence.

DebJS's avatar

It seems pretty easy for "Democrat" John Fetterman to defend and outright praise tRump. So there's that.

rlritt's avatar

He needs to stop running for office as a Democrat. Ever since his stroke, he hasn't been the same. He was a solid Democrat and after his stroke he's been a Trump synchophant.

john augustine's avatar

here come the body bags for another unnecessary war of choice

Mr Mild - BlueVotingBastard💙's avatar

Shall we start a pool on whether Donny will show up at Dover AFB to honor the service members who died to protect him from the Epstein Files?

My bet is no, but he will show up at Arlington National Cemetery for a photo op with the family with his creepy grin and thumbs up.

arne link's avatar

Oh, Lord. How I would love to see a family member just attack him and smash that shit-eating grin off of his ugly face.

Mr Mild - BlueVotingBastard💙's avatar

<Insert Steven Colbert popcorn GIF>

Dave Drell's avatar

Take one for the country!

HI2thDoc's avatar

NO way in hell would he do that. Not unless he could sell some shitty merch

Frank Nuts's avatar

Jeff. Can we come to a consensus on where Trump’s future burial site will be so we can start pissing in his future grave to prime it for his arrival?

PTW's avatar

Are you kidding me? Donald show up to honor the war dead, the people he sent to their graves? Ha.

rlritt's avatar

Didn't he say something like the real soldiers didn't die or some such insulting stuff.

PTW's avatar

Currently? Like, a comment he has made in the last day or so? Or are you referring to some other insulting thing he has said about our war dead in the past?

Sharon Hudnall's avatar

Veterans' suicide hot lines should be staffing up. I wonder how the troops who murdered those 147 schoolgirls feel about their "heavy and pinpoint bombing" today.

arne link's avatar

The people in our armed services were raised on video games. The splatter is not real to them. Young people do not have enough life experience to make reasonable choices. That's why we have very senior military commanders in charge. Normally.

Mr Mild - BlueVotingBastard💙's avatar

There was a photo of an Iranian man holding the (blurred) arm of one of schoolgirls. Post a clear version of that outside every military recruitment center.

arne link's avatar

My God, that is so horrible. Yes, let the people see what war is actually like. Will we be reinstating the draft soon?

Cathy Wray's avatar

Barron will be first in line!!

Paula Dean's avatar

Didn't Netanyahu do that? Not that tRump would shy away from murdering little girls.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

I loathe Netanyahu almost as much as I loathe Trump, so whatever.

Bob's avatar

Right-wing Israelis probably celebrated.

rlritt's avatar

Not that it matters, but I read it was really the Israelis who bombed the girls school.

arne link's avatar

Trump sure does like to describe grisly scenes of gushing blood. Him murdering someone weaker than himself seems like a possibility.

Gina's avatar

just another day for netty

rlritt's avatar

I would stop saying that because Trump will put Barron in a fancy uniform and send him to guard Mar a lago or the US embassy in Paris.

Ava's avatar

Baron's "father" doesn't seem to like his son - doubt this would make much of a dent.

Abby From Maine's avatar

He doesn't "care" for anyone but himself, but Melanoma would kill him. One problem solved.

Daniel M Kimmel's avatar

I want to see the reporter brave enough to ask if Barron is going to enlist.

Abby From Maine's avatar

That would be a career ending move, BUT Jeff Tiedrich is offering a special award for the first reporter who raises their hand at a rump presser and says, "What the fuck is wrong with you!?" <3

Daniel M Kimmel's avatar

Well, it would end that reporter's time at the White House, but I don't think it would be career ending.

Carol JLH's avatar

We were a military family for 38 years. I'm so angry I wish I could spit to Palm Beach. Draft Barron Trump indeed!

celeste k.'s avatar

what day does

for active duty?

Joyce's avatar

Well, you know--it's what the "suckers and losers" signed up for: they "knew what they were getting into."

I would love for Barron to be sent to the front lines. He could get the distinction of being the first and only person in Donnie Demento's family to serve in the military. Any military. His family came here to escape military service in Bavaria. (As a side note--no wonder he initially hit it off with Elonia, since escaping military service was why Elonia left South Africa....although apartheid South Africa never left him.)

Bob's avatar

Donny comes from a line of draft dodgers.

Clint Opine's avatar

For the glorious and noble purpose of distracting from the Epstein files

celeste k.'s avatar

Gee, I wonder what their families will say in response to the traitor getting their children killed for no reason other than he wants to cover up the crimes he has committed that are in the epstein files? Do you think any one of them will avenge their child's useless death and put trump out of his misery? I would applaud them if they did.

Cherié Brodnax's avatar

Every day it’s a new horror. I’m sick to my stomach.

Flower Child's avatar

Like fucking Covid, all completely preventable

Marc Panaye's avatar

The drump will do what he always does......

Remember his cancelled visit to a WW1 US military cemetery because his hair thing was going to get wet?

Remember drump calling falles US soldiers "suckers and losers"?

Those first three..... will he dare to say what he always says?

Wendymae's avatar

It's okay though bc when the magats were polled, this was way under the acceptable limit (I'm guessing). Shit happens!

BTW this was from the Kennedy Centers site from the guy who did Draft Barron. Pretty funny but can't quite bring myself to laugh -

I wish they'd do it already.

Joyce's avatar

The US did just establish that it's perfectly a-okay for one nation to decide that another one needs a regime change, because reasons. Seems to me that Iran now has a pretty good case for doing some regime changing, since it was directly attacked by the US and Israel, its leader was assassinated, and there's no denying the existential threat to its national security. Kinda a stronger case than the US had yesterday........

Annabelle's avatar

I don't know if we're gonna make it to midterms. There's no way we'll make it 3 years

celeste k.'s avatar

Wonder where the first bomb will hit?

Ole Anderson's avatar

Mierda a Lardo, of course.

Where else!?!

arne link's avatar

Don't get my hopes up. The regime will stage a fake bombing and blame it on Iran. Nothing is too low for them.

Lucius's avatar

Yeah. I've been half joking about a nuclear strike on Minneapolis for a few weeks now, but if they *really* wanted to try and sell a war on Iran, that would be the perfect set-up, and it's not like they don't want to kill everyone here anyway.

Lisa Altman's avatar

Oh thats really good

Hopefully the WH!!!

Doug Wright's avatar

...and that's a best-case scenario.

Tess's avatar

“Ayatollah Couchfuck McTurbin”…..brilliant. Also….PLAN? What’s a plan??? He probably can’t even spell it. I am royally pissed that 108 innocent children and 3 service members and…more have been murdered. Please choke on a big mac. 😡

CA Productions/Carol Ann's avatar

He has never had a plan. Look what he has done here. Just grifts and riffs, say whatever comes into his head and when he has a giant brain fart his flunkies tell him it was a brilliant idea. When are we going to destroy him?

I think Kegstand was itching for war also!

Kristina Jurecic's avatar

Plan? It's a made up word. The Democrats invented it.

Mike Hammer's avatar

Michael Johnson's avatar

Now, I fully expect an AI meme or video of just that by end of day. Slim Pickens, waving his cowboy hat and yee-hawing, is a tough one to top. AI does have some good points, but the bad FAR outweighs any good, IMHO.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

I need a photo of Pete Hegseth riding a cop car to jail.

SethTriggs's avatar

Good one😂

Stephanie Lajeskie's avatar

Oh, who needs the Situation Room when you have a “shit-suation room” at Mar-a-Lago? And who needs to address the Nation from the Oval, when you have a shitty app? And who needs plans for what happens next, when you have the attention span of a toddler hopped up on three lbs. of sugar? I’m sure it’ll all be just fine. We’ll probably know what the plans are in about two weeks.

Dana Jae Labrecque's avatar

Fucking awesome, Stephanie! “Shit-suation room!”

arne link's avatar

That is brilliant. It fits perfectly with his slurring so many words.

Jane's avatar

😂😂😂

Bob's avatar

Going to take some doing atoning for that.

She said several times in public on the record that he was lying hypocrite before she left office. So Trump said he was going to primary her, so she knew she'd be set up so she resigned. Its hard when you realize how wrong you were and speak out. I give her that. She isn't a Democrat, but no longer a MAGA creep anymore.

arne link's avatar

And, anyway, she made her millions on insider trading like all the rest of them. Now she and Beesting Face can retire comfortably.

Charles Austin's avatar

Insider trading buys a lot of Benadryl.😂😂

Outdoorluvr's avatar

She did not. It's not that hard to look up her stock trading, and see that she did the same as every other investor who pays attention. Also not hard to look up her assets and their values, or the businesses that she owns... one, before she ever ran for congress.

steve robertshaw's avatar

Purchased huge amount of Palantir stock just before it was awarded a huge contract with ICE - she was a member of the House committed involved in overseeing government contracts with Homeland Security. Also purchased large number of shares in many companies affected by tariffs just days before trump reversed his insane tariff policy in April '25. Insider knowledge.

rlritt's avatar

Yes, most politicians trade and make money. It helps that they are in the know, but not its not illegal

Outdoorluvr's avatar

A huge amount, huh? $1000-15,000 on shares is not a "huge amount". At that rate, she couldn't have made even $1 mil when the share price tripled. Palantir already had several contracts with the gov't and DHS, so there was no surprise with them getting another ICE support. And you never looked at MTG's stock buys, or you'd have seen how much she lost on the bad guesses... tariffs or not. Her "wealth" didn't come from trading. It came from using her MBA to make smart financial decisions for herself and her businesses.

Jeff, quick hits today…. First off WTF is Donald’s plan for Iran? Other than to take over the oil fields and production similar to what is going on in Venezuela.. Regime change? As I have told many.. was there a regime change in Venezuela? Nope, just the removal of the pres and First Lady, the ruling party is still in power. As to Iran, I pointed out that removing Dear Leader while maintaining the existing party and governmental structure will change nothing and… how do we know that the next Dear Leader would not be worse than the previous one? It’s all about oil all the time.. Couple those facts with a midterm election that increasingly looks sketchy, the state surveillance apparatus, the takeover of the media, inflation ramping up, a shit show in the markets on Monday morning, the possible per gallon gas prices reaching $5, our social safety net erosion…. It seems this complete shit show is by design to control the civilian population, use war or the threat of war to control foreign policy..ie…. Cuba, Canada, Greenland, Venezuela, Panama…. And bankrupt our country… but then we told the red hats all this shit would happen… and yet…and yet…. Best to All.

HI2thDoc's avatar

Of course the short attention spanned, ignoramus Epstein-implicated crook and his regime of idiots rush in to engage in another Middle East war, with no clear military objective, no long-term visionof how to accomplish that as of yet unformulated objective, and definitely no exit strategy. After the two other republican ME quagmires of Afghanistan and Iraq, these dumbshits have learned nothing. Death, destruction, war profiteering, possible terrorist attacks, severe wounds, PTSD, TBIs, murder of civilians (which has already happened) will be upcoming. And for what? To forestall the midterm elections? To distract from the Epstein scandal? Ridiculous, illegal, immoral. Impeach this fucker now!

Mr Mild - BlueVotingBastard💙's avatar

There is no oil or LNG right now. Tankers are not going through the Straits of Hormuz because their insurance companies won’t cover them.

Oil and gas prices will go up because of this. Will Trump’s MAGA base turn on him because of this? They complain that they didn’t vote for grocery prices to soar, or for their neighbors, employees, or spouses to be detained (kidnapped) by ICE and deported. I’d bet they still support Dear Leader, and would likely place the blame on someone else.

Are we winning yet?

Sooz Hall's avatar

I thought all these problems were brought on by the Biden Administration …

Dana Jae Labrecque's avatar

We must consider the likely “hit at home” that we are about to take while they blame Iran. You’ll know it was the Miller-Vought-Noem demons if they hit a blue city. That will be the tell.

Up until now, there was a full menu of nauseating actions of this regime - the daily lies, the sexually violated children, the making of economic disaster and the dead fishermen, but it was possible to say, "No, I'm going to take a day off from the news," and have a reset.

But somehow this hits a lot harder - the image of those dead and wounded schoolgirls. It feels like this whole nation is complicit in a war crime, even those of us who did everything we could defeat this fucker in three elections.

Neal Stiffelman's avatar

“The boil upon the arse of democracy” is perhaps more truthful, but it’s close enough. I reckon it’s all gonna get a lot worse every fucking hour of every fucking day.

Lucius's avatar

Yeah. How long until we have WWII consisting of the rest of the world invading us to keep shitler from launching nukes?

arne link's avatar

I choose Norway. May we please be invaded by Norway with Canada as a second choice? Update: delete Canada, Carney is all in on the killing. That was a surprise to me. I suppose that if Iran can't produce oil, then Canadian tar sands will have their day. It's always about the bottom line.

I don't much care as long as the Republican party gets obliterated.

Americans need to remember that this is just going to happen whenever you put the unreconstructed party in power. Should probably avoid giving them unitary control of government, even if they promise that they're going to torment and eliminate the minorities you dislike.

Let's pour one out for the Internet clout some chaos agents earned for claiming the pricktator is "anti-war!"
